Did that just today, I discovered this album this afternoon, when for a walk this evening, it was a full moon, what an amazing experience. At a moment (when Find our way home was playing) I was walking and crying, this music makes me nostalgic to a life I never had, a life I always dreamed of having but I failed to get because of my laziness.
You don't share these music. You just have to discover it yourself. The journey is worth it ❤

Wow. I remember listening to this way back in '09 or something as a teenager. Holy s that's 10 years ago, huh.
I completely forgot about this, but apparently youtube's algorithm didn't. Or it's just a coincidence that this got recommended to me.
The emotional bond I have with this is out of this world, I was immediatly set back in time with the first few sounds.
Feels crazy how music has the ability to let us vividly acess parts of our memory we didn't even know existed.
What's more is the album name, Departures. And one of the songs name, Pretend to Forget.

I had to put my dog girl down last Friday, after almost 14 years. Lost my best friend, my beloved child, and my always-reliable companion. With my hands as my pillow, i lay quietly in my bed, blankly staring at the ceiling, as if the answers to my questions can be found there. I thought of running away from everyone but where do i start? Would that even make any differences? I feel like the sadness, wherever i go, they follow me. No matter how fast i run, they always seem to catch up. I am tired. Mum, dad, gran, everyone, i am tired. I know my sobs are quiet but how can you not see? my eyes are practically screaming. Tired of all the hate being thrown everywhere, tired of faking happiness, tired of just everything, i wish i could just end it. I know, i don't have the right to utter these words as i don't do anything much around the house or anywhere but i am truly extremely tired. I don't wanna do anything stupid but i don't know anymore. Im sorry im sorry im sorry im such a weak person.

I was going through a tough time in my life and a friend suggested this book to me. It was an eye opener for me. Perhaps by you listing to this song your soul is resonating with. Maybe it’s time to wake up spiritually 🙂(and I don’t mean find a religion)
