I believe it's a homage to Iggy Pop, and his song "Loose" with the Stooges from their sophomore album "Fun House". The way Iggy sings "'cause I'm loose" in that song reminds a lot of how Sebastian sings those words in "Punk Rock Loser". Iggy and his mannerisms have obviously influenced Sebastian, and the music of The Stooges is a more than likely source of inspiration for Viagra Boys' sound.

Lol He's just a pale loose as a low hangin fruit, pretty white, cool kinda guy. Lol I love to see them live. How they keep playing their instruments well after the lyrical part is over.... so great.

Saw them at Berlin Astra, best concert since a decade.
I was there that evening, too :-) Was already awake for 3 days or so and enjoyed their performance even more! Kind of magical aura was among us ;-)
