Hey, a bit late to this, but the problem I had was the BIOS kept the boot order of the usb drive, so it just kept booting into the usb instead of the actual install on my hard drive. the fix. However, when I tried to run it without the USB, it didn't load any kernel, so the thing that I found works is I changed the boot order within the BIOS to boot the hard drive first. Then, it successfully booted into the version that didn't say live. Something I noticed is that if you add the nomodeset xforcevesa argument, it stretches the resolution and it completely screws with the system. So I just kept it as quiet and it booted just fine. Then, like he did in the video, once the logo flower looking thing showed up, I removed the USB. I think you need the USB because it has something on it that the main system needs to boot, but after the first boot, you are good to go. Ask if you have any questions, this one stumped me for 8 hours...

Thanks For the installation process I have two systems one which is normal PC with 8GB of ram and a sluggish old acer aspire switch with 2GB of ram. Bliss os 15.8 Works wonderful on the 8GB ram system. But it doesn't even able to open settings app properly on the 2GB ram tab xD ...
Where's the video that will show you how to not run live usb, but to install like this video, but for dual boot. I still want a full install, but only to that partition on hdd I created.
if you didn't override the disk (format), you hould be able to press function keys and enter bios settings and select your windows partition as primary boot....first try to find what is your boot key depending on your computer then select bood on windows, you can search your computer model and search on google boot option for your pc...let me know if that works
i followed the instructions, installed on my Surface pro 4 . The touch screen works but it has a pointer cursor which i have to drag everywhere . I cannot swipe. Really annoying.

Since it is a Chromebook there is some parts of it that won't really work, I realize this from installing Fyde OS and Chrome OS Flex it all have the same problem it doesn't have sound. it has to do with a requirement google made few years back called "seamless updates"...sometimes depends on your device, some devices don't support A/B...i will comment back if i find a solution.

im having a problem with install on my system it is a nextbook NX16w1124 it tells me system not prepared for virtual a/b and it wont install. this thing has a boot option for windows 8.1 or andriod
so i got it to load into kernel. it is stuck trying to detect android-x86 now. i also have to edit the EEEPC words "kernel_a "to just "kernel" . i set the root to the drive i installed everything to and i did not see an androidx86 file in the installed drive. i want it to be my only os on this system. any help or pointing in the rigtht direction im learning all this form scrach.
I have this with an HP laptop, and the solution is not to press enter on the installation option of your choice, but to press e then edit the line where it starts with "Linux" add "acpi=off" at the end of it and it would install but it didn't support wifi when I do that, I hope someone with knowledge will tell me how to set the wifi to work under such parameter

Reminder that your system needs good mesa support to run. No NVIDIA cards, and no super old intel cards.
This laptop is actually quite old, i still use it most of the time, but yeah...if you have a better one...would be absolutely better experience.

I had the same issue with any version other than the newest (Bliss Zenith 16.9.6)

yeah 2 gig would only be good for some Linux Mint 32 light or Zorin os light 32...

Installation was successful. I was able to login. After restart i am stuck on black screen which says " Have a blissful experience". Any solution?

I was also able to format via a disk utility tool (Easeus Bootable). I suggest using one of the tools in Medicat USB.
I wish that offer for smartphones, Tablet, smartwatches and etc.
Lineage OS is similar option for smartphones (android based)
There is BlissRom for smartphones
If your phone is oem unlocked, you can absolutely install this to it.

You could have booted a Windows USB install and perform the diskpart portion of the setup without having to remove the drive.

Live boot mode is when its booting from the USB. If you unplug the USB it wont work anymore.

This is the FOSS version of Bliss. You want the other one which defaults to Gapps and is now on 15.8.6 I believe.
