im a knitter and i do that too, so when i finished my first crochet project i also just tied it and cut a knot but it looked different since when i knit i usually sew it together so it gets hidden 😭
for example you made a top and then you cut the loose yarn off and after a couple of wears, you wash your top. during the wash the knot can untie and undo your work. that’s why i either tie an unhealthy amount of knots or just weave in the loose yarn (much neater). trust me, i know this from experience aha
You know what would be awesome..if you took a bunch of those tiny squares and then combined them together to make a rlly cool patterned bag or blanket(kinda like a quilt) maybe it’s just me, but I think so😃
Love this video. 😊 We need more videos showing weaving in the tails! People make videos and by the end boom they show this beautiful finished product, but regret to inform they spent 30 minutes weaving in a billion tails!!!
Yeah man, using needles to weave is way easier. I first got darning needles but then got tapestry needles so I'd have a bigger eye for the yarn. So good 👍😊 Thank you for sharing and helping people 😊
The way you tied it is so much easier than what I’ve been doing. Same way just such a smoother motion. One fluid motion instead of making it a knot the basic way. Thank you!
I am 11 and I really want to learn crochet but all the videos I see are really confusing and I have to watch them in 0.75x speed lol. I’ve just learnt to do a circle and a magic ring but not I need to cast off, so thanks for helping!
I noticed you used your hook to weave in your tails. I do the same, using a smaller size hook, saves time and I always weave in as I go through a project so the yarn is crocheted over. It won’t go anywhere if you do that. Far better than getting to the end of a project and sitting for hours weaving in tails!!! I’ve seen many folk finish a project but never getting around to weaving in their tails making them have many ufo’s because of that last step. Weave and go, your project takes a Labour of love, finish it!!

What I like to do is chain 1, cut the end and pull the hook until the yarn pulls through and tighten it up. It's essentially the same but different ways of doing it
I've been crocheting for almost a year now I did not know you're supposed to end like this like i was so confused why does my projects keep unravelling 😢 anyways thank you so much for this
Easier Way (same results): 1: one single crochet stitch 2:cut the yarn (while the hook is still in) 3: pull the hook away from the project without removing it
I'm starting a new live series called "Monday Crochet" where every Monday we crochet together on live stream until the temperature blanket is done! I hope you can make it :) th-cam.com/video/8pBwQlJBJH0/w-d-xo.html
TYSM I loveee ur yt channel it's helped me SOOOOO much 😅 like I was ur yt short on his room make a blanket BOOM it worked (I am making it rn it's nearly done lol) I subscribed! I luv u ❤!
That you so much!! I just finished my first ever crochet practice thingy and I had no idea how to tie it off 😂😅 Edit: I just finished the first part of a new project and it turned out so well!! You are such a good teacher 😂❤
I love this. When I started knitting 10 years ago every single time I would try to look up a video on how to weave in the ends it would just be some bitch telling me "and then you just weave them in". No demonstration. No nothing. Lol i was like PLEASE JUST TELL ME THE KRABBY PATTY FORMULA. I had to guess. And i learned to knit from youtube. So the fact they they never included that part bugged me so bad.
Bro I didn't know you had to weave the loose yarn into the project, I just tied a knot and cut it off 💀

Knot n then weave for extra safety
Me to i thought I was the only one who did it
Same 😂

Yeah a lot of people do that if you search it up you’ll find lots!! 😄😄
J
She's actually making a sweater with a bunch of squares! There's a short somewhere about it...
Search up granny squares. They’re squares with cool patterns that you see together
😑

I can't thank this lady enough!

Can you please show us how you weave it through
Right, ! I only know how to get the string prepared before I weave, but I didn’t actually learn how to weave it
@@kailove8767 you basically just push it through holes until it feels like it won’t fall out!
Weave back and forth through/in stitches next to where the string is until the string is gone.
@@werethenowgeneration Thank you!
@@ellamoffett5833Sometimes I will splice the yarn when I weave because it adds a little more strength before I cut the yarn
OMG THIS HELPED ME SO MUCH I WAS VERY CONFUSED AND I COULD NOT GET ANY OF MY PROJECTS FINISHED BUT YOU CLEARED EVERYTHING UP THANK YOUUUU!!!!❤❤❤
Your video was the easiest and best to follow, thank you!!!
Thank you for mentioning the UK way of saying it. So many people ignore it
You made this so easy that I could actually understand it! Thank you!!
Thanks so much! I've been wanting to start crocheting so these videos are great cuz I have no idea what I'm doing!
It helped me sooooo much and I am a beginner so THANK YOU
Me too!!
Me too!
I’ve been tying 2 knots then cutting the tail..LOL. the lazy, beginner way.
so thanks for this!!

@@gachalou405No, not really.
Noice
I didn't know you were a singer! You have a very pretty voice!
Can you please show us how to attach two parts together??
Thank you so much that was so helpful and I even got to make a pickle for my big sister's birthday even though I couldn't end it so thank you so much
What I like to do is chain 1, cut the end and pull the hook until the yarn pulls through and tighten it up. It's essentially the same but different ways of doing it
You made that look so easy! Thanks 😊
I usually cut the yarn with my hook still in and just pull up, basically does the same thing but gives a smaller tail :)
I love little swatches! ❤❤
Thank you so much! This really helped me😊❤
I mean three perfect coasters thank you for teaching me
THANK YOU I was like going to continue my scarf in weird ways cause I thought i had to do it in a certain way 😂

Thank you SO much!! This is a struggle for a beginner crocheter like me😅

I've been crocheting for almost a year now I did not know you're supposed to end like this like i was so confused why does my projects keep unravelling 😢 anyways thank you so much for this
You have helped me soooo much!!!! Tysm!
Thank you so much!! Now I can teach my 7 year old sister this she’s been wanting to crochet for a long time
You can also burn the ends if it is a synthetic material haha, smells kinda iffy at first but is very secure!
Wow thank you so much❤😅 this was so helpful 😊😅
Thank you!!! This was soooo easy to understand
Im learning to crochet currently and this helped a lot thank you❤
THANK YOU FOR ALWAYS MAKING IT UNDERSTANDABLE 😂🙌🙌
That’s wayyy easier than knitting 🧶
You could also cut it and make the loop really big by pulling back and then it’s finished too
Thank you so much for the help!!! I just finished one side of my crochet top and didn’t understand how to crochet off 😂. This helped me a lot
Very helpful - thank you!
Ya ben sana bayıldım sen nasıl bi tatlısın

Slowing down that weaving part would have probably made sense. Because that seems like the more complicated part😂😂😂😂😂but ok
Hope you do some videos on the temperature blanket soon, I miss getting the updates.

Just to let you know I'm from the UK and been crocheting for 12 years. Its still classed as a single crochet.
It depends.

I’d be soo happy if u can show us how to make a sweater
Another way to end it is by cutting the string that’s connected to the ball and the pulling the hook through
That you so much!! I just finished my first ever crochet practice thingy and I had no idea how to tie it off 😂😅
Edit: I just finished the first part of a new project and it turned out so well!! You are such a good teacher 😂❤

Thank you
Well look at that, im about to finish a project and i was wondering what to do
You style in explaination is very simple, could you please start videos for beginners?.
Thank you!
Savior! Ty ty!!!
Tip: if you don’t have darning needles, you can use Bobby pins 😊
that is GENIUS tysm
I’ve just been cutting the ends 😂
i didn’t know u had to pull the string into the loop, all i did was cut and pull and then when i cut it off my project would unravel.
Tysm
NO ITS THAT EASY 😮
thank you so much!!!!!
I know to weave the ends but it is better that you share the tutorial of it
Tysm!
TYSSSM!!!
You can also chain one cut it then pull it threw the chain

I watch so many tutorials but can you explain everything like: how to yarns over and which stitch to insert it in?
