Chad, Your masterful exegesis powerfully deepens our faith in The Word to deliver and save us.
I add what you no doubt know, and for time sake could not in the video. The God of Salvation in Exodus who brought His formerly enslaved people through the Baptismal waters of the Red Sea and acknowledged Yahweh as newly named Children of God, is the same God the Son, in Jesus who showed Himself as Savior in the water of the Sea of Galilee, saving them from death therein. Different from the OT, in the NT Jesus didn't passby but revealed Himself face-to-face with now believing disciples who acknowledge Him as One who jas Authority over the Sea, that He is the One who Saves, even as Peter cried out for 'Salvation' in Matthew 14.30.
🤔 I ponder how the OT Manna ["What is it?"] may also tied to the NT disciples [Mark 6.52] 'lack of understanding' of the Loaves. The Sacraments [Baptism & Breaking of Bread] which 'save' are introduced in but not fully understood until God's followers more fully mature in their faith.
Thank you brother for the teaching!!

... However, most scholars of ancient history of the same general geographic areas maintain that story of Exodus as depicted in the OT is not historically true. And that a historical Moses, as represented in the Pentateuch, never existed.

God can not die! Jesus cried out on the cross " My God, My God" Revelation chapter 1 " He has made us kings and priest to serve HIS GOD" Jesus has a God! God promised David his descent will have have an everlasting throne! God never told David that God will be his descendant? And God throne has always been everlasting? Repent and turn away from idolatry!

Branscomb was right %100. What a stretch. NONE of the original hearers had accordance software or logos software to come up with this guys assumptions. Why can't you just try to exposit what this meant to the disciples and to the original hearers? NO NEED to try and find Yahweh here. Jesus is clearly GOD"S SON in the gospel of Mark. Why not stick to what Mark was trying to prove? That Jesus is God's son (messiah), the King of Israel, BUT NOT Yahweh! Yahweh's Son! Divinely enabled and empowered to do great works!
