So I purchased an AS-IS Super C RV at auction. It sits on a Freightliner Columbia chassis. Almost every detail about it is unknown. Showing up at the auction location to check it out for the first time!
Surely the Lift-Gate runs of the DC "House-Batteries" !! And somebody has stolen one of those batteries. Replace the missing house battery, apply the cables, & the lift-gate should work again (??).
Not exactly. There was a decal next to the lift gate remote plug that said “disconnect 12v before operating”. It appears that the lift gate only works on 110. With a broken transfer switch and missing generator there was no way to operate the gate when we picked up the RV.

I stand corrected.
Truly WEIRD !
But I was wrong.
Rving is very popular right now on TH-cam. It would make a good series if you kept us included on the repair process.
I plan on trying.
I’m assuming you sold this as I see it on marketplace on Houston, Tx now?
Very interested in your future repairs to a garage coach...thanks
Taking inventory of what’s needed. Hopefully over the next few weeks I can get to it. Between race cars and races!
