What’s helped me with my backlog is thinking of backlogged games as ‘new.’ The experiences we face when going after backlogged trophies are new experiences in themselves. For example, maybe you have only 1 trophy in a game, or you might not have gotten all the endings in another game. Those are all things you have yet to experience, hence, they are ‘new’ to you. Having this thought process, I was able to genuinely enjoy playing my backlog. 👌🏼😌
I’m trying to do 2-3 games out of the backlog I never started, then 1-2 cleanups before I buy a new game…but new games are so shiny and enticing 😢 editing looks great in the video too man!
I have addressed backlog mindset buy not focusing on platinum too much. Its so easy yo get in a mind set of 'I need to grind this out' when you get to the point of not enjoying a game as much or those trophy that take hours and hours after the game is finished, you could be playing another game all the way through... Then going for the plats on your real faves feels more worth while
Backlog and trying to catch up on older games I've missed is what keeps me from playing newer games which is a good thing considering how bad most of the games end up, having to wait a year or two nowadays is a good thing, better than playing buggy games at launch.
I've been on this mission since the beginning of 2020 to get my unfinished games done and ive gone from 65% completion to 83% to this day. It would be higher if I hadn't started anything new, but its hard not to sometimes.
I started my backlog mission in January 2021 with a completion of 37% with 350 games on my profile. Year and a half later just hit 53% yesterday. Even with starting new games my % is getting better. Although my unearned trophies have been kinda stuck at around 7 k for a while now, but I'm getting there.
@@Prometheous101 Its a slow process, but keep at it. Once you get caught up you'll never let your percentage go down that far again. I'll be happy when I'm in the 90s and I'll keep it there once I get there.
I’ve really started trying to conquer my backlog lately and one thing that’s helped me is joining backlog events where there’s an assentive to play your backlog and you have time to think about what you’re going to play. Switching genres and games is key though. As a massive Final Fantasy fan I tried to tackle the whole collection and got burnt out by my third one
I got motivated to get 100% after your review of my list (#15 for anyone interested). I did the ol' new game old game alternation and eventually finished. Luckily I didn't have any unobtainables.
I cleared most of my backlog during quarantine one big help was realizing that not all games are for me. It's ok to drop a game thats really not clicking with you. You should not force yourself to finish a game you're not enjoying. Instead, go to the next game in your backlog maybe you'll enjoy that one more.
My tip for back logs is first writing the games down. The second thing I would do is take it a step further and plan out what trophies in that game your going to do first or right down the ones your missing and try to play the game to earn them with maximum efficiency.
The thing i like about a backlog is usually they consist of older games which are much cheaper to buy (if you haven't bought it yet) as i don't like to buy games on release anymore, they're too much and usually not finished, full of bugs so not even worth it, backlog is always superior as they are complete games ready to play.
I'm just about finishing a backlog of games in the Spyro Trilogy and then I'm going to clean up Classis Final Fantasy 7 for a platinum. Feels good. After that, I'm replaying The Last of Us Remastered and Resident Evil 7 to get DLC trophies. I'm on a quest to up my completion rate at least to the 60s but I've played so many games on my 10 year account. It's taking a while.
I normally try to platinum one game a month, if it's a bigger game I'll play a few shorter games before going back to a big open world/ rpg. I've also stopped buying games at launch as I'm more than happy to wait for a price drop. Also, I like to find out when games are releasing as it helps me to plan ahead of time what games I'm going to play. A rule I have for myself is; I don't allow myself to buy a new game until I've finished my current game/ backlog game. Great video mate! :)
I find 1 trick for backlogs is focus the minimum of 12 in a year, so there can be 1 platinum finished every month. Sometimes it works depending on the difficulty you pick for the game of choice. Though becomes much harder when your backlog is massive (Steam & PSN having over 700 games each does not help haha)
I'm finding the 3d and 2d mix works wonders. Just got platinium in Aliens Fireteam, now pushing through Hollowknight and both are hard games but the absolutely different style is great for a bit of variety.

I have 119 total started games, with few that are now unobtainable plats/100%. For this year I made a promise to buy 3 games (Elden ring, Forbidden west and GoW Ragnarok) while rest will be clearing out the backlog games, I started with 19/119 completed, now I am at 31/119. My completion rate went from 35% to 51% too, so that was nice to see :)

I've recently made a new psn from scratch, my plan is play a game until i platinum it. Then move to the next, as a father of 3 gaming time is very limited, I used to buy digital games however my backlog is ridiculous but now I'll be buying one physical game once I've finished the last game! It's saving me money now and I feel I'm getting alot more value for my money. Also I only buy games now when they're reduced to around £20! I've actually deleted my account with all my digital games to avoid bouncing between games..... I'm finally having a blast 1 game at a time.!
This is reminding me I need to cleanup the active games on my list before starting a new one :/ yay for me, only a few more hours of horizon fw for the 100% only 3 more items to buy, the podcast was 🔥for grinding that out
I like to take part in the backlog challenge on the PSN profiles forums. I tend to go with the minimum requirement for the event, which is 5 games, and it runs for 3 months. You can post your progress on the forum as often as you want, I tend to do a weekly update, but I find it good to keep you accountable. Plus it's nice to read what others are doing too, I've found it to be a really great space. Other than that, I also like to plan for milestones that are displayed on PSNP. If you know you're coming up to a milestone it gives extra motivation to finish the game. I'm currently working on my milestone platinum #75, Resident Evil 2. Hopefully I will have that finished tonight 😊
I've been tackling my backlog as of late and it feels good, finally taking a bite out of it. Fortunately for me there aren't many new games I want plus I don't buy games day one anymore, unless it's something I can't wait to play haha.
I use True Trophies to manage it. I set my self a long term goal to up my trophy completion %age. It puts me off starting new games as I try to focus on backlog to hit that target
I been trying to knock out 2-3 old games per 1 new game, unless I just really want to start that new game. I’ve managed to up my completion percentage by 10% in the last couple of months
I only deem backlog games I've started and not finished. I only buy games super cheap if I can and if they sit there for years I won't feel bad about it. I timebox my gaming over a month, first 1-2 weeks is devoted to unfinished games only. If I finish 1-2 backlog games then I can reward myself by starting a new one. I also never leave a game at 5 -10 percent always get it too 50 percent at least so when I pick it back up again the cleanup time is not so bad. Even if it takes me years to pick that game up again, the important thing is that I get back to it.
I decided to 'ban' myself from buying new games last week (unless they're on a massive discount), my backlog is sitting at around 110 games now so I don't think I'll ever finish it but I'll give it a good try.
The biggest tip is to just stop buying games. In the long run it will save you a lot of money and let you focus on the backlog. All these games will go on sale eventually, and you'll just save money buying them at a later date when you have time for it.
What's helped me a lot is the mentality of not buying new games unless I will literally be playing it as soon as I get it. Plenty of them will be free from PS+ or go on sale in a relatively short span of time, so no need to rush unless I just have to be a day one player, and for 99% of games, I honestly don't feel that compulsion. That thinking extends even further into sales - don't buy a game on sale unless you're going to be playing it then or unless the sale is so good you wouldn't be mad spending the money on a game even if you got it for free. This way, I've been able to avoid most $19.99 USD sales, and even a good chunk of the $9.99 sales, because if it goes that low once, it'll go there again at a time that I'm actually ready to play.
I have a quite a bit backlog but really don't care for it since I care about more playing casually and having fun rather than sitting through picking out what games I should play or beat and especially because I have plenty of games that require you to play them for like 100+ hours and I'm not prepared to do that for every game I own!

Me personally I don’t have a backlog at all - it’s probably because I am very picky with the games recently. I think twice before purchasing a new game. What I do I play the game that I really feeling like playing and when I am done( got on it 100%) then I check if I want to play something new. If there is nothing I just don’t buy anything and wait for some interesting game to come out lol
Sound advice there. I usually play one big game and one small one at the same time and then a sprinkling of a mixed bag. Keeping that constant trophy coming in while doing a longer game keeps the drive to play. I love RPG’s but I find mixing in really short or easy platinums in with them really helps. Right now I am working on Ghost of Tsushima and cleaning up some dlc on force unleashed. Whatever works for you just find your groove and go for it!
This is how I started attackng my backlog. Saints Row reboot is coming out in August 23rd. This month I am playing Saints Row The Third Remastered (already got 100% achievements), Saints Row GAT Out of Hell (half-way through) and then Saints Row IV Re-Elected. Should be done by the end of July. So I will have 3 weeks cooldown from Saints Row series. Not sure what I will be playing during those 3 weeks. On January 27th, we have Dead Space coming. So, of course, in January I will start playing through the first 3 Dead Space games. Not sure how I'll fare because I don't play horror games so I will need to have extra pants xD Or maybe I'll play it in December so I have time to cooldown before the Dead Space remaster comes out xD We also gonna have a new AC game oming out in November, so I will have to clean up AC Valhalla (only Ragnarok and Paris Siege left + tombs and challenges). Also, might finally go after 2 remaining achievements for Origins. Might not have time for Unity but if all things go well, in 2024 we shall see another AC game. I'll try to get AC Unity and Rogue completed by then (I already got all cheevos for Syndicate). In November, we also gonna have the new NFS game. So I think I'll play either Heat or the other newer one as both can be done within 40 hours. Might go for both, I don't know. In October, we have Midnight Suns and CoD games + Skull and Bones in early November. I also try to complete these new easy achievement games on Fridays/Saturdays as they come out during the week ... just to keep up my Gamerscore xD I don't know if this helps anyone but I just started doing it. So far - so good.
For me, i shifted my focus from getting platinums (i have #160) to playing clean up . I focusing more on the number of trophies i earn rather than platinums. Less 100%s? Definitely. But im older now and cant be bothered lol
The worst thing is when you have old games you want to finish but you can't because they have online trophies that are literally impossible due to shut down servers.
Thankfully my backlog is not 76 games long lol but what has helped me in the last 2 years was to select 3 or 4 games that no matter what happened, I would not let the year go by without me playing them. So that gave me the freedom to play new games, play what I felt like etc but at the end of the year, as long as I got those 3-4 done, it was mission accomplished. And now 2 years later, that’s 6-8 games from the backlog cleared. 2 years from now it’ll be 12-16, so on and so forth.
Especially with the new PS plus catalog, I don't ever see myself catching up with my backlog, especially as it pertains to trophies. I basically choose which games are worth grinding for a platinum for and which games are only worth the fun experience in advance.
What I’ve been doing is for every new game I buy I have to them 100% trophies on 3 games in my backlog that way I can Plat the new games that are coming out but also am able to revisit the older games For example in my backlog I’m working on Demons Souls Indivisible Naruto Storm 4 After these I’m planning on getting Spider-Man 2
Here is what I am doing for my new account - I am working on five games at once but only earning trophies in rotation: [1] Start Game #1 [2] Earn trophies in it until I get 10% of the trophy completion [3] Switch to Game #2 [4] Rinse and repeat until all five games have 10% trophy completion [5] Go back to Game #1 [6] Repeat until all games have 20% trophy completion And so on until I get the platinum for all five games. Then I pick five new games and work that same magic method. This way I don't burn on one game but rotate between five. Five game rotation is a good plan and it worked so far. I have 10 platinums on my new account and working on five more now(including Nexomon, which I find is a very cool Pokemon clone). ^_^
here's what I started recently: I wrote all my Backlog Games on to tiny papers and put them into a raffle. My significant other draws a game an I plat it (or at least try to xD). When thats done, she draws again.....so I dont have to think about what to play next and I have the opportunity to "gamify" my backlog a little bit
I mainly only start a new game and then during or a little after I finish that game I’ll cleanup trophies on games that I already played but just don’t have the plat or 100%, it’s just better now to switch between a couple of games.
The pandemic allowed me to complete sooooo many games that were on my list/in my backlog. I hit a wall eventually with games that I managed to get to 90% but the remaining 10% would take an egregious amount of time. Glad that I did it & it made me purchase way less games and get many games for cheaper and them being more polished too.
I made a spreadsheet kinda like the one we used on the trophy league. I won't tell you how many are in my backlog... It's a shocking number that I dare not add up myself lol

My backlog is out of control. There is not enough time for the amount of games that I have in my backlog. And I am saying that while I have been focused on my backlog for the second year. I am finishing my platinum in Assassin's Creed Origins that is a game that i gave 3 chances. Now I am enjoying it and close to the platinum. After that i still have the DLC's to do. Once I am finally done with it I am going to play Syphon Filther from the New PS Plus that is a more chill game.

Now that I did the upgrade for the PS Plus Deluxe I will not buy a new game for a long as time. I went through a bad spate of buying games. Playing them and moving on… now I have a back log of 150+ unfinished games on my trophy list. In an effort to combat and give time to every game I have purchased I devised this plan… on PSNProfiles click “Trophy Advisor” then filter it to Platinum Trophies. You’ll then get a list of every unfinished game you have going from easiest to most difficult Platinum! I have been doing this for about a year now and have chopped my backlog down hugely. Still along way to go, but for me, this way, every game I’ve purchased will get its play. Occasionally I’ll deviate from the list and play something harder further down! For example recently, I took time away from my list to dip into Death Stranding, it’s still in my list, just further down, so it’s just challenging myself more as a gamer. Whenever I fancy that challenge. I dip a little deeper, but when I’m done. Return to the top of my list and keep working down!!! This way you’re getting a fresh mix of genres which as you mentioned is super important! Cheers! Dean
I find it extremely longer obviously to get through my backlog now that within the past 2 years I've exclusively been achievement/trophy hunting games. Because I enjoy playing games to their fullest. But it makes a 10hr game into a 30hr game etc and the backlog grows lol. Luckily for me I recently turned to xbox achievement hunting so it's a fresh backlog of games and I've got only 6 games which im working on atm
I calculated how many games I have and my playing time, also factoring in how long (on average) each game takes to complete and if I only played those games and no new ones it would take me 3yrs.
My dad owns a pawnshop n he always tells me the games before he sell and it's in a pretty rich side of town and I have over 20 games I haven't touched but need to play
According to my slot on PSNProfiles I have 109 platinum’s left to attain on PS4, with 66 platinum’s to my name. I’m not counting the PS3 platinum’s that I will never earn, as I only ever got all of one platinum(Crysis) on that console. I’m not even thinking of getting a PS5 this side of 2025.
I actually made a dent for a while. Finished 75% of my backlog but decided to buy even more games so now I'm at 50%. Hopefully I stop buying cause we're on break from uni and I could actually start working on it again.
I think would help if you wanne play a new game finish the story + missables ,but play an backlog game too but spend more time per month on the backlog game and finish it so when you're done with the backlog game ,pick a new one and when you finish your new game wich will take more time then your backlog you have already done 1 1/2 backlog game done but for the clean up is when you don't feel anything to do like playing with a guide so you can grind or do side quests wich required no much attention (depend on game of course)
I have 800+ games across all PlayStation platforms although quite a lot we’re free with Plus and I will likely never play them. However it gives me a decent choice when I do fancy something new. I currently have 38 games started that are not at 100% and I am I working my way through them and plan to bring them all up to at least an A rank. However I accept 6 to 8 of them I will never get 100% due to server closure or unavailable DLC. I wish I could purchase time to play as easily as I am able to pick up more games in the sales tho 🤣

Tip one…don’t buy games. Been doing this for about 5 months and it’s been going very well. And when I do get one I make it the priority. I went from like 80 to ten that idk if I’ll even start like Diablo 2 but came with Diablo 3 and dlc that kinda stuff
I have like 28 games on disc around but not installed because i bought them on sale or new and never started them so I won't have an unfinished game on my list and if i know i will never start it i can just sell it. It takes a bit of stress out of the whole trophy hunting for me when i know i don't have to play them and might even not lose money on them.
With me for some reason I think I can still do something about my backlog but I have 500+ games in my backlog just on playstation idk why but I just dont want to give up on that 5 dollars I spent 8 years ago

There’s my backlog as far as PSNProfiles is concerned (let’s not approach the subject of my game library backlog) Games Played according to PSNProfiles is 74. Completed is 33 as of a couple of hours ago having popped that Persona 5 plat. 41 games still on the list and I have no intent of adding a 75th title to that list just yet. Some games date back to 2011 on PS3 and there some real stinkers on there like Alien vs Predator, XCOM Enemy Unknown and Blur. So far though I’ve stuck to the plan. I’m waiting to see what the folk in Discord suggest for my next 100%

Look up how long it takes to beat each game, and start with the one that has the least amount of hours and keep going.

I like to take part in the backlog challenge on the PSN profiles forums. I tend to go with the minimum requirement for the event, which is 5 games, and it runs for 3 months. You can post your progress on the forum as often as you want, I tend to do a weekly update, but I find it good to keep you accountable. Plus it's nice to read what others are doing too, I've found it to be a really great space.
Other than that, I also like to plan for milestones that are displayed on PSNP. If you know you're coming up to a milestone it gives extra motivation to finish the game. I'm currently working on my milestone platinum #75, Resident Evil 2. Hopefully I will have that finished tonight 😊

I've been tackling my backlog as of late and it feels good, finally taking a bite out of it. Fortunately for me there aren't many new games I want plus I don't buy games day one anymore, unless it's something I can't wait to play haha.

I use True Trophies to manage it. I set my self a long term goal to up my trophy completion %age.
It puts me off starting new games as I try to focus on backlog to hit that target

I been trying to knock out 2-3 old games per 1 new game, unless I just really want to start that new game. I’ve managed to up my completion percentage by 10% in the last couple of months
I only deem backlog games I've started and not finished. I only buy games super cheap if I can and if they sit there for years I won't feel bad about it. I timebox my gaming over a month, first 1-2 weeks is devoted to unfinished games only. If I finish 1-2 backlog games then I can reward myself by starting a new one. I also never leave a game at 5 -10 percent always get it too 50 percent at least so when I pick it back up again the cleanup time is not so bad. Even if it takes me years to pick that game up again, the important thing is that I get back to it.
I am currently on the backlog beating process! only 14 games to do until I hit 100,% but man they are some long and hard ones haha

I decided to 'ban' myself from buying new games last week (unless they're on a massive discount), my backlog is sitting at around 110 games now so I don't think I'll ever finish it but I'll give it a good try.

The biggest tip is to just stop buying games. In the long run it will save you a lot of money and let you focus on the backlog. All these games will go on sale eventually, and you'll just save money buying them at a later date when you have time for it.

What's helped me a lot is the mentality of not buying new games unless I will literally be playing it as soon as I get it. Plenty of them will be free from PS+ or go on sale in a relatively short span of time, so no need to rush unless I just have to be a day one player, and for 99% of games, I honestly don't feel that compulsion. That thinking extends even further into sales - don't buy a game on sale unless you're going to be playing it then or unless the sale is so good you wouldn't be mad spending the money on a game even if you got it for free. This way, I've been able to avoid most $19.99 USD sales, and even a good chunk of the $9.99 sales, because if it goes that low once, it'll go there again at a time that I'm actually ready to play.
That is solid advice and really good to follow. I try my best but I’ve failed at this on many occasions
I have a quite a bit backlog but really don't care for it since I care about more playing casually and having fun rather than sitting through picking out what games I should play or beat and especially because I have plenty of games that require you to play them for like 100+ hours and I'm not prepared to do that for every game I own!

Me personally I don’t have a backlog at all - it’s probably because I am very picky with the games recently. I think twice before purchasing a new game. What I do I play the game that I really feeling like playing and when I am done( got on it 100%) then I check if I want to play something new. If there is nothing I just don’t buy anything and wait for some interesting game to come out lol

Sound advice there. I usually play one big game and one small one at the same time and then a sprinkling of a mixed bag. Keeping that constant trophy coming in while doing a longer game keeps the drive to play. I love RPG’s but I find mixing in really short or easy platinums in with them really helps. Right now I am working on Ghost of Tsushima and cleaning up some dlc on force unleashed. Whatever works for you just find your groove and go for it!

This is how I started attackng my backlog. Saints Row reboot is coming out in August 23rd. This month I am playing Saints Row The Third Remastered (already got 100% achievements), Saints Row GAT Out of Hell (half-way through) and then Saints Row IV Re-Elected. Should be done by the end of July. So I will have 3 weeks cooldown from Saints Row series. Not sure what I will be playing during those 3 weeks.
On January 27th, we have Dead Space coming. So, of course, in January I will start playing through the first 3 Dead Space games. Not sure how I'll fare because I don't play horror games so I will need to have extra pants xD Or maybe I'll play it in December so I have time to cooldown before the Dead Space remaster comes out xD
We also gonna have a new AC game oming out in November, so I will have to clean up AC Valhalla (only Ragnarok and Paris Siege left + tombs and challenges). Also, might finally go after 2 remaining achievements for Origins. Might not have time for Unity but if all things go well, in 2024 we shall see another AC game. I'll try to get AC Unity and Rogue completed by then (I already got all cheevos for Syndicate).
In November, we also gonna have the new NFS game. So I think I'll play either Heat or the other newer one as both can be done within 40 hours. Might go for both, I don't know. In October, we have Midnight Suns and CoD games + Skull and Bones in early November.
I also try to complete these new easy achievement games on Fridays/Saturdays as they come out during the week ... just to keep up my Gamerscore xD

For me, i shifted my focus from getting platinums (i have #160) to playing clean up . I focusing more on the number of trophies i earn rather than platinums. Less 100%s? Definitely. But im older now and cant be bothered lol

Thankfully my backlog is not 76 games long lol but what has helped me in the last 2 years was to select 3 or 4 games that no matter what happened, I would not let the year go by without me playing them. So that gave me the freedom to play new games, play what I felt like etc but at the end of the year, as long as I got those 3-4 done, it was mission accomplished.
And now 2 years later, that’s 6-8 games from the backlog cleared. 2 years from now it’ll be 12-16, so on and so forth.

Especially with the new PS plus catalog, I don't ever see myself catching up with my backlog, especially as it pertains to trophies. I basically choose which games are worth grinding for a platinum for and which games are only worth the fun experience in advance.

What I’ve been doing is for every new game I buy I have to them 100% trophies on 3 games in my backlog that way I can Plat the new games that are coming out but also am able to revisit the older games
For example in my backlog I’m working on

Indivisible
Naruto Storm 4
After these I’m planning on getting Spider-Man 2
Here is what I am doing for my new account - I am working on five games at once but only earning trophies in rotation:
[1] Start Game #1
[2] Earn trophies in it until I get 10% of the trophy completion
[3] Switch to Game #2
[4] Rinse and repeat until all five games have 10% trophy completion
[5] Go back to Game #1
[6] Repeat until all games have 20% trophy completion
And so on until I get the platinum for all five games. Then I pick five new games and work that same magic method.
This way I don't burn on one game but rotate between five. Five game rotation is a good plan and it worked so far. I have 10 platinums on my new account and working on five more now(including Nexomon, which I find is a very cool Pokemon clone). ^_^

I wrote all my Backlog Games on to tiny papers and put them into a raffle. My significant other draws a game an I plat it (or at least try to xD). When thats done, she draws again.....so I dont have to think about what to play next and I have the opportunity to "gamify" my backlog a little bit

I mainly only start a new game and then during or a little after I finish that game I’ll cleanup trophies on games that I already played but just don’t have the plat or 100%, it’s just better now to switch between a couple of games.
The pandemic allowed me to complete sooooo many games that were on my list/in my backlog.
I hit a wall eventually with games that I managed to get to 90% but the remaining 10% would take an egregious amount of time.
Glad that I did it & it made me purchase way less games and get many games for cheaper and them being more polished too.

My backlog is out of control. There is not enough time for the amount of games that I have in my backlog. And I am saying that while I have been focused on my backlog for the second year. I am finishing my platinum in Assassin's Creed Origins that is a game that i gave 3 chances. Now I am enjoying it and close to the platinum. After that i still have the DLC's to do. Once I am finally done with it I am going to play Syphon Filther from the New PS Plus that is a more chill game.

So I’m at a 36% completion rate on PSNProfiles. I went through a bad spate of buying games. Playing them and moving on… now I have a back log of 150+ unfinished games on my trophy list. In an effort to combat and give time to every game I have purchased I devised this plan… on PSNProfiles click “Trophy Advisor” then filter it to Platinum Trophies. You’ll then get a list of every unfinished game you have going from easiest to most difficult Platinum! I have been doing this for about a year now and have chopped my backlog down hugely. Still along way to go, but for me, this way, every game I’ve purchased will get its play. Occasionally I’ll deviate from the list and play something harder further down! For example recently, I took time away from my list to dip into Death Stranding, it’s still in my list, just further down, so it’s just challenging myself more as a gamer. Whenever I fancy that challenge. I dip a little deeper, but when I’m done. Return to the top of my list and keep working down!!! This way you’re getting a fresh mix of genres which as you mentioned is super important!

I find it extremely longer obviously to get through my backlog now that within the past 2 years I've exclusively been achievement/trophy hunting games. Because I enjoy playing games to their fullest. But it makes a 10hr game into a 30hr game etc and the backlog grows lol. Luckily for me I recently turned to xbox achievement hunting so it's a fresh backlog of games and I've got only 6 games which im working on atm

I think would help if you wanne play a new game finish the story + missables ,but play an backlog game too but spend more time per month on the backlog game and finish it so when you're done with the backlog game ,pick a new one and when you finish your new game wich will take more time then your backlog you have already done 1 1/2 backlog game done but for the clean up is when you don't feel anything to do like playing with a guide so you can grind or do side quests wich required no much attention (depend on game of course)

I have 800+ games across all PlayStation platforms although quite a lot we’re free with Plus and I will likely never play them. However it gives me a decent choice when I do fancy something new. I currently have 38 games started that are not at 100% and I am I working my way through them and plan to bring them all up to at least an A rank. However I accept 6 to 8 of them I will never get 100% due to server closure or unavailable DLC. I wish I could purchase time to play as easily as I am able to pick up more games in the sales tho 🤣

Games Played according to PSNProfiles is 74. Completed is 33 as of a couple of hours ago having popped that Persona 5 plat.
41 games still on the list and I have no intent of adding a 75th title to that list just yet.
Some games date back to 2011 on PS3 and there some real stinkers on there like Alien vs Predator, XCOM Enemy Unknown and Blur.
So far though I’ve stuck to the plan. I’m waiting to see what the folk in Discord suggest for my next 100%
