Hi friends, I hope you are all having a wonderful day! :) let me know if you have tried any of the new blushes. I love the two shades that I purchased and I can't wait to try the reformulated Dior Rouge blushes. They are still not available in Europe. xoxo
We can get them at Sephora. I really like the Rosewood on you with your top. You look lovely, as always. I don't understand this "building up blush" trend that I'm seeing on TH-cam. It isn't helpful. In fact, it clouds how blushes would really look for everyday wear. Please don't misunderstand. I am not criticizing you in particular. I saw a couple of influencers do it and said nothing, but you are very classic in your presentations. So it must have taken months for you to try this trend. I really hope it ends. I want to see a perfected application of products so I know how best to apply them myself. Thank you for the video and for your insights. 💚
@@DeborahCarlston Hi Deborah :) I can't speak for other influencers but I did that because when I review a blush I get a lot of comments of people asking me to build up the blushes so that they can see the color better and they can see how intense the color can get. I'm thinking that this is not a trend that influencers made but it's what viewers want to see. I really doubt that someone will go out with that much blush. But as content creators we always listen to what viewers ask and we do our best to be helpful :) So I think this might be the reason why everyone is building up the blush.
@@Frenchforaday Thank you for your gracious, and helpful reply. I have seen more and more of you on TH-cam doing this, and had no idea where it came from. Now I know. And thinking about it, I get to watch you on a bigger screen. But if people use their phones, a regular, wearable blush application would be hard to see. And you have thousands counting on your reviews. I really appreciate you taking the time to answer.💚
I'm fair & love Mahogany used with the right brush & a light hand. It has a beautiful cool rosey undertone that is quite unique. Rosewood was too warm for me & my favourite is still the pink.
I love these Dior Backstage Rosy Glow blushes on your skin. You wear them beautifully. The Sisley Rose Paris lipstick is perfect, & I love the way you applied the Sisley lip gloss on top of the color. I look forward to your reviews of the new YSL eyeshadows. Take good care, Angela! ❤
This is my all time favorite blush! I got the pink one about a year ago. I have very light skin and the blush does not look at all as it looks in the pan. It’s so much darker but beautiful. I am so glad the new formula is exactly the same!
Hi Angela! Both are fantastic shades, the pink is a great pick-me-up but the rosewood manages to sculpt effortlessly your face. I also love shades like rosewood on the eyes as it brings out any eyes colour, I enjoy those shades on my green eyes! Thank you again for a wonderful video and good evening!
I own the pink in the new formula and really love it. Totally looks natural and just adds healthy color. I definitely want to try other colors now. Great video
Hi Elizabeth :) Thank you so much for letting me know, I may try mahogany. It looks very interesting. I'm tempted by the deep berry but I'm afraid it might look bad on me. xoxo
Hello Angela, I love your peonies ! In my garden they are not yet in bloom, so I enjoy that you made such a lovely bouquet for us to see ! Your reviews are always so informative, thank you.
Angela, I picked up the Rosewood & Cherry blushes. I like them a lot! I also have the pink & orange the original blushes. They are pigmented and I see them more of a blush than the originals that change according to skintone. I love your peonies in the background!! 😊🌸
Both sides of the blushes look beautiful on you, Angela! I guess for now, since it is summer, the pink suits the season more. 💝💕 I know talc can be an ingredient not that welcome, but it does help with the pigment. I personally don’t mind, but I do need to add extra if I want more color payoff without talc. I was really happy to see that the new Dior formula works well on you! Thank you, thank you for what you do, Angela! Love the flowers, too. I hope Angela and all of you have a great day! 🌺💐🌸💕💝❤️🪸
Hi Christina :) That makes sense. I notice this effect mostly on the eyeshadows that don't contain talc. These blushes in particular feel the same on me. I don't need to build up the color. But the shimmery colors of the new YSL clutch palettes and Dior's eyeshadows definitely need more work to build up the color. Same as you I didn't mind the talc in powders. Sending you a virtual hug and a huge thank you for watching my videos. It means so much to me. xoxo
Dear Angela, you look so beautiful as always. I was waiting for this video. It helps me to make my purchase decisions and it is very much appreciated. Excellent review, thank you ❤
Hi Angela, thank you so much for this very detailed video on these blushes! With my fair skin and after also watching your video on the coral color I will definitely will buy the pink and the coral ones. They look amazing on you!
Hi Angela!! The Peonies are absoltely wonderful! I have very happy childhood memories of watching Peonies bloom in our yard at my grandmother's house!! ❤ For the Dior Backstage Blush, the original pink color is one I had seriously considered purchasing recently and wasn't completely sure whether I would like it, however, after seeing it on you it is so beautiful. a I do think this is a color I would love! You're right...I think this brightens your skin just a bit better than the color Rosewood, which is very natural looking but doesn't give the skin as much of a brightening glow. 😊
The blushes look stunning on you 😍🥰 I also prefer the pink one on you !I have the pink and peach the old formula I bought yesterday the cherry and rosewood. I like them both thank you for the tip with the powder I am dry I love verry Luminous foundation. And the pink one always looks so much darker on me then in the pan .I am gonna try the powder technique❤
Hi Angela ! Both blushes are gorgeous on you. I have the pink one ( old version) and I’m tempted by the rosewood one . The others shades won’t suit my fair rosy skin tone. Thank you Angela , love watching your videos as always. Have a great weekend! 💖
Thank you for the comparisons, Angela! And that's a really good tip about swatching on the arm, how it isn't an accurate depiction of the color. I tested the new Rosewood shade in Sephora but only on my arm, and I wonder how different it would be on my cheeks. I love the peonies, too :)
I purchased the rosewood and I love it. For me, I love the level of pigmentation. It’s perfect on my light/medium neutral slightly yellow leaning skin. I also find it lasts on my normal to dry leaning skin. And, it works on my eyes. I do not own the original formula so I can’t compare. Personally I’m very happy to add this blush to my blush wardrobe.
Thank you for the very detailed description and information on how these perform. I like the pink color. These sound very much like the Hourglass ambient lighting blushes - are you familiar with them? They also do not look great when swatched - very powdery. But when applied to the face, they are beautiful.
Hi Angela! I agree that the pink shade looks the most natural on you - the rosewood shade is less natural but it goes better with your dress. So glad that the new blush formula works as well as the previous one. Thank you for featuring Dior’s new talc-free eyeshadows - it seems the formula is not as good as the talc-based formula - but we have to get used to it. The YSL palette is so pretty - I look forward to seeing it on you in another video. Thanks again!
Haha, I wish I could send a bouquet of peonies to all of you 😘❤ Flowers always make me smile :) Have a great day, Brenda and thank you for watching my videos. I love seeing your comments. xoxo
You look so beautiful!! I am waiting for my order from the Dior page. I order three of the blushes. I really don’t need any more blushes but life is short so why not 😂😂😘😘😘
I love both the pink and the rosewood on you, thou I probably would get the former, since I already have the “old” formula coral one. Thanks for the exhaustive reviews. I heard controversial reviews on the new riformulate classic rouge talk free blushes. Have you tried them yet?
Thank you for telling us about your experiences with the blush colors. Does anyone know if the Armani Luminous Silk concealer was reformulated and if so how it is?
I have a the Dior blush in the shade 001 pink & wen I put it on it looks really light pink which I like bc my skin is pale,4example I wear the shade BD31 in all the Chanel foundations that I have..so I liked the Dior light pink shade wen I 1st applied it,but I had2 apply a couple laters 4 it2 show up enuf, but I'm not sure if I applied 2 much bc wen I looked in the mirror a couple hours later it looked much darker than it did wen I initially put it on so is that something 2 do with it changing with my particular skin tone or something I'm not sure so if any1 has advice that would n nice bc I'm not sure if I should apply much less bc it gets darker or not.
Oh that pink blush ... I remember it so well and I have a story with this one. I was still a university student and had to buy a book for one of my exams. Instead I went to buy that blush and a backstage eyeshadow palette; missed my lectures at the university that day but then I got the book second hand for a fraction of the price. I was so proud of myself haha. I had to declutter this same blush and the palette a few years ago when we moved apartment. I think that fist blush with the brush was the best. Do you remember Dior used to add little kabuki brushes to their highlighters? Now this is what I call real luxury. I still have some of those kabuki brushes.
When I see your face I always think you look like what I think the Mother of Christ would look like. You are so beautiful. The pink is lovely with your complexion!!! Dot
The comparisons on the face are way different saturations. For the amount of money they charged I want better pigmented products that will last longer. What is the safe amount of time to keep these blushes now. Clean beauty is not clean. Better preservatives keep the longevity of a product and keep bacteria away from it.
It wasn’t popular because of TikTok at all. we Americans have been using these brushes for years and years and they’ve been incredibly popular for years and years, so you’re really wrong on this account.

Mission accomplished Angela! The peonies do indeed make me smile & you are as beautiful as the peonies ❤
Awww thank you so much, Roberta :) Have a wonderful day! xoxo
Like the new colors they come out with. I have the pink 001 and looking forward to buying rosewood and the coral one. Thank you for your videos !😊
I wear Mahogany and berry and I’m as fair as you. Looks awesome on me with a light hand!
Hi Elizabeth :) Thank you so much for letting me know, I may try mahogany. It looks very interesting. I'm tempted by the deep berry but I'm afraid it might look bad on me. xoxo
I adore berry blushes on my fair skin.
Like both on your skin with one application, especially the rosewood.

I really appreciate the thorough explanation regarding the application of this blush. :)
These look gorgeous on, pink is definitely your shade though! So pretty on you

Hi! Can you, please, tell if blush is’t orange? I’m very pale and I’m afraid I would have brick cheeks 😊
Thank you ❤
Can you do a house/apartment tour please :) I would love to see your closet and makeup collection.
I have the original rosy glow blush in the original packaging, with the mirror inside and the brush.

Do you have an olive skin tone?
Hello, I have fair neutral skin tone and in the late summer when I tan I get slightly olive undertones. xoxo
What is that beautiful nail varnish you are wearing?
Hi Andrea :) This is Chanel Diva 143. Thank you for watching. xoxo
💜💜💖
I still have the pink one from before , when they had a brush in it. I feel like dinosaur 🦕 😢.
Oh that pink blush ... I remember it so well and I have a story with this one. I was still a university student and had to buy a book for one of my exams. Yes, me too!
When I see your face I always think you look like what I think the Mother of Christ would look like. You are so beautiful. The pink is lovely with your complexion!!! Dot
I prefer the pink side. The colour on your right cheek looks too red, from what I can tell.
Hi Rhonda, I feel the same way. I prefer the pink blush. I have to be light handed with rosewood. xoxo
