Zach Johnson, the “Millennial Farmer” is a 5th-generation farmer who’s spent his life growing, working, and learning on his family’s farm. His wit and dry sense of humor appeal to children and adults alike. A product of the millennial generation, his appreciation of new technology blends with his old-fashioned work ethic, and he offers a unique ability to deliver his message in a way that resonates with lifelong farmers as well as those with no knowledge of agriculture. With growing consumer awareness about where their food comes from, Zach has identified the need for an independent voice from the front lines of agriculture. Zach actively promotes agriculture by sharing his day-to-day experiences in the agriculture world while providing farmer-to-farmer education to help facilitate a collaborative conversation between farmers and the public.

For those wondering about the grain cart: J&M came and got it all fixed up while we continued to harvest without it. I did not get any video that day, sorry!! And thank you to J&M for the quick repair!
I had wondered
Thanks for update
That's a shame but fully understand know its a busy time before weather changes . Thanks for all you work..Stay safe.
Thank you for the information. We depend on our J&M cart also.
All the rain was south of the Interstate. Lucky!
That's awesome. As to the content, the less time you spend fixing equipment, the more time you have for harvesting and tillage. The combine and cart going down sucked, evan if under warranty it's down and costing valuable weather. I would rather see you and your family have a successful harvest and enjoy your interactions with your family, friends, and workers. Farming is never a dull moment
There is nothing better then to have your kids happy, riding with Dad. They grow up so fast. You will have those videos forever. I am sure your boy just forgot to use all fingers for waving.😅
7:50 One finger salute. (Code:) Your #1 😁
I'm pretty sure you've got the coolest dogs, the cutest daughters, and a beast of a son
Keep on parenting this well please. You’re nailing a wholesome and honest relationship with your kiddos … commenting from the land down under.
Thank you!
What a wonderful scene-stealer who also upstages her Dad!
Always loved flipping dad off and him doing it back whenever we are working fields together
havent we all, or our brothers, always give them the bird, you just gotta get in first thats all
Your daughter is so happy to be with you.
When Ila promoted the merchandise, I just knew she would take over your job one day! 😃👍👍
Just for info,.....her name is Isla.
Miss bubbly Eilla makes a great combine partner, nice she likes to come out to help you. good to hear non eventful days have come. did the grain cart auger get fixed yet . hoping for more boreing days to come, have fun
Zach, I love your dad, he seams so easy going when you talk to him, like nothing gets him worked up, however, I’m sure you’ve seen different? Love the videos, as a non farmer I’ve learned a lot!
What happened about the the grain cart repair Zak ?.
@@robincornwell755J&M sent a crew up to fix the Grain cart.
@@robincornwell755 Bet he just snapped his fingers.
@@MrHurricaneFloyd patience is a hard virtue to master if wound tighter than an eight day clock. 63 here and not much bothers me anymore
I've definitely seen different, but most of the time he's very level headed. I think that's where I get it from.
Isla will be going from pushing cotton candy baby doll across the yard to running the combine across the field
Thanks for the hard work, Becky
3:33 Ernest was my most favorite show/movies growing up!
Greetings from Australia. Just want to say this, don't worry too much about posting videos at such a busy time, you have a farm to run, and at the moment a harvest to finish getting in, so all your energy and concentration should be devoted to that. Don't get me wrong, I love the content you put out, but your priority right now should be your business, you'll get down-time soon enough to devote to other pursuits.
Awesome video Zach. High 5 to Becky for the editing and kicking your butt outta the house of a morning to get you motivated😜. 🚜🚜🚜
Regarding the quiet days with "boring" content: while challenges can be for for us to see, its also pretty awesome to see you guys running at full speed :)
random observation: if you compare the thumbnail for this video against the thumbnail fot your channel, you can really see how much isla has growed. bless
isla was so cute man is she getting big and she growing so fast😂😂❤❤
Wow the kids are getting so big. Time flies by so fast 😂
I love watching you a lot of changes in 70 years.😊❤🙏🙏 Your little daughter is growing up fast, she's a cutie.
Don’t ever apologize for having a great day! Glad to see great yields.
LOL, Isla is just adorable - she's been so quiet earlier this season I don't think I've seen her so animated.
Love this actor , farmer 😅😊
You get interweb fame, faithful pups, a wonderful family and you get to help your children grow up to be successful in whatever they pursue as well as be good citizens, neighbors, friends and family/significant others… sounds like a sweet life!
OMG, she is so adorable!
Can't wait to see how successful the children are going to be!❤
Too bad about the rain putting a damper on the day. Enjoying the video never boring. Your daughter is amazing.🇨🇦👍❤️
Even more entertaining when Isla comes on camera!
Have an awesomeness day Zack and family, and special "Hello to Becky" the wonderful editor, your doing a great job, just in case nobody ever tells you that.
Would love to see you record an uneventful day. I could watch harvest all day every day. I've been able to meet a lot of farmers in the area just by sitting on the side road watching them!
@TeLe-GrAm_Sir_MillennialFarmer No you don't
hey i am happy to see a video from you with no break downs for a change
Hoping Jim is doing well! Keep up all the good work! You’ve got such a great family I love it!
Ila made the video worth watching! Adorable!!!🎉
I love seeing the notification pop up on my iPad of a upload it literally cures my depression man god bless you and your family and keep making these videos and being you boss man
Ive been there
When your videos show no breakdowns I'm glad for you because it's hard enough just to make the end of harvest. No one needs the extra expense neither. Good video Zack. Say hello to Jim!
You should tell the grain dryer manufacturers to add an electronic brake function to the fans to minimize reverse startups!
Enjoying the harvest videos hope to see Jim back on the farm soon.
Your daughter is beautiful 😻 my little girl is 52 now they grow up fast! ❤
Congrats on the good harvest. I believe Ila when she says rain is coming!
Awesome news! We just got our first snow yesterday evening(Halloween) here in Pennsylvania
Thanks for the Ernest quote, made me laugh right away
Love how your daughter was just a baby eating cookies in your early videos and now she's so much bigger
It makes me sad lol
One of your best videos. So much going on. So proud of Onyx for helping out. And the girls are too sweet.
There are intensely limited numbers of people who are providing a service like you. Your rendition is so mature. Thanks for your messages.
The video ( thumbnail ) with you and Isla is cute and puts a smile on my face every time.
Eilla is growing up quickly. What a great girl she is. You both must be proud
Isla
4:17 lol the lens is clean on this side😊!
The content is great. Amazing how big the youngest is now...
Nice to hear you are getting some decent yields, hope it continues.
Your content is great; We love seeing what farmers have to go through. Thanks for taking us alone for the ride!
Here's a thought, have you ever thought of building a small metal gable type roof thing under your dryer so when the dust and stuff falls from inside the dryer to the ground it will slide off the little "metal roof" under the dryer and slide down to either side for easy clean up. You won't have to be bent over, going under the dryer with the shovel so get everything out. Just my idea but it would seem to make cleaning up somewhat easier. What's the saying? Work smarter, not harder. lol
Thanks for all the content, I never miss a single video, really enjoy your videos. Hope we see Jim back in action soon.
I was thinking the exact same, that must be one of the worst jobs on the farm, might aswell make it easier
Isla must have been standing out in the same paddock as the good corn. She's growing crazy fast.
She is soo cute!
Too fast...
She makes up for the uneventful day
We appreciate the appearance of a new model for the merch.
I thing Onyx is ready to go Racing ? And getting old enough to go chasing the girls too.👍 Nice to see Iyala in the video ( getting big ) Beautiful little lady. Just curious how is master pipe layer Randy ?
Zach great to see the kids spending time with you riding along & yes they are all growing up fast.
I have to ask.....where can i buy one of those FBN hoodie jackets?
Great to see the family out helping.
Congratulations on the great yield!
Zach, you better put the time in ; that kid is growing quickly. Thanks for the memories, continued safe harvest.
Your videos seem pretty clear, I’d open the new camera once harvest is finished
That was a good Ernest impression. Good job
if youre a blonde swiftie, you gotta buy one.. what a funny set of kids you guys have. you guys got that parenting thing down!
did i miss the one of J&M fixing the grain cart? Or what was finally done to it?
Thinking same thing
Yes its fixed now. I saw the video last week.
last video i saw of it was two days ago when it broke. talking about the lost bolt in the auger
@ronsayer8435 my mistake. 2 days ago it was broken and waiting on J&M to come. I guess those shafts welded themselves together for now
Great day to farm! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Good days are a joy to see as well as breaking down.😊😊😊
still checking in everyday enjoy the channel keep it up jared from Illinois
We are here with you boy 🙏 there's lights you'll be alright weare here watching you the TH-camr.❤😂🎉😢😮😅😊
Success depends on the actions or steps you take to achieve it. Building wealth involves developing good habits, such as regularly setting aside money for sound investments...
I am excited 😊 my life has totally changed. I have been benefiting $10,250 from my $4,000 investment every 14days
I invested with Ricky, i make about a 30,000USD every month.
i will praise Mr Ricky over and over again because he has great skills, i started with $2000 and after 2week i received a returns of $6,000 then i continue with him ever since he has been delivering.
I invested with Mr Ricky and lost my life savings, he absolutely ruined my life.
I enjoyed this video. Ila and your Dad make it good.
Was that the daughter that took the trip off the combine ladder to the earth a few years back??? If it is she has grown a bunch, I wish I had her energy!!
Come on Millennial Farmer! You’ve told us for the past three videos you would open up the new camera!
Boo fucking hoo!
yea he's string us along, like how he promises Anna a combine ride after 2M subscribers.
Must be his version of a cliffhanger - like the dust in his camera lens we are always in suspense
@@thuehl04 I know, exactly😂
He’s busy farming next. Leave him alone.
Nice family. Always fun to see your Kids. ;-)
Anna the Shepard & Dig are the fan fav!
I wish you Good Yeilds and more love for the years to come, I love this channel!!
Isla is amazing, she reminds us of our daughter at that age.
I'm just impressed with the no-look heater adjustment at 0:44
😂 that's funny but actually he was putting the pickup into park. That's a dodge so it has some stupid cheap dial shifter.
Good job guys and girls
Thank you and all you show that the American farmer does to provide food on our tables not just to be a TH-camr you are the real hero
What happened with the grain cart no video of them fixing it?
I was wondering the same thing.
Zach doesn't video mechanics fixing stuff
Thank you Zach for the video. Glad the corn is good.
Thx for farming with us!
We had another record yield this year in Central Iowa. We will gladly take that.
I thank you for your dedication to the farming world. You do awesome work regardless of problems. Keep family safe and loved.
Glad you're season is going well
congrats high corn yield Zach Johson
Zach, The Boy is just pointing out that your #1 Dad with him! Hay you farmed around.
I like how they say its bad to have corn in dog food, and yet your dogs eat it, and my dog does too. Whenever we feed the cows my dog always has to get some corn!
Some people can't process corn either, but it's damn good smothered in butter, so yeah... 🤷♂️
Researchers are finding out that the grain free dog food has a connection with cardio problems in dogs. I don't feed my dog food that has it listed high on the ingredient list, but my vet says it isn't an issue if it contains some corn or other grains. It is a source of quick energy for hunting dogs.
They don’t digest it. It comes back out the same shape it was ate as
Positive energy. 🖖
Dust on the camera is authentic. It makes me feel like I'm right there getting dusty to 😂😂😂
Thanks 👍
High powered farming is amazing with the tech and capacities just get bigger. Blood pressure going up too.
Nooo, high blood pressure is one heartbeat away from a heart attack. I would not wish it on anybody, especially farmers and ranchers, cause they feed the world...
I love the lights on the shop door when they open. Pretty handy
A wide spread soaking rain. Is something I have never heard from the weather band radio in southern Idaho. But it could happen. Maybe 1 in a million
Zach we got snow on the ground right now in southwestern Ontario lots of beans and pretty much all the corn we got a hope for a good November
Happy for you & your yield
Excellent farming as always!
Picked up a sweatshirt. Thanks
Well, Zach, you are really blessed. I’m sure that you know that. Commit these days to memory….. because they will never come again.
On the technical side, if you have a fan that runs backwards, and the motor is a PSC design, then try replacing the run capacitor that is often strapped to the motor.
12:20 A farm dad teaching his daughter the ways of the modern millennial farmer.
It's so touching! 😁
Zach, you have an amazing family!!! I’d love to hang out with y’all some time. ❤❤❤
