When “Generation” first drop, many people actually talked about how catchy it is and the moment when WAVS (we don’t have a fandom name yet at the time) has to vote for the OT10 song, out of all the songs candidates, “Rising” gives off the TripleS vibe and WAVS voted it simply by having the “La La La” part in it. Ever since “Rising”, a TripleS song without the “La La La” part just doesn’t feel right.

For Girls Never Die, if I were to overanalyze pertaining to the members, there were a lot of instances where the members tried all over again. E.g. Yooyeon doing her SATs again and again for 3 times till she gets her college that she is satisfied, chaeyeon re debuting again, sohyun went back to mod haus again to debut with triple s and a lot of the members that were eliminated from audition programs are joining to make this one ultimate group, sort of trying again at making it as an Idol. Girls Never Die is such a great song, and seeing all the girls sing the encore live showed how much it really meant to them. It's so emotional and they deserve all the praise it's getting
girls never die made me a wav. i’ve always heard of them without getting into them. i love every and each of their title tracks. i hope they continue with the “lalala” sound bc it’s iconic and they can always make it different. if you played the “lalala” part in all of the songs with it i can always tell you what song it is. your explaining tripleS like a big sorority video really helped me get to know them because i felt the large number was daunting at first. now i love seeing each and every one of them succeed. they really remind me of a big family💗
I love this so much. I agree….the la la la is not a gimmick, it’s the TripleS war cry. After two years, TripleS and WAVS are only at the start line… how many groups debut their full group and already have 2 albums, 4 EP’s , and two singles under their belt? Also keep in mind how much we see the girls improve with every release…it’s crazy. So now is the perfect time to stan this group and hop on board now. They are popping up everywhere on TH-cam. Yes learning the members is daunting , but it’s a challenge that’s worth it. Just try to pick a bias line and learn them…then watch their content and slowly learn the rest. It’s not that difficult actually. Anyway this video was awesome and thanks for showing la la la love to TripleS.
You've knocked it out of the park once again! Another fantastic tripleS video summarizing one of greatest key, defining elements that makes tripleS...tripleS! Thanks again and looking forward to more videos!
this is, BY FAR, the BEST LALALA ANALYSIS I've seen on this app, as a WAV since S1, this video brought me tears... all the different LALALAs have for sure brought me through the hardships of life and thanks for making such an amazing analytic video that basically conveyed my feelings...
It's been so interesting watching the lalalas be present across the generations (no pun intended). I remember KARA with their lalalas, and Red Velvet with theirs, and I love to see tripleS with theirs now and in the future. I agree, they really have brought the lalalas a new message and given them a lot of emotion. I've watched tripleS grow from the beginning, and it's been awesome to watch them grow and be more comfortable with their identity as a group and with their sound. Also, Modhaus definitely needs to release Seoul Vice and Bionic Power, they were my favorite songs in the Gravity lol. Thanks for all the tripleS content you've made!
They perfected their "LALALA" motif in Girls Never Die? Yes, I absolutely agree! And the LALALA in GND hits so different, the MV itself as well. Like, the melody and the sombre tone of the MV have really stuck in me and made me go back again and again just to process it. I'm amazed how they were able to reinvent their same LALALA into something new and impactful so many times. I'm not a WAV but I'll surely be listening to these girls because I love their music and some of their b-sides are GOLDEN! I hope they continue rising!!! And this was such a good video! I love the detail and care you gave to analyzing the LALALA phenomenon while also explaining the themes that tripleS is touching on with their music. It made me like and respect the group and their creative director more for what they are doing.
From the editing to the way you speak and flow from topic to topic, this video was really well-organized! Maybe it's just because the air today is warm where I am, but it felt like I was going through a recap of tripleS' journey until now, and I finally shed a couple tears when the comments on GND came up on screen (reading through that comment section makes the song sound way more emotional haha)

Jaden Jeong is a brilliant producer
interesting concept for a video! Awesome job as always! I'm not into tripleS, but I do like that song girls never die. It was cool to hear about what goes on in the background with production to really make these songs as catchy as they are.
TripleS truly embodies the theme of, not just girlhood but also childhood, in the way that has been glossed over in the past. After watching the ARTMS interview with Jaden, I appreciate the fact that he isn't scared to be daring and challenge already explored themes on a deeper level. All TripleS are so good, but Girls Capitalism and Girls Never Die just hit different.
MODHAUS will be releasing a boy group soon. I wonder if Jayden Jeong might try to use the success of these "La la la" songs and make the boy group the "Na na na" group. Edit: I wrote this before Seoul Vice came on
Finally someone with amazing criteria about what represents tripleS and the journey and path they are building for generations of girls who dream not only to be an idol but also to reach their dreams in a society that tries to bring them down.

Just stumbled upon this on recommendation. You have probably the good quality of a video. Less drama, more chilled out vibe. You just got a new sub brother.
Even after the title tracks tho.. triples literally has lalala(or something similar) in almost every bside- the list goes (from my knowledge) Cry baby, seoul sonyo sound, black soul dress, chowall, moto princess, 24, and more and more prob
I've been replaying "Girls Never Die" since I came across it yesterday. I love the message and the flow of this song. Enjoy getting to know this very large group. I'm obsessed with their sound. 12:35 section Just made me teary eyed just now🥹 I'm a casual consumer of KPop, but I've been amazed at the high quality of music videos and storytelling. I love that they incorporate the fans decision. The choreography is also fun to see.
I want to add on to the fact that when they got their win with girls never die, a bunch of people’s in the audience showed annoyance and saltiness towards the girls. Yet, the girls still danced and sang and laughed on stage with talented and amazing live vocals during their encore. Idk about y’all, but that is a historic moment for me regarding triple s.
i was in it for the girls even before i knew what tripleS was. Generation felt like a revolution to me. While there was a wave of retro synth genre in the industry, generation was a splash of fresh water. i was sold. after a whole year and a half did i realized what a unique out of box concept was tripleS. I love them so much. I wanna continue listening to all the lalas with such an amazing theme and lyrics. deeply resonate with them. love them

i started getting into triple S when I first heard generation but i wasn't a sold completely on the group. However, RISING was the song that scratched my brain so good and it made me into a wav!! I absolutely loved their new album as well.
I've just been listening to triples just about a week after Girls Never Die came out, and I have listened to all of the music mentioned but never come to realise the "lalala" pattern until this video lol
i remember being obsessed with AAA's ep when generation dropped, but being too intimidated by the groups concept + projected size to keep up with them. literally a few days ago i checked out badge war s2 by complete chance, then checked out girls never die, and became truly obsessed. i learned all 24 members in 24hrs 😭😭 girls never die means so much to me as someone who has had depression most of their life. the mv is so moving. truly made me feel that theyre loona's spiritual successors 🫡

I love thoughtful kpop commentary and that's what this is! I really enjoyed this video essay, even as just a casual tripleS fan, and I’m excited to check out more of your videos. Keep it up!
Thank you for explaining this and spreading tripleS' message and concept as well ❤
I loved everything about this video! As a new WAV, I haven't seen the full progression of TripleS's backstory, so this was super illuminating. I love the direction they're going in, and I'll be sure to add my vote to future grand gravities ❤ also you are a great storyteller! I was captivated throughout ☺subscribed!
After watching this video, I listened to there song and man I was shook. This group is good and super under rated imo. The melody, the lyrics the performance, they all killed it. Watching them win on girls never die was so touching, they deserve all the great things in the world! So far my fav is girls capitalism! Thanks for showing them to me!
Beautiful video.. It will be fondly remembered and revisited for years to come. I am not even truly a WAV and I was moved. Thank you and good job :)
wow, i knew the lalalalas were special, but this video really made clear why. man every time i watch girls never die mv i start crying, idk how those lalalalas get me 😭
Just stumbled upon this on recommendation. You have probably the good quality of a video. Less drama, more chilled out vibe. You just got a new sub brother.
this video made me cry!!! something about the songs and how you explain them is so special. thanks for making this video
Even after the title tracks tho.. triples literally has lalala(or something similar) in almost every bside- the list goes (from my knowledge)
Cry baby, seoul sonyo sound, black soul dress, chowall, moto princess, 24, and more and more prob
No but they did it so well … That’s why it’s so iconic “ LALALALALA” 💗😭🎧
i don’t stan tripleS but their music got me through the loona inactivity i love them such talented girlssss
i lowkey want to stan them thoooooo i love their music so much
@@lily5458 if u need any help, this creator has a guide + badge war/signals are a great way to learn their names :)
@@lily5458 be careful, i thought loona would be my last group, but i think tripleS are undoing 7+ years of being an orbit and turning me into a wav
it’s like Aespa beginning all of their title tracks with the name of the song as first lyrics just so so cool
I love your videos! This is amazing!
We havent had a kpop channel that does narrative like you do, Ben.
The lalala’s in tripleS songs are just so catchy. I’ve been a fan since generation and I never thought how serious the lalalas were going to be.
Thank you for another well written and well produced video for tripleS, i enjoyed it a lot
i was in it for the girls even before i knew what tripleS was. Generation felt like a revolution to me. While there was a wave of retro synth genre in the industry, generation was a splash of fresh water. i was sold. after a whole year and a half did i realized what a unique out of box concept was tripleS. I love them so much. I wanna continue listening to all the lalas with such an amazing theme and lyrics. deeply resonate with them. love them
props to the producer, it was how the lalalas are layered, it just elevated their songs so good!
13:50 fr i new nothing about tripleS got the mv for gnd recommended on youtube watched it once and became a fan. the song is THAT good
Thanks for giving TripleS so much love
I voted for Rising to be their title song because I wanted them to be the "Lala" group in K-Pop... they succeeded
12:50 Damn. You've got me sobbing. I love this group ❤
i have only watched like two of your videos so far but honestly just the way you describe everything is so captivating and even as a wav since generation i think i learnt a lot that i didn’t know before watching !!
BABE WAKE UP BEN UPLOADED
i started getting into triple S when I first heard generation but i wasn't a sold completely on the group. However, RISING was the song that scratched my brain so good and it made me into a wav!! I absolutely loved their new album as well.
generation is absolute peak. genuinely one of my favourite kpop songs of all time
i love this so much 😭😭 and the outro being farewell my first too omg
girls never die will always bring me comfort
generation made me a wav and im so thankful that they're getting more famous, and i looove their lalala
THIS CHANNEL IS GOATED CERTIFIED
Yeah!!! You are an AWESOME WAV... Love your storytelling... Looking forward to the future of tripleS & WAVs.
I've just been listening to triples just about a week after Girls Never Die came out, and I have listened to all of the music mentioned but never come to realise the "lalala" pattern until this video lol
jaden jeong's ideas WILL NEVER DIE RAHHHHHHHHHH (jaden thank you for creating loona and tripleS)
great video for someone whos been watching them from far away!
the “lalalala” songs are so good
i remember being obsessed with AAA's ep when generation dropped, but being too intimidated by the groups concept + projected size to keep up with them. literally a few days ago i checked out badge war s2 by complete chance, then checked out girls never die, and became truly obsessed. i learned all 24 members in 24hrs 😭😭 girls never die means so much to me as someone who has had depression most of their life. the mv is so moving. truly made me feel that theyre loona's spiritual successors 🫡
thanks for all your hardwork....you also inspiring others by making incredible vids about our beloved group tripleS....keep on doing watcha doing bro 👏👍💪
ngl that GND section got me tearing up ❤
Girls Neve Die is the moment I started stanning as hard as I do right now. I fell down the greatest rabbit hole of KPOP with no regrets. Life has been great since Triple S coming into my life ❤
I can't wait for the next episode of badge war!!
Now that I have been educated, I am ready to hear all LALALAS with deeper appreciation ❤
Thank you for the explanation of the songs.
I guess I'm a WAV now. The group has always been so interesting to me and Girls Never Die sealed the deal.
I LOVE GENERATION since the first listen, but was still skeptical of the group, but what made me a WAV was Rising. From then on I was certain I was gonna stan this group and become a dedicated fan! Certainly 0 regrets on my part!❤
i've kept up with triples music since generation but girls never die was the final push that made me become a full stan (i cried when they got their first win with this song) 🥹 here's to more lalala's! ❤️
AAAAHHHHHH!!!!! I wanna cry. this is beautil. This is perfection.
i hope triples continues with their lalala signature for a long time
Rewatching this in 2025, and they've added "Choom" and "Eclair" to their LA LA LA playlist~~~~
It also showed how "Girls Never Die" became so iconic, it made tripleS win "Global Icon 2024" and had 2 remixes at MMA and Global Festival in Incheon.
Also... I can't wait what OT24 FIRST EVER COMEBACK will give us... I'm sure even if it's not in the TITLE TRACK, there will be a LA LA LA.
Talented group and talented producers!
the lalalas and daradadas and nananas are just that modhaus thing jaden jeong got tired of lyrics so he’s putting scat everywhere
this video was so good stop.
looking forward to more tripleS related videos ❤
I love it. It's a simple distinguisher.
