Wordy and hard to read, is the phrasing. I wish some of the articles I have to read for school used Grammarly. I have ADHD, if it looks too long I just think that I can't read it and give up. I have 20 missing assignments and I'm gonna work in fast food, lol. This pandemic killed my education.

Yeah but it’s the difference between “She threw the ball” and “The ball was thrown by her.” Active voice is clear and concise while passive voice sounds clunky and puts the direct object as the subject and the real subject in a prepositional phrase. Not sure why “[Name] will be forever missed” is passive voice, though. “Missed will be [name]” would be passive imo.
@@redskeletonart238 Since "missed" is the verb, active voice would be, We will miss him. With "He will be missed." we don't know who is doing the missing, so passive voice. It's not wrong but Grammarly always advises against it.
