Abundance of stores...lol compared to what? Kind of like locals saying your winters are mild! lol Gambling...drunks..drug addicts and homeless getting worse. Truth...small town busy-bodies, cold AF weather with consistent high-winds. House pricing outrageous! Nothing shy of political debates amongst the locals, and small-minded people consume the area.

Visited Minden and it was a great place. Carson is more centrally located. Love the proximity to Tahoe. Now got to talk the wife into moving there.
