I actually live a mile away from the shop. These Chinese were like any other Chinese shop owners, humble and easy-going. My community isn't known for any serious crimes such as murder. So when this happened, we were absolutely shocked and upset. I hope justice will be served for the Chinese, and I'm glad that this story is getting a lot of traction so that these heartless men are found. Not defending the person who took the liquor, but I think we should hear his side of the story as to why he did what he did before we judge. Maybe the report about that isn't exactly true. Maybe he purchased the liquor momentarily before the incident and then he couldn't leave because of what transpired. On the other hand, he's a minor so he shouldn't even be having liquor either.

@@clarissenior1940 I'm sorry but that is not going to help at all. Jamaica is known to be a praying country that is supposedly closer to God than many other nations but yet the violence is insane. It's not up to God. He can only do much as we need to solve our own problems at home with more strict laws, better homes (both parents), focus on education in terms of access to it, community centres in tough neighborhoods with access to the internet and certain amenities. If we don't resolve these issues that start from the home with raising better kids to become productive members of society then unfortunately this cycle will repeat.

I actually live a mile away from the shop. These Chinese were like any other Chinese shop owners, humble and easy-going. My community isn't known for any serious crimes such as murder. So when this happened, we were absolutely shocked and upset. I hope justice will be served for the Chinese, and I'm glad that this story is getting a lot of traction so that these heartless men are found.
Not defending the person who took the liquor, but I think we should hear his side of the story as to why he did what he did before we judge. Maybe the report about that isn't exactly true. Maybe he purchased the liquor momentarily before the incident and then he couldn't leave because of what transpired. On the other hand, he's a minor so he shouldn't even be having liquor either.

@@clarissenior1940 I'm sorry but that is not going to help at all. Jamaica is known to be a praying country that is supposedly closer to God than many other nations but yet the violence is insane. It's not up to God. He can only do much as we need to solve our own problems at home with more strict laws, better homes (both parents), focus on education in terms of access to it, community centres in tough neighborhoods with access to the internet and certain amenities. If we don't resolve these issues that start from the home with raising better kids to become productive members of society then unfortunately this cycle will repeat.
