I honestly feel like ppl just forgot how season 1 was and just jumped on the bandwagon of “season 2 is trash” no matter what. The art style is INFINITELY better than season 1, and the animation for ep 11-14 was better than ANY season 1 episode.. AND various moments in ep 1-11 topped anything in season 1…

Also for the "ep 11-14" you're right, it was a lot better and your point on the quality of the art work is 100% correct. The art style was in fact infinitely better than season 1. The thing is, what's the point of a football anime, if there is no fluidity. If they had actually lowered the degree of the art style and given more movement and fluidity, it would have been first class. In my opinion, movement is all that matters when I'm trying to watch an adaptation of a football manga, that's what I signed up for.

You didn’t have to cut short the celebration scenes. If it was volley or basketball it would be accurate, since it doesn’t give much time to celebrate. But in soccer it takes so long for a goal to happen that a 30 seconds or even a minute long celebration is pretty normal. The episode itself didn’t make them long, true, but Nagi, Shidou, Barou’s celebration could have lasted just a little longer. Other than that, you did an excellent editing job. I was waiting for a video like this in a while. Thank you!
