Bad Landscape Photography Days Aren’t Always Bad

- In this landscape photography vlog, things didn't go as I originally planned for but I decided to check out what I can photograph anyway and practice the art of showing up. I hike Hong Kong's highest mountain Tai Mo Shan in hopes of some incredible landscape views from the peak, but ended up having to adapt to the challenging photography conditions given.

loooooove everything about this! the storytelling, the shots, the grading! I even love the fog on the mountain peak, I think it looks so beautiful and moody.
taking the first step and go outside to create something beautiful is one of the hardest parts in my opinion. there's always not enough time or other things to do, so taking this one little step even though the conditions aren't good enough is one of the best feelings and I think your trip was definitely worth it

Yeah, maybe next time I’ll go directly to the falls instead of the peak and hike this trail in reverse 😁 I didn’t get to show the other parts of the falls as I lacked time already. Thanks Phil!

Sometimes the hardest part is actually going out. Especially when you already have that feeling it’s not going to be how you imagined.
Yeah, it’s always that first step that’s most difficult. Like in getting out really early for sunrise or in the middle of the dark for our astro chases. But once I do get out, there’s no stopping already. I never regretted being out to nature even if it’s not as I planned 😁
Yeah those cloudy hikes can be disappointing. Being english i know the feeling only too well. Would love to camp near those falls and dive in there first thing in the morning with nobody around 😍 the self-portrait looked good! Always worth the hike. Nice inspiring content dude 👏 good work
Haha yeah, don’t get me wrong, cloudy hikes can be awesome if you have a lot of woodlands 😂 but at that specific location, it was a challenge because they’re mostly a paved path up. I’m sure you’ll love having a dip there! 😁 thanks for watching dude.

I'm always scared bugs will crawl op my shorts if i don't ware long pants 😂 its indeed better to go out and come back empty handed than staying at home and do nothing productive. This is the truth. Showing up at the right place at the right time makes 80 percent of your images but he... you had FOG! 😅😅 I would have gone mad 😅 shame I can't visit you in 2 weeks it's just to expansive unforunatly. But some day..

Man, I’d be so interested to see how you will approach the peak with that thick fog 😂 I can appreciate it if the fog rolled down to the woods area, but it was so difficult finding shots on the paved road with not much to show 😅 no worries man, I’ll keep grinding on the videos and eventually I’m sure I can make my way to do something with you and other creators I enjoy following 😁
The misconception is that you must be motivated in order to get going. When in fact, you have to get going in order to give yourself the chance to feel motivated. Or in other words, get off your ass and do something! 😂
