Premier I really think is a great manufacturer. Their newer coasters are SO SMOOTH. Full Throttle today rides smoother than B&Ms a month in. Their launches can also be quite intense for LSMs so I have good faith in them. I do wish the trains were better but hopefully this will be incredible either way.
Full Throttle is HALF a coaster at best. Premier hasn't actually built a coaster I (or any other coaster enthusiast) would consider "world class" . This looks like the closest thing they have built to a world class ride.
I am so excited for this new roller coaster! As a local, your assessment that many locals have never experienced a roller coaster like this one is very astute! I think it's going to be very popular!
The amazing marketing team at Canada’s Wonderland need credit for keeping this thing very quiet and under wraps. Probably because of Grace Peacock, director of communications at the park who is excellent with social media and just giving us anticipation on what’s next but in a way that we may not be able to figure out.
This is exactly what Canada Wonderland needed, a launch coaster with multiple inversions and a pretty long layout with a ton of elements packed in. Sorry KD fans but this looks like a much better ride than Rapterra, no offense.
The only thing that sucks, the lines are going to be ridiculous. It can only get around 850 riders per hour, which is really bad for Wonderland. That’s about the same capacity as Maverick
As Wonderland is my home park I am beyond excited for this! I’m super impressed by what they’ve done given the extremely cramped plot of land. My only concern is how crowded that part of the park will become but I think having this calibre of attraction will help further disperse the crowds going to Leviathan and Yukon. I’m excited for the years to come!
I feel like they confused the coasters going to parks again. This should've been the volcano replacement. Similar to how I feel like they were supposed to remove vortex at carowinds and accidentally went to Kings Island instead 😆 but in all seriousness. This is a good coaster for them
“No one looks attractive getting in Premier trains” is an understatement I feel SO perceived every time I try and get under the comfort collars on Tempesto especially!

I'd have loved to see an Intamin or Vekoma (especially for what that would mean for the rest of the chain), but it's nice to see Premier back in the game with a full-scale launcher. Honestly, the two train operation really is the only perplexing choice about this ride. One or two train operations are acceptable when the park is practically dead and everything is nearly a walk-on, but roller coasters of that particular size in parks as big and popular as Canada’s Wonderland really shouldn’t operate with less than three trains during peak summer days.
This was completly unexpected for me, I never knew they had that chunks of land that could be used for a new coaster. I also created an analysis for it! And if steel curtain was still closed in 2025, this is the most inversions on an operational coaster in north america 😂😂

This definitely looks to be a great ride, and I hope they can mitigate the trains issue, because let me tell you how often I actually ride Ice Breaker and Tigris, even though I genuinely do like both rides.
KD is my home park and honestly Rapterra is what we needed, cause we already have a great top 2. I305 and TT are very intense rides, so im glad we're getting a medium intensity coaster to fill in the gap, I like the less intense rides more anyways. I would label myself as GP though. I honestly like that another park gets to have their own Volcano. I feel like if they were trying to out do Volcano at the same park people would complain for other reasons.
Exactly what I wished for (after we confirmed it was a Premier built attraction)… on paper, and well, on rendered film, this thing looks majestic. The theme, layout, inversions, speed, trains… like if there were a wish list, there would be a lot of checked boxes. Now, the big challenge is for Premier to shake the less than stellar reputation - for the more casual enthusiasts, they’re not as highly ranked or touted for ride build quality and dependability long term when compared to the B&Ms and Intamins of the world. At least from what we know today. If they can execute this as close to flawlessly as possible, and that means living up to the promise of the ride features and layout, and, most importantly, minimize any downtime or technical/build issues both short and long term. Not to mention provide a kickass on ride experience when riders can enjoy their entire encounter with it, and that begins from the queue until walking off, hopefully with a huge ass smile on their face. So far, so good Wonderland - so I’ll continue to temper my expectations, as at some glances and fleeting thoughts, my mind wants this to be in the realm of a Velocicoaster/toutatis, which is a pretty lofty and ambitious goal, and very unlikely, I know…but not from a theming perspective, that’s untouchable, we are an amusement park, and nothing we do will ever live up to the universal/Didney treatment, but this ride looks F’ING badass, and if it can further cement our little old park in Canada as a global leader and destination for thrill rides, I’m here for it --but ya’ll can enjoy it from afar. CW falls a little short on theming with its current lineup. Hopefully they can lean into it a bit more with the fire & ice on Alpen Fury. The fireball burst when the train comes out of the mountain (on the off-ride POV) may be an indication of stepping up the theming with this ride 🔥🔥🔥 Maybe? 🤷♂️ Hoping.
3:28 In my opinion, most of the layout flows beautifully and the sequence is satisfying. It's that very last inversion that feels like an add-on, like does it *have* to be there? Does it add anything to the ride? That would be the one I'd remove. If not for trying to go for a record, this would be valuable space for allowing a third or fourth train.

The ride looks awesome and its a great fit for the park. My concern with the ride is that Premier is the manufacturer. I still haven't ridden Icebreaker despite numerous trips to Seaworld, the same goes for Skyrocket II at Lake Compounce and SF Discovery Kingdom. the second the video started 🤣🤣🤣
Alpen Fury reminds me a lot of the Mr. Freeze clones at the Six Flags parks.
Seems like a great coaster for Wonderland! The wait times are going to be absolutely ridiculous though. That park is the busiest and has the worst crowds I’ve ever seen.
first sentence was exactly what i was thinking, cheers cw
I live near Canadas wonderland..I am pumped to get more giant coasters like behemoth and leviathon
Just wild they replaced volcano at friggin wonderland
Welcome back Volcano
GP’s are gonna go wild with this new coaster because of how many inversions it has
more like coaster enthusiasts
To be fair, we've already known that the ride would be made by Premier and that it would be a dual launch coaster for quite some time now, so that part of the new ride did get leaked. But other than that they've kept it very secret.
Awee LaRonde, my home park. It needs more love . I emailed the hq in Oklahoma about a few good ideas .
The ride looks awesome and its a great fit for the park. My concern with the ride is that Premier is the manufacturer. I have been to dozens of parks with Premier Rides coasters; however, I have only ridden a handful because of all the down time. I still haven't ridden Icebreaker despite numerous trips to Seaworld, the same goes for Skyrocket II at Lake Compounce and SF Discovery Kingdom. I finally managed to add Tempesto to my credit count back in June after 7 years of annual visits. Hopefully AlpenFury will be a different story.
you guys better be coming to wonderland thi summer, aka u taylor. i've mised u twice now bc of school. I WON'T MISS YAH THIS TIME LMAOO
This coaster would be a good reason for you to go back to canadas wonderland considering that you havent been there in awhile
I was over 240 n I had trouble getting into the space mountain rockets at DMK....so I spent almost a year getting down to around 170.
Nothing wrong with dialing it in so you can still get on...
congrats but nobody cares clearly neither of them are as big are you were. in fact i’d argue they are the same weight probably less than you are now. I’m pretty slim and tall and it’s still uncomfortable to me.but clearly u just wanted to brag about ur weight loss lmao
Was waiting for this vid
When I saw this i immediately thought this is something I would have built in no limits 2
Ah Taylor nice T-shirt. I assume you took the awesome mountain train there.
thanks! indeed we did!
Could someone tell me what the 7th and 8th inversions are they look like a heart line roll
they gave it a new name- looks like they are going with "ice winder roll".... but you are correct. Basically a heart line.
This Feels like a Punch to the face to Kings Dominion. Like this Coaster Looks so much better than a B&M Rattly wing coaster
That intro 🤣🤣
this straight out of nolimits2 and i LOVE this ride for it
Since this is a premier rides coaster, could we call this a skyrocket 4?
