In the original 6 part Incredible Hulk comics, apparently, they had problems with printing green if memory serves and used grey instead. During Peter David's run, he turned Bruce Banner into someone with a personality disorder. The Gray Hulk (Joe Fixit), was the smart/clever/angry personality. "Joe Fixit" is a name he gave himself when he became an enforcer for a Las Vegas casino owner. During this time, I believe the moon brought about the change from Bruce Banner to the Gray Hulk.
Hulk was originally grey, but when the printer couldn't keep the color consistent, Stan just changed it to green for the IRL reason. Marvel has brought Grey Hulk back now and again for various stories. He's usually more intelligent in this form - hence the snappy clothes and job as a casino bouncer - but is sometimes limited by only Hulking out at night, sorta' werewolf-style
To add-on to this. Banner has made numerous attempts to cure himself of being the Hulk and has also experienced others trying to cure him. After another gamma bomb went off in Nevada it caused Banner to revert back turning grey at night with smarter and more cunning personality than his green persona. He started working as a bouncer and body guard in Vegas and took on the title Mr. Fixit. Also at this time Logan and several other X-Men who were believed to be dead started new lives, but thanks to an enchantment they could not be seen on video or recognized by former acquaintances. Logan moves to Madripoor, becomes co-opener of a bar and adopts the name Patch. Eventually Fixit comes to Madripoor for his boss and Patch tricks and pranks him the whole time since Fixit does not recognize him. Patch uses smarts instead of his claws leaving Fixit confused and suspicious.
Btw those trigger finger hands are the same ones that came with last year's Joe Fixit that came with a Tommy Gun..im assuming so that you can use the gun with this Joe Fixit as well

Joe Fixit was an alias Grey Hulk used to stay incognito in Las Vegas, while moonlighting (literally) as a bodyguard for a mafia boss. The weakness of Grey Hulk was that he - like a werewolf - he lost much his power in the daylight, even transforming back into Banner frequently at sunrise. That motif is also a nod to The Incredible Hulk #1 (1962). In that comic Banner doesn't change under stress but at night. Anyway, Things came to a head towards the end of the run, as Grey Hulk stumbles into Betty Ross, his love. This puts Joe Fixit's life in disarray, and brings back the Green Hulk persona. Evenutally the two duke it out in the mind of Bruce Banner. Some of the highlights of Hulk stories during this time was Hulk #340 (art by McFarlane, writing by Peter david) where Grey Hulk fights Wolvie, Hulk #364-367 "Countdown" arc, including Dale Keown's first Hulk art, and #372-377 The merged Hulk saga. Sidenote: the inspiration for the two pack is the front cover of Wolverine #8 (June 1989) with art by John Buscema (conan) and writing by Mr. xmen himself, Chris Claremont. Wolverine is dressed as "Patch", his alias whenever he is doing business in the fictional Southeast Asia nation of "Madripoor."
The "grab hand" is a trigger hand, the second we've gotten since the Walmart exclusive Joe Fixit from last year who came with an unrealistically large Tommy Gun.
You should consider replacing the claws with the metal ones available at Can Of Beams..i guarantee that you'll want to use them on all your Wolverine figures

Well, while Hulk briefly started as gray, the Savage green Hulk was eventually attacked with a second Gamma bomb and that turned Hulk gray for a long while I the late 1980s. Gray Hulk was a little smaller but smarter and more cunning. He also transformed back into Banner only during the day. While the military believed he was dead, Hulk assumed the identity of Joe Fixit and went to work as a mob enforcer. He also drugged himself so that Banner would stay unconscious and not mess up his plans. At this time, the world also believed the X-men had died sacrificing themselves in Dallas. While the X-MEN began operating covertly from an abandoned town in Australia, Logan started taking time away in Madripoor and assumed the covert identity of Patch, co-owner of the Princess bar. Think Rick's American cafe in the film Casablanca. A criminal acquaintance of Patch's had hired Joe Fixit to solve a problem for him and wanted Patch to show him around. Based on his scent, Wolverine, of course, knew that Fixit was the Hulk and manipulated him into solving the problem to Patch's satisfaction while covertly pranking and messing with Fixit the entire time.

hulk was originally purple it looks grey but its supposed to be a light light purple
