THAB=NKS FOR ALL YOUR VIDEOS! you are super informative, and really help me get a grasp on the hobby. thanks for keeping it comfortable. you remind me of Dan the auctioneer from Storage wars(compliment) I just uploaded a m second flight viid of the striker glow int he dark- love that thing! - thanks for continuously teaching and evaluating products man, really helps us decide if we like it or not! cheers-
I own this same quadcopter and all that I got to say is this thing is tough! I crashed it into a tree high up and kept trying to make it take back off. Finally I got it to fall back down and it slammed into the ground and it was perfectly fine. All I had to do was put a propeller back on and one of the side bars (hulls). I highly recommend this!
Thanks for the review. The position hold works reasonably well; altitude hold less so. I would think owners of this might get tired of it easily, since all its automated maneuvers take away the pleasure of actually flying, and make it a "push icon and watch it perform" type of quad .. with very limited range. At $70, its not particularly cheap ... but it is different enough that it might get interest as a novelty quad. Again, thanks for the review. Always nice to see "the bleeding edge". Cheers.
Drone guru, I have a questions... I was going to buy a dji phantom 3 advanced and use it offshore for spotting tuna. I have now internet coverage and with the dji restrictions it is no longer an option. What is a good alternative? Many thanks
Had this for over a year and you find out 2 things in a hurry... it'll drop from the sky when out of range but it can take a few 20 foot drops to pavement. If only the phone I'm flying it from could. Free Flite mini works better than original app. Getting FW update as I write... However, I've had more fun with my Furibee F36 in the last week. I'm sure it's because of a real controller.
Use the app to take a photo with its camera. The photo button is in the upper right corner of the app. But as the drone's camera is on its belly, this only can take a photo looking directly underneath the drone.
What I don't get is why I drone needs to flip what is the point in flipping all you're doing is wasting battery power that's all you're doing is wasting battery power also why don't they give you a controller why does it have to be an app why is that to be Bluetooth or Wifi whatever happened to controllers are they the thing of a past or what people don't like app controller much I like a real controller
It is a damn toy, it does flips because people think they are fun to do and to watch. If you do not want to do flips then do not do flips. Flying it wastes battery power too, why fly it you can just charge the battery and leave it on the shelf and the charge will last longer than it does when flying it. Troll or weirdo, I say the latter.
I love your videos, Quadcopter 101! You are such a genuinely kind person who helps me a ton in my quest to buy and fly cool drones.
The MacLane? Anyone else getting that Fifth Element vibe from this one? Designed like the police car in the beginning. Makes me want it more. LoL
I have one and I am watching this video before I try it out. I got it for $15 on Amazon because it is "Renewed" AKA Refurbished
The mambo does the same position hold can cary a camera and is very stable good flyer. its the same drone but flys with a controller.
My Mambo didn't come with a controller. But it did come with a remote control claw and a gun! th-cam.com/video/C-SIUmWy5ts/w-d-xo.html

Got one on amazon last year for £15 (the sensors alone are worth more than that)
Shame they don't make em anymore though....

My drone is glitching when I'm pressing take of its flying but it's landing auto maticy
Sounds like the battery is low on charge, or may need replaced.
Is there a way to have a live video feed?
Sadly, no. These parrot drones only take aerial photos. If you want one that takes live video, you will probably need to buy a more expensive drone.
@@totomac3600 parrot had a line of drones called minidrones that included ground based ones similar to the drones from r6
Awesome quadcopter
Hi Quadcopter 101, is the link correct? It seems to point to FQ777 FQ20W 2.4G Wifi FPV Detachable Arm RC Quadcopter?

Oh I had one of those. They are awesome and I highly recommend this drone.
Sir where is the smrc s20 drone review?
I decided to skip that one because of this th-cam.com/video/iihgNvOGoyw/w-d-xo.html
How u get the camera?

the parrot flypad makes it much more easy and fun to fly
will this fly with the same controller as the mambo?
Its worth it if it does just stick a camera to the top
The flypad is the same controller, works with all the mini drones

Nice video and information presented
This is the wrong link. Different quadcopter.
Thanks, it's now been updated.
What do you think is better tello or that drone?
I think that the title in the following video says it all th-cam.com/video/0CLcbU90njE/w-d-xo.html
Do you think that bird is strong enough to carry a small all-in-one fpv camera setup to use with goggles?
the link isn't right for the quadcopter. pleas change it

Just picked up the cargo version for $18 from slickdeals. I figured I couldn't go wrong at that price.
Greg Henry same!!
That's a downgrade to fly with Bluetooth
Hey does it let you record on the drone
No it does not.
I own it and after 3 years it flyies for 1 minute
Yes. A LiPo battery is only meant to last for two years.
Quadcopter 101 Didn’t know that.
AY I got that parrot drone, hehe
