Loved the dippers Dave....delightful birds. It's a fair few years since I visited Lathkill Dale. I was looking for a rare flower called Jacob's Ladder. You found another splendid tree to sit under too. Best wishes, Chris
Thank you Anthony, yes I love it around the Bakewell Chatsworth area and easy to get to from Leicester. Have you done much walking in the Peak District Anthony? Maybe not when you have the Lake district on your doorstep. Kind regards 🍺👍
Who would want to go fast in such a beautiful and inspiring place Dave? Not many who love to soak up the delights of nature. Dippers? A sure sign the path is a healthy one. Wonderful to breathe it all in. With soul body and mind recharged I bet you were a happy man. Good going. Mark
Thank you for the kind comment Mark, much appreciated. I'm not happy with this video at all the volume is bad as didnt use an external mic and the whole video has little purpose but anyway it was good practice with the camera. Kind regards 👍
Thanks Anthony, yes there is plenty of history and natural features to discover when you get rooting about. Ive had plenty of holidays around there and I save that walk for a bad weather day. ATB Any wild camps comming up? 👍
So many paths in Britain we could spend a lifetime walking them and never come to the end! I've never heard of the Limestone Way before. I like these kind of videos Dave keep them coming, mate👍🍺🍺
A lovely walk in a lovely place So peaceful! I’m hoping to get up to the Peak District this year and sample some of that loveliness my self! Enjoyed &!subbed best regards Simon 🙏🏼👍
Hi Simon, thanks for watching and commenting. Its my closest good area so got to know it well and other places just seem a bit to far unless I have a week off. I'm sure you must have been before. 👍

@@DaveGoodman1959 Yes, a couple of nice ones in Youlgreave near where you were. Is there one in Over Haddon? Don't think I've ever been to that village.
@@DesGreene yes the Lathkill Hotel Des, its Ok and has an enviable location overlooking the dale so is very popular in the summer. Its a small village clinging to the edge of the dale and the cottage we stay in has fantastic views. I'm off work yesterday and today following my booster jab on Saturday. My last jab made me ill too I was off for a week then. 👍
super video Dave...bet you muttered a few obscenities when you met that bloke as you climbed out of Cales dale.....was that Robin following you around?
I think you know everywhere Mr Tramp. Yes it was the same bloody Robin 🤣. It was a wet day so I did not use an external mic but recorded the bird song with my phone from the cottage window and used that.🤣👍 ATB Thanks Dave
Yes Dippers Mark and Si. Only wore my new scarpas 3 times now and I'm sure I'll love these as much as the others I've had. Have you visited the Peak District for hiking and camping ? ATB lads 👍🍺
