Hi Pete! I watch your videos on my waterproof smartphone. It has one flaw, it doesn't have an audio jack. So I usually use the French subtitles function with the sound off so as not to disturb those around me. But there, EUREKA, taking advantage of a moment of solitude I put on some sound and your explanations were in French: brilliant! And they are of excellent quality. It really makes technical understanding easier. Great! In France, you almost never find technical videos in French made by professionals. We have the impression that their knowledge is going to be stolen. Or they hide behind pseudo arguments of legal liability in the event of an accident. A big thank you to you. I will never try white water without a professional: it's been far too long since I put my butt in a kayak less than 16 feet and half long, not to mention my advanced age which has brought me perhaps not wisdom but a certain prudence! 😉 A thousand thanks, your videos are great, both for the hiking and the white water!👏
Another great video, Pete, thank you. I am practising boofs every chance I get (still only paddling at Lee Valley WWC ). I have just bought the ReactR and so far only paddled it once on Saturday and it makes a world of difference compared to my old Burn 2, less work is needed with it, with the Burn I was having to work much harder :)
Thanks for another inspiring video, not much whitewater like that here in Michigan, but absolutely amazing small rivers with some fun sections, I surfed a lip in my ( older) 11.5 blackwater dagger that’s a fun kayak skeg up or down, I’ve watched a couple of dans southern paddler too Such a great guy! If you could give me the w o r dates I’d like to see if they can line up for me….. I’ve been contemplating a trip to buffalo for a grizzly….. I’m more of a greenbrier/james river paddler but I’d like to be able to handle some fun sections too, Again, thanks, my package made it under the tree. Got a nice paddle in last week with my daughter just before winter returned for real here in Michigan. Cheers!
