The narcissist was or is in your life for one reason. It's so you'll wake up from the illusion that you need validation or love through their affirmation, which they'll never give you. They're there to teach you that you have to find affirmation through reparenting your inner child and unconditionally loving yourself because you're a beautiful person and have intrinsic value. Learning to love yourself is not easy, but essential on this journey called life. Remember, you don't have to hate the narcissist. You have to understand them, as well as yourself, or you're bound to repeat the process of abuse. Time does change the dynamics. However, even if you move on, the rumination seems to get worse. Even though you know it was all a façade. I've been in contact and would never take him back! It's the disbelief that someone could be so cruel to you that doesn't disappear.
65 days no contact and I’m actually getting better. Some days are good, some are bad had nightmares about them a couple of times too but I’m definitely way much better now than when they were actively in my life

After listening to your videos today I blocked him on both cell phone and Facebook. In the end it would always have the same ending. We try to rationalize their ways but their ways have no feeling or character about them. Thank you for letting me see this. If they truly loved you their attention would never have changed to pull them away. They only pull away because they want to be pulled away!🌹

When he kicked me out of the apartment his daughter provides for him when I refused to say he was God, refused to say we are all God, he went into a rage claiming no one ever was helped by the Bible, the commandments are bullshit…..threw my dog on the floor and made me leave…….a page turned in my brain when my religion was completely disrespected and I was done…..a gift from God. When we talked next in a day he tried to skip over the entire horrible experience and I just said we can only be friends. I will no longer give him 1 k a month believing we had a future. I’m peacefully done, I could pinch myself, the energy connecting us is gone.
