I said the same thing. Comparing the stock photos that came out when the collector's edition was announced to the actual statue itself, that was the only detail I wasn't fond of. That being said, Sephy is my favorite FF villain and I absolutely love my statue.

Unfortunately it didn't. Since it was PS5 exclusive and there is still limited amount of places to buy a PS5. Most of the PS5 Digital and Physical types are 50% more expensive than retail price in different states. There are also issues with the Digital version where your Save File is somewhat deleted. No power outage or out of memory, just gone. You kept the trophy but all your files are gone. Most players went for Refund then because of it.

And for the bug, that's another lie, "most player went for a refund", again, source? That's literraly bullshit. I have both the digital version(to play first), and later on the physical, and it went without any issues. There's only one bug that's popular, and it's regarding a quest which has been patched.
I hope for 6 remake, we got like another 4~5 years for the last remake of VII, and after that if they go for VIII it would taker another 5 years for a remake of the same caliber

The statue is a total mixed bag. Let’s get the good out of the way first: - The body work is excellent. his armor looks great. His boots, coat, gloves all look good. - The wing looks very nice. - The concrete block he is standing on looks solid (no pun intended). - The paint work is really good from what I can tell. That glow from the flames, spreading across his body, wing and sword really nails what they were going for. Now for the BAD: - The face sculpt is VERY Sub-Par. That hardly even looks like him. That face sculpt is no better than the face sculpts we get from PAK (which are terrible now). If you removed Seph’s hair, the face would just look like “Generic Action Figure”. 4/10 for the face. - The Flames look terrible. It looks like big globs of hardened jello. An even worse 3/10 for the flames. Overall. I would give this statue a 5/10. The paint and body work really do it justice. But if you don’t nail the face sculpt, you kill the figure. The first sign of cheapness is always with the base of a statue and this one is definitely CHEAP, just like the FF XVI statue (That thing was even worse). It was nice seeing you open the Remake Collectors edition (Soldier 1st Class). I still have mine sealed up on my shelf.
I bought this edition and I'm not gonna lie, I think it's way overpriced. I got the Last of Us 2 with the figure and that thing has weight to it. It feels much more premium.

Geez, mine arrived and it was snapped in half at the waist! But thankfully it seems manageable. There’s a hollow cavity where the body and waist connect. So I just gotta find some material and wedge it in both ends and use some super glue for extra measure. The rest of the statue is perfectly fine but even so this was a bit of a letdown to an epic unboxing.
I'm not sure if it's a defect on my statue. The pegs on Sephiroth's feet don't align with the base at all. I feel like I'm going to break the legs if I force the pegs to align which are really far apart. So a warning to anyone who wants the statue. Disappointing to say the least for how much it is.
As a chef and a 90’s FF fangirl, I just adoooore that that knife looks like a tiny buster sword~ A buster knife? 😂 Now, I’m picturing a Tonberry with that knife…or Clouds “Frog Form” from ReBirth…😂❤ I loved seeing the knife smiths at work, masterful skills. Japanese knives are so beautiful (and expensive). I personally only got the Deluxe Edition of Rebirth, but this is definitely one of my fave collector’s editions. I love how detailed the shoulder pads and clothing are and not just plain, flat black with no texture.
Wow RelaxingEnd, you cleaned up, getting all that! My favorite characters are: Sephiroth, and Tifa. I don't think the statue's eyes look like Sephiroth.
@TheRelaxingEnd 6:09 I removed the sticker seals using a hair dryer. The heat from the dryer softens the glue, making it easy to remove the stickers without damaging the box.
I just got scammed by a until now "reliable" store, still made it to buy the deluxe edition but seeing my first job earnings lost like that made me quite depressed, not for the money at all, I just really wanted the Sephiroth Static Arts, growing up with this franchise and just realising at this age how incredible it is made me work hard for the CE, and someone took my efforts and trust to throw it in the trash. Still happy for those who got theirs safe, hope everyone enjoys it
