Waterproofing under tiles, on a flat roof, with ISOFLEX PU500

ISOFLEX PU500 is an one-component, polyurethane, liquid membrane. Used for jointless and seamless waterproofing of flat roofs, forming a uniform, elastic, vapor-permeable sealing layer.
It is certified with the CE marking as a coating for surface protection of concrete, according to EN 1504-2.

When is the preferred time to do this work?
Is possible to do the work on hot sunny days?
What is the temperature that the surface area should have?
Can be applied in the early morning or is the moisture will affect the bonding?
Can this material be applied over aquapanel ( cement board) ?

after you broadcast the quartz sand, you use a polymer-modified tile adhesive to directly bond the tile to the surface without any mortar? -And, what kind of tiles can you use for this process? (porcelain, ceramic, stone?) -I have a concrete garage roof that I want to waterproof and finish with tiles to make it a functional patio area.

How long does it last in Mediterranean climate? And is it something an normal man can do? Can u later on build on it with cement or do you have to remove it first? How much would it cost to do 200m2?

As a final layer it can last up to 25 years, depending on the existing conditions.
ISOFLEX-PU 500 is intended for professional use only. You cannot build on it with cement. In case of tiles, after applying the final layer of ISOFLEX-PU 500 and while it is still fresh, quartz sand (Ø 0.3-0.8 mm) must be broadcast. In order to discuss about costs, we recommend you contact one of our distributors.

ISOFLEX-PU 500 is a polyurethane product, not water based. Tools should be cleaned with SM-16 solvent (or xylene) while ISOFLEX-PU 500 is still fresh. You can find out more information about SM-16 here: www.isomat.eu/product/sm-16-2-en/
