Nice comparison. I worry about the SDX4's angled centre shaft connection to the front and rear diffs, causing variable speed rotation of the wheels, have you experienced that?
Universals joints/driveshafts require an offset. The center driveshafts must be at an angle just like the driveshaft angle on a real car or truck. There is no speeding up and slowing down of the differential pinion from the drive shaft angle, the pinion/driveshaft angle is not that extreme to slow down and speed up.
Adam, your videos are awesome, as the only guy in my area running serpent (srx2 gen3) I really appreciate the time you take to break everything down. I love the serpent, i would love to get my hands on a 4wd serpent, I just can't afford it right now lol. I was able to buy out my local hobby shops entire serpent spare parts stock for $100... It's just too bad most of it is SRX2 MH parts and 4wd parts... Oh well, But I did get some stuff that's interchangeable with the new one. Maybe I should just look for a MH for my daughter to drive or something. Anyway thanks for the videos they are great!
@@adamlapid5201 yeah I have the s411 touring car and the Srx2 Buggy and the 1/12 scale which is somewhat of a unicorn but runs really well haven't raced in quite some time though thinking about getting back into it I've ran other vehicles Losi and associated and when I started running serpent I thought it was the best!! How much you want for your sdx4 ? Im in Ohio. I was also thinking about buying the 8th scale RTR buggy. Do u run 8th scale ??
@@tjtj3829 I run 1:8 primarily now. I just posted a SX8T-E unboxing video. I'd let the SDX4 for cheap. Email me at adamclapid@yahoo.com so I can get your address and contact info.

I just saw this comment. Thanks Andrew, if you have any specific questions post another comment.
Nice overview of the changes to the SRX4, are these available in the U.S. yet?
Yes, the SRX4 GEN3 is available here in the US.
