Fender extenders (front and back) should help protect your bike from dirt and water a little more. As for rust: Cleaning your bike whenever its dirty (especially muddy) and storing your bike in dry conditions (very low humidity) is pretty much the most important thing. You can additionally protect your bike after cleaning with "motorcycle wax"/bike protect. I am using Mucoff, but you can go with anything you like. Kept my MT07 real nice and shiny over winter storage and it gives old/faded plastic a new look. Using it is fast and real easy too. A cheap "mod" would be cleaning your exhaust headers from rust and making them shiny and polished again. Planning to do that on my brothers bike, it makes it look so much younger. If you are replacing the rear shock, i would look into fork upgrades too or are you happy with them? Öhlins offers some fork internals, which will go well with your shock. (Dumb question but have you played with the preload settings of your shock? I think the MT07 has the same one and it works fine for my 110kg. I guess you need a better one for offroading right?) A little advice for the Bikes engine: Either use Full-Synthetic Oil and change it yearly/10.000km or go with mineral oil and change it every 6-7.000km, regardless of the manual. Depending on if you want to keep it forever or not ;) Air filter is gonna be super important for you too since you ride offroad. I have seen bikes (Tenere 700 but same engine) hit well over 300.000km with sloppy maintenance. Imagine the potential of a CP2 with good maintenance. Big thanks for sharing your camera presets btw! I want to get started with content creation and your videos are definetly a good example to go by :)

Since I ride all year I need somekind of protection against rust, because cleaning the bike after every ride did not help. I've adjusted the rear shock right away but it is still bad ( it is on the highest setting ). Especially when you compare it to the other bikes and when you ride little bit off road. I was thinking about getting fork uprades too but they are too expensive for me at this point unfortunately. Definetly in the future. I agree, CP2 is such a good engines and easy to maintain. For the rust there is some fluid out there that can transfer the rust to normal iron and then it forms a layer above it so it should have some protection. I would paint the surfaces after that one more time then. For the headlight it would be nice to have something more than only "yeah, it has plastic so it is bad".
I use ACF50 keeps rust away. I would get a rear fender, Givi makes one and a front fender extender. Headlight option is Motodemic . K-Tech rear shock. All i got

However I am still on the stock exhaust, so I'm not sure about the compatibility with your Akrapovic pipe. Regarding protection from rust, I was looking into Muc Off's HCB-1 but haven't tried it yet. They claim that it removes existing rust, protects against corrosion, and can last up to a year.

Ne mjenjam ja te stvari da bi napravio Adv Motor nego da mi bude jos bolje podesen. Naravno da bi kupio Tenere ( koji mi je zelja ), ali mi je to trenutno financijski neizvedivo. Cak i kada bi prodao ovaj motor trebao bi nadodati jos jedno minimalno 5-6K eura ( buduci da su cijene zbog inflacije otisle u nebo ) sto mi nema nikakvog smisla. Jednog dana kad bude para za T7 World raid :)
Hey...i like your Bike ...i have a 2018 modell in Forestgreen....with Original Exhaust ,i buy a Zieger Plate for secure the engine. i think about also for modifications on my bike...but everything is very expensive,so i want a short LED Light in front and many more.A good Idea make the strip on the Tank in black leather.I never testte the mirrrors same yours,but the German TÜV no way for it.

I found 1 with 4000km for about 6000€, almost identical to yours.... but its from poland and im in germany...man its hard to find good offers for this bike. Thx! Congrats on your XSR :) The stock headlight is so ugly and very bad and the beam is terrible, you will be much better with good LED light. If you like the looks of the big bucket light, you can change the inside and replace it with LED. Have a safe ride. Regards from Croatia.

Ne znam ni koliko neki GPS tracker pomaze. Jedino mozda da pogledas na njuskalu jel netko iznajmljuje garazu u tvojoj blizini.. Hvala ti puno!

Great moto and mods. My advice for lower plate is the mod givi tn2130 for crash bars. It suits also for xsr700 and it has a nice design imo.

Ja ga držim vani tokom sezone ali ood ceradom. Preko zime sheram garažu sa frendom. Kupi stari motor pa ti ga neće ukrast.
