So many guys rush into a relationship. Take you time and get to know the person face to face. LDR's are more illusion then reality. Good video Pea and I'll be back on Tuesday.
Too many guys show all their cards at once. It's what makes them seem desperate. Killing your part of mystery also kill other's interest. Playing hard to get, is also not to publicize too openly the way you feel or think. It can be done through joking or being artfully evasive. It's understandable to be nervous around who is basically the woman of your dream, but you gotta act as a cool cat and show romantic interest in calculated amount, replacing on the nose compliments with nice little attentions for example. Focusing on having fun is a priority, I'd say: on the way you enjoy activities, you talk etc... Because women love fun guys. The art of romancing is difficult and takes many failed attempts, but once you understand it, it seems as natural to you as breathing air...
This explanation of the transactional nature of male/female mating is convoluted and likely correct. It has been said in many ways but never better. Men are advised, if unaware of these dynamics, to simply go their own way. Love yourself .
A gentle reminder from Ms Pea - the Philippines Farm Girl, that you reap what you sow. We have harvested your abundant crop of advice. Trust Lucy is enjoying her new home and have a great weekend, Pea.
@@TheFilipinaPea Well for me as a British Humour -informed New Zealander, you smacked it not just out of the ballpark, but all the way beyond the stadium carpark with the rhyming alliteration line "If a woman decides the best way to snag a man, is to *shag* a man". 😂. That definitely shows a fulsome grasp of British and Australasian idiom! 😄
Excellent video Ms Pea. My policy has always been don’t give money. I know that sounds cold to most but I was in a four year relationship and my girlfriend never asked me for a penny. People have to realize that she was fine before she met you and if you break up she will be fine then too. If meeting her is contingent on you giving money then you only have to ask yourself would you do this with a Western woman in your own country online? Have a great weekend and take care! 👊🏻🙏

Pea, thanks for your videos! I married a Filipina. I think maybe I'm a bit of an exception to this, but you tell me. I started talking with my wife Feb 2023 because I have a cousin and she has a cousin who married each other. Our families introduced us. I was extremely lonely at the time. I wouldn't say desperate, but love starved hits home. I went to the Philippines to meet her after only 2 months of chatting. We were married after 3 months together in person. We've been married now for 1.5 years and we are even more happy now than when we first got married. I credit God and our shared moral standards for our happy marriage. She is a good woman and comes from a good family. That's why I married her. Am I just blessed that it worked out? I can honestly say for myself that I feel that God guided us together. My wife feels the same way. God bless! Your videos are great and very helpful.
@@etfremd I've been back and forth between the Philippines. The spousal visa and visas in general take an eternity. We are hoping to be in the USA by this December. We are in the Philippines right now. We got married here so her family could celebrate with us. Apparently the fiancee visa takes about the same time. Spousal is cheaper and gets you an immediate green card. Citizenship 3 to 5 years later.
Excellent Pea! Excellent advice! In the words of Snoop Dogg; "tricking ain't the route, that's even if you got it, it's a method to you holding it where they can't do without it" -- you're the prize too Pea for all the right reasons

Hi Pea John here. Love all your videos. Your smart and funny and remind me of my cousin Sandy. I'm married to a wonderful filipina named Hanecca and we have a 4 year old son named Elijah we try to visit the Philippines every couple years. I find most of our arguments were from miscommunications. So ive learned to becareful what i say and describe effectively what im trying to say but with a smile because i found out my wife is always prepared more than me for a verbal argument lol.
Everybody's just trying to get their needs met, the challenge is to find someone who's genuinely compatible where you mutually compliment each other's needs. Neither side should settle, because two halves can't make a whole if there's still missing parts of each piece the other can't fill.
It will never cease to amaze me how many times you warn the guys about not jumping too fast and then they do anyways claiming that they’re the lucky one. Or that the five minute that took them to fall head over heels and love wasn’t all that fast at all really compared to all the other times they fell in love even faster.
Spot on Miss Pea. Respect, boundaries and open communication. There's an old saying I like: "I don't want to be needed, I need to be wanted". It implies choice and independence on both sides which I think is a better basis for a healthy relationship.

@@TheFilipinaPea Well, that's a long story, and it's not that I'm completely closed to the idea it's just that a companion would have to share so many of the same unusual attributes* that the odds of encountering such are very highly unlikely. I really appreciate you asking though! *(i.e. I follow the path of the Dokkodo)
Great video, Pea. My wife was 17 when I met her, and I took the liberty of telling her I was broke when we met, just to see if I had found gold. I suggested disco and a party, but that wasn’t her thing, and she didn’t come from a poor family either. Maybe she liked my sense of humor because I doubt she fell in love with me, haha. Thirteen years and two wonderful kids later, we’re as happy as we can be. Check all the red flags before getting deeply involved in a relationship, and not just that-think about your own behavior in the process and respect her as an equal in everything.
Thanks for another dose of info. The young guys all need to know this sort of thing. I admit that I have been benevolent to women in my life, even recently, but I didn't want a relationship with them. I just wanted to help someone I considered a friend (or someone that I was friendly with) with some help getting through a tough situation. What I would provide wasn't much and always a surprise. I don't consider that simping but maybe I was misunderstood to be one, lol. I don't care, they're in my past and because of the "gold diggers & sociopaths", I don't offer anyone much more than a helping hand when they ask. I have plenty of my own responsibilities anyway, so my time & money are needed here at home a lot more than in the past. Thanks again for the entertainment and info. It does help even an older guy like me after being with the same woman for 25 years. I am way out of touch with the current dating norms and when I decide to dive back in, this sort of knowledge will help keep me within the boundaries of today's expectations. Being a gentleman in a world heavily populated with feminists is like walking through a minefield, lol.

After watching this video, i can say you finally made a video that caught my attention. Because i use to be a subscriber of your channel but watching you ignore most people's comments got me to believe that your channel is fake and misleading. However after watching this episode, you did a great job. Because sadly the Philippines tourism rates are declining a lot. The love the Philippines gave to all visitors before covid was amazing the Philippines had so many women that fell in love with all kinds of visitors mostly white men no matter what age. But now after traveling every year to the Philippines i see the hospitality of your country not there anymore. People are just cold, bitter, and dry and its more competitive than ever before ti find a Filipina that most men desire. Well thanks to my Filipino best friend he married a woman from Kenya and said that finding a woman outside yhe Philippines was the best choice he ever made. I didnt want to believe it, because i thought ny future wife was going to be a Filipina, because Filipinas are beautiful and special in the eyes of so many people. However after visiting every year, after watching a lot of Raffy tulfo, after seeing the decline of your country because the majority of Filipinas only marry a foreigner for money or financial stability not love, and its sad that is why most people love to visit countries like Thailand Vietnam Cambodia Japan etc. because chances of a man find true love in those countries are pretty high just make sure they dont take advantage of you. Overall im happily married to my wife from Vietnam she is 37 i am 38 and the secret to a good relationship, is dont cheat , dont lie, dont scam, and you should be fine. Sadly the majority of Filipinas dont do this because a lot of them decieve many foreign men. I could had been one of them if it wasn't for my Filipino best friend who is happily married to a black woman from Kenya. That being all said you should travel to other places not just the Philippines but in other parts of the world, because you seem to repeat the same category topic again and again about Filipinas and what they want. Hopefully Philippines brings back their love charm, and hospitality like it was before COVID
@@jetstreamomar27 Ignore most peoples comments? I have one of the highest response rates on TH-cam for a channel anywhere close to my size, and I spend four hours daily replying to people. I don’t know any other TH-camr that does that! 😳 And how would not being able to respond to each of the 2000 comments per video mean that my channel was fake or ‘misleading’? 😳
@@TheFilipinaPea Sympathising does seem to be the first natural origin. But I also wonder if the word 'simper' (n, vi) was also a contributing informant to the 'simp' contraction. That is, 'to simper' means 'to smile in a silly, self-conscious or ingratiating way'.
My oldest friend is a prime example. He hates being on his own with a passion. Each time a relationship ends, he's hitting the dating apps to find someone else. I think you nailed it lovely Pea. Some men are way too desperate and in a rush. Crowding a lady is very unpleasant for her. Modern media doesn't help with any person who responds too much to an online personality being labelled a simp. No wonder some women think men are just in it for the sex! Problem is, it turns the nice but shy potentials away. Great topic and people need to look inside more! 🙏🏻🌹❤️
After two marriages, a third 10 year relationship, and 5 or 6 other short relationships; sex is the one thing that makes romantic relationships different from friendships. If that ain't happening almost daily, what reason is there to invest time or money into the relationship? I have male and female friends that I can talk to any time, I can cook and clean exactly as I like, and my hobbies can consume all my free time if need be. Sex is the only thing that is FAR more satisfying with a fun, willing partner.
Excellent explanation Pea. The "White Knight" syndrome has always been the worst thing any man can do as it implies making sacrifices with no expectation of rewards. I prefer the old fashion term "sucker" in lieu of "simps".🤣
@TheFilipinaPea Enjoying your content! You're entertaining and charming while re-affirming my belief life is better alone.(Not bitter, just wiser) Keep up the good work.
At 66, I've seen enough to know that being in a relationship isn't the be all and end all anymore. My time living and traveling around the Caribbean, and soon heading back to the Philippines, has taught me that. I'm all about enjoying the quality of life and lifestyle now, shuttling between Europe, the Caribbean, BGC, and Boracay during my retirement. I'm not on the lookout for romance; just soaking in the good life. And from what I've observed, if you're trying to connect with Filipinas, don't just throw your money or compliments around like they're going out of style. That approach screams desperation or makes you seem like a cash machine rather than a potential partner. Keep some mystery, hold back on the wallet until you've really got something solid, or you'll end up in a series of brief flings where they're more into your bank than you. Trust me, patience and setting some ground rules are key.
I just want to live a good life at this point. Forever love or some fairy tale is stupid. Just be practical. If you're with a woman, she's with you for a reason, and chances are, it's not who you are but what you can provide. Only 10% of men are men women really want. The rest, they settle for. Just enjoy your life, don't make it about women, realize they can and will always leave.
One of the reasons I watch Ms. Pea is that she gives direct, clear, and logical explanations about what to expect from the Philippines. Her balanced approach is easy to understand and is factual. So don’t expect sugar coated nonsense or one sided videos!
So what if you don't make much money at all. I just prefer to tell her right away I don't make a lot. I figure she will move on right away if that she wants $$$. And if she doesn't move on then she might be actually interested in me.
To be fair I have heard the saying nice guys finish last but in truth Nice guys never finish at all. Now I am not saying a guy that gives till he can't give any more is a nice guy but most nice guys are the ones that do get lied to cheated on and ripped off. I am not saying it happens to just guys as well I have seen it happen to women as well. I don't know if it is in their DNA or what but for some reason some people feel they have to screw over the other person before the other person screws over them even if that person is the nicest guy anyone ever met. I can't say I would jump to marry a girl I have only chatted on line or that I would jump to marry a girl I was only with for a few months. I would recommend to use caution. Remember the saying a fool and his money will soon be parted. Great Video Pea.
The "nice guys finish last" quote was by Leo Durocher. He was talking about sports. If you are a competitor, you can't be nice. Does it apply to life in general? It could. I have my own opinions regarding women in general; You are convinced with her looks. Avoid women with children. No midgets (less than 5 feet tall) She has the cognitive ability to grasp concepts Everything goes good in the bedroom. If all this happens, get married immediately.

The art of romancing is difficult and takes many failed attempts, but once you understand it, it seems as natural to you as breathing air...

Spot on Miss Pea. Respect, boundaries and open communication. There's an old saying I like: "I don't want to be needed, I need to be wanted". It implies choice and independence on both sides which I think is a better basis for a healthy relationship.

Ignore most peoples comments?
I have one of the highest response rates on TH-cam for a channel anywhere close to my size, and I spend four hours daily replying to people. I don’t know any other TH-camr that does that! 😳
And how would not being able to respond to each of the 2000 comments per video mean that my channel was fake or ‘misleading’? 😳
About 11:27: Wow. I thought simp was short for SIMPLETON. Learn something new every day. Thanks.
I believe that was its origin, yes 👍
@@TheFilipinaPea Sympathising does seem to be the first natural origin. But I also wonder if the word 'simper' (n, vi) was also a contributing informant to the 'simp' contraction. That is, 'to simper' means 'to smile in a silly, self-conscious or ingratiating way'.
A combination of simpleton & wimp seems to fit the bill as well.
Great advice, as usual Pea. Being desperate has hurt many good men.
So very true 😳👍👍
Very good advice Pea always hit the nail on the head
Thanks Frank! I took my time on this one 😉👍
You are so insightful --- and witty!!!
Yup, he’s at great risk of having the same thing happen 😳👍
🤣🤣🤣🤣👍
Sucker is fine too 😆👍

Tell that to J Lo,she's on her 3rd,or is it her 4rth marriage?.John M Guinto
Just find whatever path makes you happy 👍❤️
One of the reasons I watch Ms. Pea is that she gives direct, clear, and logical explanations about what to expect from the Philippines. Her balanced approach is easy to understand and is factual. So don’t expect sugar coated nonsense or one sided videos!

So what if you don't make much money at all. I just prefer to tell her right away I don't make a lot. I figure she will move on right away if that she wants $$$. And if she doesn't move on then she might be actually interested in me.
That strategy works too 👍👍
After that last snippet at the end i almost fell off the bed.. 😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣👍
The "nice guys finish last" quote was by Leo Durocher. He was talking about sports. If you are a competitor, you can't be nice. Does it apply to life in general? It could. I have my own opinions regarding women in general;
You are convinced with her looks.
Avoid women with children.
No midgets (less than 5 feet tall)
