Welcome home, Sarah. Thank you for sharing your amazing holiday in Germany. Such beautiful incense burners, I've never seen anything like them. Your heart daughter is incredibly talented. Great haul from the retreat.
Wonderful video! Your trip to Germany sounds so great but exhausting. Coming home to a retreat was the icing on the cake! I can’t believe that you had any energy to even do a video. Love all of your show & tell from the trip and retreat. How lucky to win such a wonderful stitched piece, so exciting! Take care!
Sounds like you had an amazing time in Germany, you are such a friendly and funny lady. Your mom is an angel to take him in and give you a brother, he is handsome, the driving in the US is Willy nilly, oh my your daughter is very talented, she follows in your shoes. Love the smoking guy what a hoot, the finished stitched design is lovely how sweet she gave it away. The moose cup is funny, love the new stash, great prices on the fabric, I love the older design’s not all but many. Beautiful bag, I also follow Helen D, love her, you are so lucky, June is kind to give away the bag and goodies.
We’re so lucky to have met and continue to meet such amazing people. Part of my heart will always be in Germany.🇩🇪❤️our next trip will have to be for longer.
Loved the video and all your treasures you brought home. Loved seeing Germany. I lived in Fulda Germany for seven months while my husband was stationed there while in the Army many years ago. Beautiful country and wonderful people.
Not sure I’ve ever been through Fulda but sure hope you saw lots of things while there❤️Thuringia Forest? Ever make it to Dresden? Erfurt? So many wonderful places to visit there especially the Christmas markets. I feel in love with Frohnau this trip. Such a great area with so much within walking distance. Wouldn’t be far from our heart child either. 🤗
@@Sarahthenorthwoodsstitcher. We were there in 1967 when there was still an East West German border. I was so happy to see the beautiful parts of Germany that I did when we were there. Fulda was right on the border of East West Germany. We have pictures of the East German guards that were guarding the border crossing back then.
Welcome back!! Thanks for the videos you did for your time away - kept me from having Sarah withdrawal on Monday mornings😊. Enjoyed all your pictures and hearing about your retreat. You are probably ready for some down time!!
Germany sounded like a lot of fun love the wooden man and house, your retreat sounded fun as well, gosh you must of been exhausted after your travels and then straight into a retreat👍🪡 have a good week Thankyou for sharing 🇳🇿❤️🪡
Fun video! Yikes…when you showed your pattern picture for the Primrose Cottage Spring Quaker, I had just pulled it out to stitch on at the exact same timeu. That was weird!! Glad you had a great time in Germany. Enjoyed the pictures you shared.
Glad your trip to Germany was wonderful! Thanks for sharing your experiences there. I Also enjoyed viewing the “ Goodies” from your Retreat! I loved that seaside project bag too. Have a Great stitchy week ahead! Cheers! 👋🧑🏻🦰🇨🇦
Hi Sarah, I was so glad to hear that Your trip to Germany was so wonderful!!! I love the little smoking house and man so much. You are such a wonderful enabler!! I think that I will have to find one or two of those little jewels. The haul from Lakeside Retreat was wonderful, but no matter how intriguing that HUGE pattern is or how lovely it is, I would never, ever try so much that big. The best of luck too You. I will watch Your progress and cheer You on as I am sure that You will finish it eventually..BTW, how big piece of fabric will it take in 18 count Aida??? Welcome home, I will be watching for even more on the Germany trip and the Retreat. What kind of smalls exchange did You take??? Take care and be safe. Happy stitching, Linda
Hi Linda! Still reeling from filling our hearts 💕 n Germany 🇩🇪! Nothing like a visit and hug to make loved ones feel closer. Have to look 👀 n my fabric stash but now I’m afraid to find out just how big that fabric will be! Doubt I have anything that size. Come to think of it, perhaps it would be smart to make working copies and put it all in a binder. Stay tuned!
I took a Christmas ornament that I stitched for the smalls exchange. Unfortunately I didn’t keep a photo but I know it’s one I have as well. I like to make two of each when doing an ornament.❤️
Welcome back. So appreciate you thinking of us while you were gone!! Can’t wait till next video!!

☺️ Thank you. Glad you liked it
Sounds like your trip was amazing!
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼Definitely ❤️
Yes, you may need 3 skins for the spring quaker! I used 3 skins of another overdyed variegated floss to complete the pattern. Fun stitch!
Awesome video! So enjoyed hearing about your adventures. Have a wonderful rest of the week and Happy Memorial Day! 🙏🙏🙏
Sounds like you had a great time. My mother was German, I once went to Berlin and had my purse stolen as soon as I arrived in Berlin station x
Wow! What a horrible experience! 😢I’ve only had the most amazing times while there.
