I just made some copycat DIY tools using an old DVD. For the plunger, I took some bamboo from a friends yard and attached it by hot glue. If you decide to try this, be aware the DVD disk is in two parts and you have to peel away one of the layers with the writing on it. I used a marker to make a design, then used a heated exacto knife blade to excise the pattern. I will let yall know if it works. I am waiting for the hot glue to "cure" because I dont know how it will react to the lye in the soap.
Thank you. The soap turned out well. The pattern was a bit mottled because I made the mistake of shaking it somehow as I pulled it up, but it worked.

你好，我的皂液擠下去的時候會混合在一起，請問是不是皂液太稀了？還是擠的時候太用力衝下去了？
太稀了，而且我盡量不要從太高的地方倒下去

茅寶村 I think I was referring to the center where the colors muddied a bit. But the soaps are beautiful! I used your tool set and love it. My fave so far are with citrus EO’s and neon yellow, pink and orange.

This set of tools are amazing, we have nothing I can find like this in Australia or on eBay. Before they were used for soap were they used for something else?? Or called something else?

@@mejohnson88 I contacted some one who had the first set for the competition who now makes them, or has them made for her she sells them now and for the metal rod and 2 plastic ends she will send to Australia for $70 plastic is not worth that much I'm going to try and cut some myself or find a bubble blowing machine and take the end off.

The insert diameter is 6.8cm. The inner diameter of the soap column is 7cm. The height of the column is 20cm. The length of the rode is 36cm.
