Cooked it too long!! You just need to put butter and brown sugar in pan together and bring to a low boil so sugar is dissolved then pour over crackers. It will finish cooking in oven.
If butter and sugar starts to separate, add a little heavy cream and cook on lower heat. Agree with the other comment, from the beginning you want lower heat and slow boil.
You could use an extension cord for your garland. I love a lighted garland on a headboard.

I used to adore getting magazines all the time. Now I get one, maybe two, in Oct-Dec. They are still that holiday, cozy treat!
I absolutely “still love magazines” and paperback books, love how they feel and smell!!
Get an extension cord that will reach from the garland to your outlet. No big deal❣️🎄
A suggestion, look up a caramel sauce recipie, usually adds heavy cream and vanilla at the end.

At least that's what we call it in our house! I make it every year and give it out to friends and family. It's always a huge hit!
As soon as you showed a snow flocked garland for your headboard my mind immediately went to " oh my, what a mess to try to keep up with daily"! Not to mention the possibility of snow in your eyes😆 Hope you get to feeling better and it doesn't ruin your Thanksgiving.
My nana always called it Christmas Crack. We've never added bacon to it, but good idea.

The tin of cookies is like buying an album. You buy it and wind up only liking one or two cookies or songs😂😂
Sometimes I think it is the anticipation, you build it up in your head how good they are going to be & then they are just ok.
I do that a lot with recipes, the ingredients sound SO food together & you just know gonna be amazing & it is good but not that great taste you thought.
I love magazines too. I know they on the way out. That is my favorite Saturday relax... House clean.. Candle lit... Glass of wine and a magazine.
Add heavy cream to Carmel towards the end of the cooking process. Makes it creamy and smooth. It will make it more sticky, but still harden, rather than brittle. You 2 are my fav! Love your content 🤗

@@hannahkayee831 the cords don’t have timers but just get a timer and plug extension cord to that. I use it for all my Christmas stuff like mantle, stairway and bedroom. Works great

an extension cord is such an easy fix for the bed garland. And yes, I am a magazine lover and saver. I have nice floor baskets and keep all my spring, fall and winter books in each separate basket. I tie a flower on the handles for spring/garden ones, a fall leaf for the fall, and a faux candy cane on the winter/Christmas.... that way when I am in the mood during the year for Fall or WInter inspiration , I just bring the basket I want to the living room, make a cappuccino and "Calgon take me away" haha ... I save then all! Especially now when they are so expensive and mine are just as relevant.

I was ready to crawl through the screen as Mr B was cooking breakfast! 🤗 I could eat that any time of day! 😁
I also won't tell you to use an extension cord for the headboard decorations since another 20 already said that. ☺️
So when you remake the caramel treats you can show us how you rigged up the bedroom decorations to an extension cord. 🤗

I agree! I work a ton and just do the christmas tree whenever I have time. It might be before halloween might be a week before christmas. I try hard just because I have a young daughter, who's birthday falls either on Thanksgiving or a few days after lol.

This is yummy, grandkids love it. You need equal amts of sugar/br sugar. Low boil for 1 min. It still needs to be liquidy where you wont have to spread it very much. You'll get it!
I love magazines but what you used to spend 1 or 2 dollars now is 12.99 so I rarely get one unless it grabs my attention seriously.

I love magazines and have subscriptions to three or four. 😁 As for cookies, try Sam's madelines. They are really good. Not too sweet and spongey soft and delicious.
