I am embarrassed to say that as an African American, I never knew Kenya or Africa had such nice developed cities. This looks better than many suburbs here. They don't show us this at all, we only see starving kids with flies around them. Guess someone didn't want us to know how beautiful and developed Kenya is.

Men Kenya is so beautiful, I’m from Ghana, but i don’t think the level of development here matches that of Kenya. The lushy greens surrounded by high-end estate is admirable. Who says there is only poverty in Africa, let them keep thinking we are poor whilst we slowly and quietly develop our continent and live in comfort and luxury.

I've come to appreciate the greenery in most of the areas in Nairobi after travelling around. Dubai and other countries would pay top dollar to have such greenery in their country. I've checked some videos of some African rich estates(read Nigeria) and the landscape leaves a lot to be desired. Wangari Maathai surely deserved that Nobel peace prize( first woman in Africa ).We should borrow from Rwanda and have a National cleaning day plus National plant a tree day. Our future generation will thank us.

    • @kimwang2787

Those months before we join Campo should be for cleaning the environment, each ward should have it's youth do this on a regular. And plant some few trees now and then.
By knowing what it takes to clean, we could raise a generation that knows better.

Sad thing some people who live in such places go to middle class areas like south b, disregard zoning laws and build ugly Appartments next to someone’s house. We need a child housing law that says you can’t build more than 2/3rd of the plot and you absolutely need to have trees in your compound, whether it’s in Githurai or syokimau. We have such a beautiful country but we me mess it up. Great job with the videos

But on the flip side I strongly believe we need to amend our laws about developments of real estates; by specifying which are the areas and proper land use to that effect. Am foreseeing a time where our population will be exponentially high and we will have occupied all the fertile and arable land supposed for growth of food for sustainability n prosperity.
