I really love and admire your "summer vacation" optimism, so to speak, and I think you hit on something really important, just that hope and desire for good times; I think in some ways, it can be a self-fulfilling prophecy in a good way, where when you look forward to something, you're in the right mindset to have a great time, and so you end up having a great time.
