We are dvc members as well and our home resort is Saratoga springs. We stayed at the tree house villas last year for my son's graduation trip. Though very sprawling, I enjoyed the walking. I wish I had checked out the cupcakes!!! Thanks again for all the great info.
This was great information. Lots of people don’t realize that there are several stops when staying at a large resort. Since we live so close to Disney we rarely stay at the resorts. We do walk all over many resorts and stop for a drink/snack. Thanks for sharing this! Note to others: You cannot use the pools if you are not staying there. But lots of the restaurants and bars are open to everyone! We very often walk over there from Disney Springs.
We love staying at Saratoga Springs Resort. We usually stay in the Paddock area because we like the Paddock Grill & the slightly closer walk to Disney Springs without the "preferred" upcharge. However, I may have to try the Grandstand next visit. Coincidentally, my sister just stayed at the SSR Treehouse Villas & I gave her the same Grandstand & Springs bus stop advice (never wait for the Treehouse internal buses, too slow.) Great vid👍 I meant to ask earlier: are guests that are not staying on property allowed to go resort hopping. I would love to check Saratoga out when we visit in April.
Absolutely. Disney transportation is for anyone who wants to travel around Disney. You do not need to be a resort guest to use the transportation system. I have a video called the ultimate day at Disney for zero dollars you may want to check out. Happy holidays!!!! 😁

Is it possible to “rope drop” with the Disney buses?
Yes. Buses start running one hour before the parks open. 😁
