i love this part from layzie "Who woulda thought that Lil Layzie and Twis Midwest Invasion woulda brought us to this Spit yo game talk yo shit you kno just who you fuckin with" ... obviously layzie was first to hook up with twista after the beef..with midwest invasion.. then krayzie bone biggie ft krayzie bone and twista - spit your game .. (the video is sick!) then bizzy bone with money ft twista. so glad they got together.
An even better track with Twista & Bone (specifically Krayzie) is Spit Yo Game by Notorious B.I.G. It was a posthumous record produced by Swizz Beats. The best version also features 8 Ball and MJG.
Mc ehit- Hood took me under, straight up menace Dj quik- Dollaz and sense Eazy e- Luv 4 dem gangstaz, still a nigga, nobody move, it's on, eastside drama, wut would u do, any last words, ole school sh*t. Bg knocc out and dresta- 50/50 luv, jealousy, d.p.g killa. Murder Squad- Knocc on wood.
I’ll give you some background info on this track. But first I wanna say you gotta react to a couple Crucial Conflict songs. It wasn’t just Twista & Do Or Die who beefed with Bone, there was a ton of Chicago artists who were beefing with Bone at that time. Twista, Do Or Die, and Crucial Conflict were the most prominent of them all. Those 3 were like the faces of the beef Chicago artists had with Bone. Crucial Conflict is part of that same circle of Chicago artists, like they were all peers to each other. So you should check out a couple Crucial Conflict songs as well. For me personally, Crucial Conflict is my 2nd favorite Rap group. Second only to Bone. Anyway... Also, you mentioned how you think Bizzy would have ripped this. Honestly, I personally don’t think he would have. At this point in Bone’s career they were only a trio. Twista had a line that sort of references Bone’s trio status. When he says “Now it’s Krayzie, Layzie, Wish and Twist in this bitch”. Flesh was in prison and Bizzy was no longer a member of the group. And the music Bizzy was doing around this time was more miss than hit. I love Bizzy to death but in this era, Bizzy was kinda slipping. The mid 00’s was sort of Bizzy’s lowest point. There’s a couple of lines in here that you probably aren’t aware are references to older stuff. At the end of Twista’s verse he says “when I told Mr. Ouija that I wanna know my future, he told me that it was us”. You haven’t reacted to it, but on Creepin On Ah Come Up they had the song Mr. Ouija, and on E. 1999 Eternal was Mr. Ouija 2. They’re not full songs but more like interludes. They rapped about Ouija board use on many occasions back then, and even later on in their career they made occasional callbacks to it. The Mr. Ouija songs were the song dedicated to that specifically. They sing _”Dear Mr. Ouija I want to know my future, will I die of murda? Of bloody murda? Come, come again”_ which is what Twista is referring to. It sort of funny to me considering that when they had beef and Twista made his Bone diss song “Crook County” he said “motherfuck a Ouija board”. And in Layzie’s verse he says “Who would have thought that little Layzie and Twist, Midwest invasion would have brought us to this, spit ya game talk ya shit, you know just who you fucking with”. Layzie went out to Chicago to meet up with Twista and squash the beef in person. Then Layzie and Twista commemorated squashing the beef by doing a song together called “Midwest Invasion”. Layzie was referencing that. He said the “spit ya game, talk ya shit” thing next. Obviously that’s originally from Notorious Thugs, but there was this Notorious BIG Duets album that came out where they made new songs out of older Biggie tracks and featured a lot of well known rappers. They had a song on it called “Spit Ya Game” which features Krayzie and Twista. Is actually suggest reacting to that ones. It’s got a music video because it was one of the singles they pushed.
See that's what 2pac was on and all about, that unity in his last days. He was putting out an One Nation Album from east to west, north and south of the real ones he recognized. You heard Lazy Bone shout out Makaveli in his verse.

100%. Flesh's skills go under the radar for some reason. I love all 5. Kray has always been my favorite, but Flesh is nasty on the mic.
