YES!!!!! I need this for my tremor!!! Great job bro just watched your vid build all over again last night hahaha
Awesome truck and mod!
Imma need one of those hats.
We need a dyno video!!
Heard that BOV flutter too. 🙂
If I do the Whipple upgrade on my Cayenne will it also disable the auto engine start stop ?
What’s the gains supposed to be on the 23.
Great video! Any insight as to returning the truck back to stock tune for warranty work? How easy is it to swap back and forth? Any chance you did a draggy run to see how much faster it made the truck?
If you want to keep warranty keep it stock. I have this on all my EcoBoost engines since 2018 and have no issues.
Can you believe people still argue that high octane fuel doesn’t give you more hp and your vehicle just runs better.I run 94 in my 23 power boost
I know right 🤦🏻♂️
Technically, high octane fuel doesn’t “give you” more hp. 87, 91, 93 all have the same amount of energy per give volume, provided that are all just gasoline and not ethanol(which is less energy). Octane is a rating defining how well the fuel resists premature combustion. Really it’s the more aggressive timing, and/or increased boost pressures that create the additional hp.
omg shut up@@MRTEE-sy7sb
It doesn't. Higher octane fuel simply resists premature combustion, allowing engines to run higher compression, and more timing, thus creating more power. The fuel itself, doesnt give power.
The last two people commenting are being completely ridiculous. Yes, we understand higher octane allows timing advance which in turn......
Adds MORE power. Like, who gives a shit what the ultimate mechanism of action is. Higher octane allows an engine to create more power. Doesn't matter if it's the fuel itself, or just the timing advance.
this is really confusing me, iv only seen tuner say they cant tune these without replacing the ECM.
This is a whipple EcoBoost upgrade and comes with a tune
@L8R-HP yeah I checked the website I just wonder why whipple is able to tune but company's like livernois requires you to purchase a different ecm. I mean it's good because instead of 2k to tune it's only 1k.
@@murphygaven1 whipple is a production level company and has a great relationship with ford
I have a 2023 Australian spec Lariat ecoboost and was of the understanding that the extra encryptions ford placed in the pcm made it untuneable, so this is great!
Now it’s a few months on, how’s the performance and the tune?
Performance is great. Shifting is so much better 💪
@@L8R-HP thank you so much for making this, I nearly went down the JB4 route, but I’ve just ordered the Whipple tuner module with express delivery to Australia, can’t wait! 💪🏻🇺🇸🇦🇺🏁
@@ScottiPewPew nice! 💪
I just received my tomahawk and sent off my stock file to Whipple.
Two questions if I may?
1) where do I read up about having to gap my plugs? (I could not order the intercooler and CAI, whipple wont ship such bulky items to Australia).
2) can you put the tune back to stock if needed?

What model year is this? Must be a '22 or earlier or did they unlock the 23 ECU?
He said it was a 23
It’s a 23. Whipple tuned
All the tuners said they can’t mess with the 23 ecms?
Idk about other tuners. But whipple kits are available with a tune
Can you do this on a 2.7 ecoboost
Yes
How does this upgrade affects fuel economy?
Better with normal driving
Just my opinion but why buy a tremor and ruin it by putting street tires on it? It’s made for off road not really seeing the point on the stance. Cool whipple though
It’s mostly highway driven. Still have stock wheels and tires for off road
Why do you care what other people do with their MONEY AND TRUCK? Most people don't take their vehicles off road that much especially a F150 lets be honest.
Warranty compliance?
If you want warranty leave it stock.
If you want to have more power and better shifting and extend your engine life get a whipple upgrade
do they offer this for the 2.7 L eco-boost
Depends what year
Idol ,,,,I am a auto electrician i want to jpin your TEAM if it is okay...
Are you in NC?
Street tires on a tremor?
Yes. Michelins on 20” ford performance wheels
