Kris, that's one brusin' Evo chop! So, what if that slightly over-stock springer fork is a repro. It's not dodgy like some old extended H-D springer which has a lot of miles on it. That frontend is just the right length for that style of machine. I'm digging that chick stick too. That WWII era bayonet gives it a real edgy look. I remember buying one of the first issues of Big Bike magazine which featured a chopped Panhead which had a bayonet on a tall sissy bar. The bike was simply called, "Chrome Bayonet." Since the late 1960s, I've built my fair share of choppers. Some were even built around Japanese engines. Building a ground-up chopper is a lot of work, but, in the end, it's really worth it. A rider-built machine means that guy (or gal) knows just about every nut and bolt on the machine. That same bike stands out among all the stock bikes, which is what it's all about. Ride safe out there. -- W. formerly of Santa Rosa, CA.
Thank you man! I'm also someone that watch a lot of videos, all day, so I try to bring a little bit of what I like on my films... Good information, B-Rolls of what we talking about, and RAW sounds whenever possible. Good vibes always brodah! See you on the road!
sweet machine...way better now than that picture in the beggining of the vid great job dude also love that mexican blanket vest i am gonna have to make myself one
Kris! This is Ryan with the shit blue 52 Pan, if you remember me gettin yelled at by Tatro... Im happy you finished it! I got an 91 big twin and a frame a couple years ago because you inspired me to build the evo... I hope we can ride when I get back to CA if you're still around...
I have a 99 FXSTC and it’s a non kick starter 5 speed bike, electric start only, I’m actually a bit surprised that he didn’t talk about the bike having a kicker on it now, it may have been done ( converted ) before he got the bike.

Clean bike that opening song is pure love on my ears
Love this format. Little bit of b-roll, little bit of interview. Super entertaining and easy to watch. Great job!

I love the final few words. Very encouraging for a young aspiring chopper builder and rider.

A great looking chop with a great motor.
love the video. Keep 'em coming!
I've never seen a mousetrap on an evo, pretty nifty. I think I have that same bayonet!
👏👏👏 nice build 👍
Old school cool my young brother

A '99 EVO in a wishbone frame, tall sissy bar, apehangers, and a replica Harley Springer!!!!! SWEET, SWEET, SWEET!!! Who makes those springers?
That's a gnarly bike dude
What kind of springer is it and what length ?
cool scooter bro
I remember when info was sacred. Motorcyclist were run off the road. Frowned upon.
I'm guessing the gearbox isn't 99 and that it's 4 speed otherwise the mousetrap wouldn't work. Am I right? Cheers from UK

Man I wish this bike was foot clutch hand shift.
Bad a$$ chop.
A 99 EVO doesn't exist. Last model year was 98.
Softails were still running Evos in 99
Wrong I own a 99 FLSTF Fatboy with an evo. They offered me a choice when I bought it. Evo or twin cam.
About as good as an evo gets.
