My head cannon is that the Fifth Spirit were two Northuldra sisters who were reincarnated whenever their people needed them. If Disney follows that idea, filling in their back story would be a way to keep Idena and Kristin on board. I also suspect that there's a history of conflict between the Northuldra and Arundel, which could be explored.
After the last book "Polar Nights: Cast Into The Darkness" openly put Elsa to defend that independent women can have a romance, I think it's difficult for her not to have a romance. Mainly how the franchise likes to reinforce lesbian women recently.
But it's funny to see certain fans ignoring Elsa defending the romance theme, and only remembering her saying she wants to be an aunt, and these people pushing that this means she can't have a romance since she wants to be an aunt. The person who skipped half the book and comes to say that others are forcing something, ironic.
My theory for Frozen 3 is that Anna and Kristoff get married and have children in the 3rd film. I think they should have a girl that has blond hair like Kristoff and a boy that has red hair like Anna.

Well Elsa’s journey is never about finding love, even if it doesn’t mean she can’t have one, Elsa has been hinted that romance isn’t really Elsa’s thing. And besides, after frozen 2 Elsa has a bigger responsibility and is taking on the world now that the forest is free, protecting the balance from those who would distrupt it like her grandfather. And besides the romance and independence woman with a love interest has already been found with Anna.
Probably Frozen 3 Anna marries Kristoff her ex boyfriend shows up at the wedding pretending to be a changed man and he brings his new wife who happens to be a evil witch he'll bent on destroying Arendwell and who also is keeping Anna and Elsa parents trapped
The parents can't be trapped by a witch, they are DEAD! Not sure Elsa can find a way to revive them! She can revive a person only if she froze her heart, that's it!
One thing to consider, frozen won’t introduce a new female character because the directors mentioned that Elsa and Anna are enough. They don’t introduce new main characters because they would loose their way from the main gang. So a love interest for Elsa wouldn’t work any way. Frozen 3 will likely bring hans back and his family as new characters along with newer characters.
The 2nd movie was very impressive but it was a shadow to the 1st one which absolutely kicked my ass and blew me away. Every single shot in the 1st movie had an impact on me especially that insane ending.

And when you look for content about Elsa's relationship with Northuldra the most developed thing about it remains the relationship between Elsa and Honeymaren. With Anna reinforcing how close they are, Ryder realizing his sister's feelings for Elsa, and even Gale helping. Perhaps this is one of the reasons that there is little content about the tribe beyond these passages.

I'm so pumped for Frozen 3. I have my own plot theory if anyone is interested. I hope we get a first look from Frozen 3 soon. And no, my plot theory doesn't have Elsa a love interested because its better with no one into her life 'cause I see her as a strong independent woman who doesn't need anyone in her life except only the love from Anna and her friends.
Both “Helsa”, “Jelsa” and “Elsamaren” fans have been theorizing ever since. It’s not wrong to ship whoever you want. However, when it comes to canon, these ships have major flaws and draw backs. Let’s start with Helsa. Hans isn’t a ordinary villain, that’s true but he did things that are unforgivable and he literally tried to kill the sisters (even though those where just poor choices made along the way and he wasn’t always lying). And Elsa made fun of him more than Anna is that Anna moved on from him and Elsa wants to make sure of that, She is a big sister protecting Anna from the one who left her to die. Sure they share similarities and stuff but a romance just feels off and it would go against that elsa her whole life isn’t interested in romance. Helsa would work as a platonic villain hero dynamic who would most likely respect eachother in the end and nothing more. Elsamaren, now it’s obvious. They are seen as best friends because fans see they have chemistry (but they hardly shared any, Honeymaren was only a guid and a messenger, nothing more). And it just wasn’t her place to help Elsa the whole way, and anyone could have told Elsa about the fifth spirit. She isn’t meant to be a main character, and plus Elsa had already decided to stay before Honeymaren suggested she belonged there (that was just a way to tell the audience that Elsa is staying in the forest, to make sure they don’t get confused or anything). And we shouldn’t expect that much from her in the third. Jelsa is more obvious, they are from two separate companies and they are different characters from different worlds. And here is another thing, Elsa has learned to control her powers in first, In the second she learned the truth behind her powers, does it “really” have to end there so she can peruse a relationship? That feels like a step backwards, what everyone wants to see is Elsa using her powers to protect the balance from those like her grandfather from distrusting it. Elsa has even bigger things to worry about now, and she has a higher responsibility, how can people be so single minded and believe now that Elsa knows herself she would be ready for a relationship. Just because she finally found herself doesn’t mean she’s ready for a relationship. What it means is that she’s ready to take on the world with her abilites. Thats the real journey we all want to see.
@@danielvargas9231 “she isn’t ready” was not the only thing that the directors said, because they are aware of how much Elsa means to the world and how that her being single and ambiguous allows “everyone” who felt like outcasts to relate to Elsa. And I think Chris buck mentioned in a Facebook website (not easy to get too but I definitely remember it), is that as long as their in control over the franchise, Elsa will never get a love interest with a human. And that childhood scene is supposed to be a representation of Elsa and Anna’s different characteristics, the problem is they ignor Anna and look at Elsa and they say “Kids do that too, Things change”. Except Anna is doing the romance and going all in, she favors romance and treasures it, while Elsa on the other hand, prioritizes others things beyond that. And the fact that she stepped into ahtohallen, she becomes free and more “complete” the she could possibly imagine, in fact she was already complete all this time since birth, she just didn’t realize it. She is no longer in search for a soulmate friend or lover. And what’s more is that Anna is her other half of the bridge, so finding herself and Anna being her other half complete her fully now. Having a love interest would just be a step backwards as frozen is not supposed to be about romance (that’s already been done with kristoff and Anna, no need to overfill it).
For some reason I expect else’s love interest to be an ice being that resembles Dr. Manhattan a bit and would be voiced by the same actor who voices Mr. freeze in Batman the animated series
Possible plot (that makes more sense at all possible). “5 months after the destruction of king runeards dam, all seems well for Elsa and Anna as the bridge between Arendelle and Northuldra grow stronger than ever. However, when a new threat disrupts their peaceful existence, they must journey to the south in search of this mysterious force. With friends both old and new by their side, the sisters must stand together to protect the balance of nature, but will it be enough?”
That's basically the plot of second film... but with extra sidekicks. I don't think so. I have a suspicion that Hans might make a comeback as a stronger and more vile villain
I hope the 3rd movie focuses on the integration of northuldra but also on anna marrying christoff and possibly them adjusting to becoming new parents of a baby or two and settling into their new roles as King and Queen. Disney needs to stop staying from parenthood in their movies and do something like little mermaid 2 and continue the generations of a princess or princesses. .
Elsa and Anna have an aunt who might have ice powers and honor discovers her fire powers. Elsa becomes evil for a little bit and becomes good Because of friendship and love and that's the story because of love and friendship, and that's the story.

I'm so pumped for Frozen 3. I have my own plot theory if anyone is interested. I hope we get a first look from Frozen 3 soon. And no, my plot theory doesn't have Elsa a love interested because its better with no one into her life 'cause I see her as a strong independent woman who doesn't need anyone in her life except only the love from Anna and her friends.
Both “Helsa”, “Jelsa” and “Elsamaren” fans have been theorizing ever since.
It’s not wrong to ship whoever you want.
However, when it comes to canon, these ships have major flaws and draw backs.
Let’s start with Helsa. Hans isn’t a ordinary villain, that’s true but he did things that are unforgivable and he literally tried to kill the sisters (even though those where just poor choices made along the way and he wasn’t always lying). And Elsa made fun of him more than Anna is that Anna moved on from him and Elsa wants to make sure of that, She is a big sister protecting Anna from the one who left her to die. Sure they share similarities and stuff but a romance just feels off and it would go against that elsa her whole life isn’t interested in romance. Helsa would work as a platonic villain hero dynamic who would most likely respect eachother in the end and nothing more.
Elsamaren, now it’s obvious. They are seen as best friends because fans see they have chemistry (but they hardly shared any, Honeymaren was only a guid and a messenger, nothing more). And it just wasn’t her place to help Elsa the whole way, and anyone could have told Elsa about the fifth spirit. She isn’t meant to be a main character, and plus Elsa had already decided to stay before Honeymaren suggested she belonged there (that was just a way to tell the audience that Elsa is staying in the forest, to make sure they don’t get confused or anything).
And we shouldn’t expect that much from her in the third.
Jelsa is more obvious, they are from two separate companies and they are different characters from different worlds.
And here is another thing, Elsa has learned to control her powers in first, In the second she learned the truth behind her powers, does it “really” have to end there so she can peruse a relationship? That feels like a step backwards, what everyone wants to see is Elsa using her powers to protect the balance from those like her grandfather from distrusting it.
Elsa has even bigger things to worry about now, and she has a higher responsibility, how can people be so single minded and believe now that Elsa knows herself she would be ready for a relationship. Just because she finally found herself doesn’t mean she’s ready for a relationship. What it means is that she’s ready to take on the world with her abilites. Thats the real journey we all want to see.

@@danielvargas9231 “she isn’t ready” was not the only thing that the directors said, because they are aware of how much Elsa means to the world and how that her being single and ambiguous allows “everyone” who felt like outcasts to relate to Elsa.
And I think Chris buck mentioned in a Facebook website (not easy to get too but I definitely remember it), is that as long as their in control over the franchise, Elsa will never get a love interest with a human. And that childhood scene is supposed to be a representation of Elsa and Anna’s different characteristics, the problem is they ignor Anna and look at Elsa and they say “Kids do that too, Things change”. Except Anna is doing the romance and going all in, she favors romance and treasures it, while Elsa on the other hand, prioritizes others things beyond that.
And the fact that she stepped into ahtohallen, she becomes free and more “complete” the she could possibly imagine, in fact she was already complete all this time since birth, she just didn’t realize it. She is no longer in search for a soulmate friend or lover. And what’s more is that Anna is her other half of the bridge, so finding herself and Anna being her other half complete her fully now.
Having a love interest would just be a step backwards as frozen is not supposed to be about romance (that’s already been done with kristoff and Anna, no need to overfill it).

I hope the 3rd movie focuses on the integration of northuldra but also on anna marrying christoff and possibly them adjusting to becoming new parents of a baby or two and settling into their new roles as King and Queen. Disney needs to stop staying from parenthood in their movies and do something like little mermaid 2 and continue the generations of a princess or princesses.
