She signed that paper for her daughter to do a C-section and in the case of deeper emergency a hysterectomy. The body can reject the blood given to them, removing womb can be a way to save them. They hesitated and went against the mother wish. That's careless

What is wrong with these doctors and nurses in these hospitals in Jamaica?
Didn't they know what blood type she had before she went into labour?
I am not a doctor or nurse, but my knowledge would tell me what to do in the little girls' case.
This is hard to take in.

I had a family member who's now 57 and had her first child at 20 in Jamaica who's now 37 and almost every day she would tell the story of how they the nurses treated her so bad because they thought she was younger because she didn't look like 20 they curses her and treated her so badly and and i also knew of 3 more situations like that so yes they couldn't care less about you so sad

It's not right for a child to get pregnant, but sometimes parents don't know how some of the teens get pregnant, it's not bad they are bad things happened to some of them that they are not aware of, this didn't have to happen to this teen something is happening at the Spanish Town Hospital that the government needs to find out and put a stoppage to it, 12 year old got pregnant and has her child at KPH without any problems at all, adults went to Spanish Town Hospital and lost their lives and their baby Why?.

Maternal death is really too high in Jamaica.
There is a responsibility to be taken by both country and people.
Many don't understand that giving birth is not just carrying a child and pushing them out. Each person may have associated risks that they need to identify if possible, before having chindren. Some you will never know until pregnancy sadly.
There are also somethings that once it occurs, it is hard to reverse or rectify.

  • @lincolnblack2410
    @lincolnblack2410 3 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +1

Dr Christopher need to resign , also the Doctors need to be suspended on a timely basis, and find liable for the death of that child and many other things come under healthcare , how is it possible for Doctors to strike , it simple they are not there for the care but for the money and this is why patients are not getting the care by some of these google doctors that they should get , when saying so 0:10 there must be a negotiation time frame give , when doctors go on strike they are saying let the patients die , because we have no feelings for humanity , set laws that bind and had serious consequences if this ever happened again , somebody must be held accountable for the death of this child regardless of the age and circumstances in which it was played out , Tufton cannot continue as health minister!

They were likely unable to control the bleeding. Additionally, it was mentioned that she had a rare blood type, possibly O negative. Postpartum hemorrhage is the leading cause of maternal death.
I wonder if she received regular antenatal care, as this could have identified her as a high-risk case. Her mode of delivery should have been discussed and agreed upon before she went into labor. She appears to be petite, and I believe a natural birth may not have been suitable for her. High-risk cases should be monitored in hospitals rather than clinics, at least during the last trimester of pregnancy.

What steps or solutions were discussed to prevent teenage pregnancies, yet responses focused on lawsuits and providing more education to those who are already well-informed? Doctors are not the problem to begin with.
    Solutions
    1. No sex before marriage.

The mother played a roll in this she’s irresponsible and should report the matter from day one and for her to allow a 14 yr old to carry a pregnancy is very irresponsible the whole blame should not be on the hospital Blane the person who got your baby pregnant such unfortunate situation may her soul rip and life perpetual shine upon her the mother said she took her daughter to Spanish town hospital and they didn’t give her any good answers so she left and go back home when she went back home the daughter ended up in severe pain so she took her back to Spanish Town hospital my question is if she claimed her first visit was unsuccessful why did she went back there a second time rather than going elsewhere? Now you want to blame the hospital wholly and solely wah can go suh?

  • @sharonchanner6090

Seems prenatal care was absent. Was CISOCA notified, since she was under age 16? These problems can't be solved at end stage ie at time of delivery. Cases like these shouldn't become an emergency if prenatal care & procedures are followed. Blaming medical personnels is not the solution in this situation.

It always amazes me how baseless conclusions are formed. Our mindset is so persecutory.
Let us here the details as given and then form a conclusion and not be delusional and make unfair blaming comments.
