Kim Lewis He did not know he died from AIDS because he was one of the few first to die and there was not even a name for what he had, so first they called it GRID, I think, G standing for Gay, which they had to take out when they realised not only Gay people get it. It's extremely sad! So many talented people kept disappearing overnight.
I watched this movie years ago, from pure curiosity, and it was really poor. I'm surprised, how good these shots look, when combined with this great music!
hAD A OPPORTUNITY to see the man in concert @ phantasy Lkwd OhioJust wished i had the guts to speak prior to my stroke had an operatic voice quite similar ...this work is brilliant.
Simply amazing. Such a shame this man died so young when he was easily decades ahead of his time.
"I haven't got the answer; I think I die of cancer" - at the end of the overture he unmistakably says this - chilling :'(
Wow, I didn't hear that the first time. It really is.
Kim Lewis I think the manly way that he approached his own demise speaks volumes as to his courage and character.

No one else could have made something so very strange, and yet still intriguing and beautiful. The video was a great match.

I keep hearing echoes of this piece in David Bowie's final album - anyone else hear that influence?
Yes, very much like Blackstar..........no doubt Bowie was reaching back to tell Klaus he was on his way to meet again.
Black star was klaus
Sounds like Blackstar.
Yes, sure, same energetic, i feel it too.
Yes
So wonderful!
Great, like everything he did
Magical, beautiful
Klaus Nomi and the Residents would make a cool collaboration 👌
Un génie cette homme incroyable j'aime bien retourné v le future lan 3000 milles ❤❤❤❤
Dull, abstract yet something quite attractive and charming about it...❤
Почему тусклый, абстрактный? Неброский, но очень понятный. Нужно почувствовать его душу, чтобы понять его величие. Ну, а талант, конечно же, налицо.
Hey, those are some pretty nice special effects though... East Germany, damn
super sympa ! c'était ça son univers ! bravo !
En avance sur son temps et parti avant l'heure...
>Long live Klaus!
incredible
Vid's just right for this :)
Genius
Cool work, some swell fortuitous '09 mergings of '60s sights & '80s sounds...GE [coauthor]
33 que gusto estar Serca!!!
(Essen) New York . Berlin Defa space time .
Me suena a black Star de bowie . Pero es claro que no fue su creación . Increíble Nomi tenía mucho qué aportar a la música
💓
This one of the coolest things that ever happened! Klaus❤👽❤ Is it possible to finish it somehow? It's so beautiful!
I haven't got the answer
I think I die of cancer 2:35
Its an real creation of Nomi? Its strange and rly futuristic
😵💫👍🏿 Yupppppppppp!!!
If it were not true, I would not believe that it is true. Really.
I have a question: who is making money with the Nomi music?
good one, who?
Nomi Estate, managed by Joey Arias
What is the movie? Anybody know the title?
First Spaceship on Venus
The original title is "Milcząca gwiazda" or "Der Schweigende Stern".
I don't know why but this reminds me of Earthbound.
@MadScientist7777
It's a glossolalia; it has no meaning.
sad that bowie kind-of ripped this off. overture and backstair sounds same to me.
Imitation is the greatest form of flattery
@MadScientist7777 sounds like a nirvana song, which???
Erfrischend....
Sehr ungewöhnlich, gefällt mir dennoch!😊
@utuberjp9999 First Spaceship on Venus
