Ah the good old Resident Evil Zero. Reminds me when I bought a black and a purple Game Cube just because it was so cheap and I was not able to decide which colour is better, with Resident Evil Zero, 1 Remake, 2, and 3 Nemesis (2 and 3 both were kind of remasters with better graphics and faster loading screens compared to the PSX original versions). And that Gamecube even had a cooling fan and was Radeon-based, what a leap in technology! Resi Zero was one strange game with only few things in common compared to the Resi 1 2 and 3 I was used to play :D but the music was good.
Ah, it’s so great to hear from you & your channel again, I absolutely love all of your amazing Resident Evil “Save Room” ambient remixes. I’ve been a fan of this iconic series since it’s first introduction to the world, way back in 1996, and have been a fan of it ever since. There has always been something special about this series that struck a nerve deep inside, it grabbed me and pulled me into its world like no other series ever could, and one aspect that has been with me ever since that fateful night seeing the first PS1 RE1 on my TV screen that Summer was its atmospheric music. Specifically the hauntingly beautiful “Save Room” songs throughout the game’s world to give survivors a safe place from the madness outside the door. A place to gather your thoughts, re-configure your inventory, take a break from the horror, and to enjoy some of the most atmospheric music (regardless of if you play games or not) I have ever heard in my life. These songs have been with me for all of this time, long after the game is off, and mean something to me personally in my everyday life. The absolutely awesome remixes on your page reconnect me back to a world I have grown up with as a gamer and mean more to me than the words in this comment box. Thank you for making these awesome arrangements, I first found your channel with the one you did for Resident Evil 1, and have been a subscriber since that video. @@SeaElegy Hmmm I listened to it two days ago while falling asleep as I often listen to music to fall asleep. After reading this comment, I listened to it again. But, I have to say, the melody seems to be drowned out by ambient sound. It doesn't appear to be one music piece, maybe part two is just better.
It was rather tricky to work out that subtle melody by ear because of the delay. If I ever get hold of the original MIDI I will be sure to produce a shorter version of The Marshalling Yard First Half with that subtle melody a lot more prominent.
Hey, I know you probably get a lot of requests, but if you still take some, I would love to see Set Free From Code Veronica in your style! Your Resident Evil covers always amaze me!
To be fully honest I only find this remixed version enjoyable to my ears, I just don't like the original. Having said that I agree with you on this being an ambient version done right. P.S. I find the beginning of the music to be the best part of this remix, it's really soothing and for some reason invokes in me nostalgia for the past times when I was as a kid introduced to RE4 which was my first RE game.

Resident evil 0 was the bomb back in the days of gamecube. It gave rebecca chambers her time to shine.

The original was better, but this is a very close second, and this is an example of ambient music done right. not the REMAKE2 bullcrap.
