I can relate to that. I’m 26, and no one ever taught me how to cook. A week ago, I decided to change that and got a cookbook to build the basics. So far, I’ve only made breakfast dishes, but they all turned out well, and it feels great to eat something fresh, warm, and tasty that you made yourself. Keep it up-having this skill is definitely worth it!
Hey bro, I can feel your struggles with cooking, but kudos to you for trying to improve it. My rice cooker broke just before the holidays, so I feel your pain. And even though it sounds pathetic, it took me forever to figure out how to cook rice on the stove, so let me give you some advice: Soak the rice in water for half an hour, then bring to a simmer over a medium heat - then turn off the heat, cover with a lid and let it rest until all the water has evaporated. And for your crêpes, if the batter is too runny, add more flour and try again. Even if the first ones don't come out right, they'll get better with time.
