Love this scent. Discovered it while shopping and overheard two women who came in and asked the sales person for Mont Blanc as they smelled it on some guy at work. They didn't know which one it was so they tried all of them, as soon as they sprayed this one they both said Yes this is it, and hey both purchased a bottle. So of course I grabbed one blind and it sat for a while until it cold here in Michigan. Took my wife out, and I decided to wear this one and man her reaction all night was crazy! I wore it to work and all of my direct reports are women and I got a lot of compliments, just as much as when I wear Aventus and Invictus Legend and Ysl Y. I got performance for 6 hours but I apply a shot just at the opening of my under arms with my arms down, the back of my neck, inner elbows, and that's it.
I know this video is old but I’m new to the fragrance world and I recently purchased this cologne (3.4flz) for the fraction of what it’s sold for on Amazon at Ross so I’m pretty stoked I found it as well happy about it and I love the smell
It doesn’t smell anything like Eros to me. The best word to describe it imo is boozy. I sprayed one spray from Sephora and the projection was amazing. My friend could smell it for many hours as well as myself. I don’t like most sweet powdery frangraces as they give me headaches and this one I just loved

I bought this and then seen your video but totally agree with the review, good job man.
Excellent review as usual of course, so Ashton, I've been testing the Zara Night 3, bottle looks kinda like that Montblanc, anyways it's a 10 out of 10, it opens like Armani Eau de Nuit with a strong iris vibe and on the dry down it's 100% Armani Code Profumo, it last for ever.. and the quality is pretty good, now that the colder months are coming get ahead of the competition and give that one a try, it's only 20 bucks for it.
btw are you still up with the Azzaro review? Do you recommend it as a blind buy?

Yeah it's worth checking out. If you can get better performance out of it I'd say you'll get good feedback because the feedback I got was very positive (while it was still lingering).

Another good review. In the beginning I see more similarity to Armani Code Profumo as to Versace Eros. That changes in the dry down and it smells more like Eros than Code Profumo. I see longivity and performance as weak as you do. Ladies realy like this perfum. Its good for close encounter. About the age classification: I am 48 and it suits me very good. At the moment the price ist way to high. 25$ per 100ml would be a fair price.
Agreed on most of your points. I have to feel it'll go down to Legend Intense/Legend Spirit prices before long. At that price it's a good buy. At $45 - $50 I would say it's better to look for something else.
I am looking to try this when I go to NYC in a few weeks. It may be like others but I still wish to try it out.

I never realized it was compared to Eros. I tried them side by side. Similar but have to admit, this is WAAAAY better than Eros!

it smell really nice similar to eros but its different enough to warrant a bottle if it was,stronger it be one best releases fragrance,this yr because it smell so good

My wife really likes the scent and I've gotten good feedback on it, so there's no denying there's potential. It isn't very unique though and the performance drags it down unfortunately. All that said, I don't regret buying it

I’m on my second bottle and I can say to me to my nose it smells nothing like any! Versace. I stop using Versace cause I feel I’ve outgrown them they are a bit to youthful playful I prefer mature dark mysterious and has his act together and that is why I like it I’ve got so much compliments with this so much so I’m not impressed by it anymore lol this isn’t for little kids.

Once the price drops I would say it's a good buy. Just be aware that the performance may be weak for you.
Holy shit... I sprayed this and was loving it and im like this is starting to smell like A mix between Versace eros and Mandarina duck black extreme. My nose is gradually getting better at spotting similarities between frags

The opening on this is incrdible. Smells gorgeous, seductive, sweet, masculine. Unfortunately, a couple of hours later and that violet flower note is mostly what is left and it just smells limp and strange.
I have a 30ml bottle and it will stay like that... indeed the performance is for and EdP just bad, such a shame because the smell is just nice. Just too good yo be true.

Just about all of the Legend fragrances do well in terms of being potential compliment getters. I do enjoy this fragrance, it smells nice and my wife really likes it, I just get poor performance and would really only use it for "close encounter" situations personally.
In a world full of Savauges, be a Legend.

buri zaemon legend night is a smoother darker seductive version of eros. It's not a beast mode performing fragrance like eros, but I don't think it's weak enough to underperform in a date night setting. Women will love you for this.
here again because i saw a boxed gift set with 100ml and 2 other pieces for $35.

I know the original is quite sharp and get be cloying enough to choke people out, does this have a similar sharpness or would you say it's lighter?
It's lighter, not the same type of scent. Now that you can find Legend Night for less money at discounters it's a more attractive buy.

Great review, Ashton! An Eros clone, huh? I don't know if it's just me, but I'm getting to the point where I am getting a bit frustrated with all these fragrance clones. It's the reason that I'm starting to get into niche.
Thanks brother! It's similar to Eros, wouldn't necessarily call it a clone but I would maybe say it's "inspired by" Eros. Kind of like Bleu de Chanel, Sauvage, Dylan Blue, Mr. Burberry, etc. are in the same family.

pandora p this actually very good. It projects very well on me and it smells delicious. I think this is one their very best ones. Like I said I bought after watching this review and I don't regret one bit.

Hi I have a question for you.
I bought the Mont Blanc Legend Night recently and when I opened the box the atomizer cover was not secured to the atomizer. It was independently packaged in the bottle. Did this happen to you?
