Great garden and video! Where did you buy the large terracotta pot from? I am located in Metro Vancouver as well.

Another great how to video. Thank you. You mentioned top dressing with compost. Do you buy your compost in a nursery like Lowes or Home Depot or do make it yourself. I find the compost in these nurseries are not consistent or the quality is not there. And what do you look for for when you buy compost.

It is my pleasure! Thanks for watching and comment. Actually I bought my compost from a local landscape company. I usually buy from 2-4 cubic yards for my garden and lawn top-dressing every year, it is decent price for both compost and delivery. It is too expensive if I go with that quantity at Home Depot or Lowes. This local landscape company supplies a lot of garden soils and compost. Their quality is pretty consistent, so I have been good with that in 5 years already. I don’t know if any points I look for when I buy compost, just simply trying, if it’s good, I will buy it again, if it isn’t, I will go with the others. Hope that helps!

Great video. Thanks so much for sharing. I am going to try your recipe for potting soil for my containers this season.
