Nicely done sir..looks like brand new install! U should get into the polymeric jointing sand. It's the icing on the cake keeps weeds away and holds the brick together..also another way to charge more for a job ur already at
After this satisfying deep clean it would be good idea to brush in some polymeric sand into the joints, helps with weeds and keeping bricks together because that stuff practically turns into concrete once it gets wet and sets up
I like how you used the telescoping wand attached to the surface cleaner for improved stability. Was about to sell mine until I came across your video. A coat of Wet Look paver sealer would make those pavers stand out. Thanks for the video!
There is a special kind of treatment spray for pavement and even stone monuments to do as passive maintenance. It should be PH balanced, not acid like vinegar or alkaline like bleach, and no salts left behind to damage delicate concretes or mortars or stone. Use a mixer spray on the entire area, and light use of a broom or brush may be advisable to penetrate the liquid into any thick growth, and in about a week it looks good as new. Two competitors are called "Wet And Forget" advertised for driveways and sidewalks, etc. Another is called "d2bio" used on national monuments and national cemeteries, especially for sensitive marble.
Great job, I had a pressure washer catch on fire, nowadays I have a Fire Extinguisher next to the pressure washer, that would have saved me a total-loss if I'd done that before. Even at my age you can learn "stuff".

As someone who has issues with OCD, and alcohol... :) Need to plan a little better... Hose should be behind you, not in front... Work with it, not against it... A little more rinsing at the end too... Maybe a leaf blower to help dry... Just saying...
Great video and wow that does a pretty good job. I am sure you have shared the information in the past but can you tell me what type of pressure washer and attachments you have or at least point to the video where you mentioned it thanks.
Sure. It's a Dewalt 3000 psi pressure washer and that is a Karcher flat surface cleaner. The edge cleaner is an Edge Blaster and the spiral tip is a turbo tip.
Hello.. may I know what brand and type of pressure washer you used in this video? I've been trying to search on e-commerce but I dont see any types with round one.
It's original name was a "Giraffe" pole and it is made for screen cages and reaching 2nd story houses from the ground. It telescopes out to 3 times it's length. Amazon link is here - www.amazon.com/Pressure-85-206-424L-Telescoping-4-Stage-Length/dp/B0058JKPUI
The owners of the house should have waited until their neighbors were done building their house. That dirt and debris is just going to blow on that nice clean driveway. I love your channel by the way. I must have watched your weed trimming videos a whole bunch of times. Can you possibly do some more of those videos?

The pole is a pressure washer attachment. It's for cleaning pool cages. But it gives me a nice reach on the ground. Just look for telescoping pressure washer wands on Amazon and you'll see this yellow one.
Yes. It is a Dewalt 3000 psi pressure washer and the attachment is a Karcher flat surface cleaner. The long pole used to be called a Giraffe, but now it's just called an extension pole. I think these are thin pavers laid on concrete. They don't move at all. Not the regular bricks, but I could sweep in some sand if they like. It's just that there really aren't cracks for the sand to go down into.
What psi are you using? I keep reading 1500-2000 max or you could damage the pavers, but I also keep seeing videos like this were a surface cleaner like that must be a higher psi. I'm confused if you can help clear that up. Thanks!
It depends on the tip. This job was using a 3000 psi machine, but not a narrow tip. The narrower the tip the more damage you can cause. The flat surface cleaner has 2 tips in it spinning around and it's made for that. But if you were to use the 15 degree or the 0 degree tip, you'd dig right into the pavers. Use the wide tip or the turbo tip, and you're safe.
Actually having an extension like that may be a real wise decision to cover a lot more ground from one spot.. I know i said the opposite a month ago . but now i can see it ..
This was so cool to watch. Hubby & I were on our roof for 3 hours yesterday and only got 1/4 done. Do you use something in the red container to break down the buildup before washing? Do you mind saying what?
Oh that is just gas in the red container. It's there to run the pressure washer. I am just spraying plain water in this video but bleach would help. Some pressure washers have reservoirs for chemicals otherwise you just have to use a separate chemical injector inline on the hose. That's what I do sometimes.
@@aguyandhiscomputer I also bought a 2nd one, at $45 per can! I was annoyed once when the flip down spout broke clean off. But replacement spouts are easy to find.
I would have probably charged about $100. I did this for free for a good lawn service customer. I usually just guess on prices. If I weren't filming, I would have only been there about 2 hours. So, knowing how long these things take I guess I generally go by time.

Yea, trying out the sealing and re-sanding aspects now. Really something that every paver cleaning customer should agree to. But they don't.
I have a question. After making the pavers beautiful again...would you have to replace the sand to ensure the pavers don't move?
Yea, you're supposed to.
That's a common upcharge service, sanding and sealing.
