We were at Meathop at the end of April on our way up to Scotland for our recent 8 week adventure. Lovely site, we enjoyed a walk into Grange over Sands and did the Newby Bridge Parkrun amongst other things during our 5 night stay.
Hi Bob and Jenny a great video and some cracking scenery on the drive down always seems sad somehow heading southbound and through the English border! Meathop looks a great site and so very clean and a good base sounds like Poppy was glad to arrive! All the best to you both Daniel
We stopped at Meathop Fell earlier this year, after watching one of your videos. We really liked the layout of the place at different levels and great to be able to cycle into Grange over Sands. Incidentally, the food, at Woodlands Hotel which is 5 minutes away, both quality wise and value for money, was excellent - have you eaten there, Bob?
Hi bob we’ve got our Moho back after 2 weeks ,cause for breakdown was a broken screw in the cam belt area all done and a service not much change from £1500. Now already for Ireland in Aug ,,enjoying your travels ,,trev
Hello your dog sure is pretty.thank you so much for this video I enjoyed it very much.my grandmother is a direct decentant of the Pomeroy family hopefully one day I will be able to visit.this is Tuesday june 18th at 7:55pm in the USA
I’m so sorry, I’ve been watching your videos for a couple of weeks now and I thought I’d already subscribed 🤦🏼♀️ Anyway I have now! Congratulations on getting over 34k subs 🥳
Good day Bob and Jenny, hope you're both enjoying your tour? Many Congratulations for reaching 34k, well done, come on guys, spread the word, get Bob and Jenny to 50k. Compliment time - Navigation - I reckon Jenny does a fab job with assisting Bob on your journey's, reinforcing directions and guidance. Bob, I reckon you do an amazing job driving whichever motorhome you are driving. Did you used to drive a long vehicle during your working life or is it something you have just gotten used to over the years?? Sat Nav - I usually have either Waze or Google Maps on Android Auto, with sounds muted as I find them too distracting. Which system of navigating do you find the best and do you have a dedicated Sat Nav for Motorhomes, for length and width?? If so, can you recommend your favourite please?? Take care and have fun. Best regards, Neil.
No I didn't drive for a living, but I always tried to be a good driver. A little while back we invested in a dedicated motorhome/caravan sat nav. Whilst it's not perfect, it seems far better than built in ones and certainly more helpful for a motorhome than say Google maps. th-cam.com/video/ezuzf1Ycc6I/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Ztp0ypaFCspOkDFO

It is a nice site, especially in the summer. We love Grange over Sands. We've often gone to Ambleside, nor too far away.
@@BobEarnshawMoHo we went onto Braithwaite which we love.
I love how Poppy announces that you have arrived at the site.❤😂
Meathop is one of our favourite sites - lovely staff!
Thank you for along for the ride!

Thank you so much, hope you get to visit soon.
Lovely drive Bob and Jenny nice to see the countryside and the tractors I live in a farming community in NZ 😂❤
Fab as usual.
They could be Cypress trees like in Italy but more likely to be poplars in the UK.
Yes, looked just like Italy. 😊
It looks nice I was at Delph bank touring park its really nice aswell.
Thanks for the tip!

@@BobEarnshawMoHo That's fantastic Bob, thank you for linking, gave it a good viewing Thursday morning and great information, thanks very much Bob.
How do you like the automatic gearbox on your new van
I love it, so much easier to drive.
I believe they could be Cyprus trees ?
Thanks
