      100. I'm done with my s22 ultra... buying an iPhone tomorrow. switched 3 carriers and still got network issues. The phone is new, and this is unacceptable.

@manj2482 I really think I should share my nightmare about this phone with everyone. But apparently it's the motherboard and needs to be replaced they are full of shit I went two months with no service and miraculously when they were supposed to send me a new phone Verizon got my service to be restored and never mentioned that they would just that they'd be sending a new phone out a new refurbished phone that is😂🤣

I even factory reset my samsung galaxy s22 ultra. Don't do it. Just get a new phone and transfer your crap there. I think its a physical phone issue. This pos just magically stopped connecting to the cellular network and randomly connects throughout the day.

For anyone else having this problem, I found out it's my damm case / protector that was doing it. I'm using a Spigen case. If I leave the case off, this frustrating problem stops happening. TBH, I don't think it's the case's fault, but rather something going on in the flex the phone's body gets by being IN THE CASE. The Spigen case is very tight and you can feel the phone's body flex putting it on. I'm certain that has something to do with it. I think somehow the SIM temporarily gets shifted in the tray and stops making contact where it should. I'm trying to find a case that doesn't do this. But Samsung really needs to design a phone that can have a case on it. Who doesn't use a case???

None of these worked to establish a network connection for my Galaxy s 22 Ultra. Band Selection isn't enabled on my model. Evidently Samsung has removed the option on this device, Model SM-S908U. I've tried numerous troubleshooting options without success resolving the issue.

Holy Cow! Finally, someone mentions resetting network settings. I have been dealing with dropped service in my home for 6 months now. Verizon techs couldn’t figure it out - hadn’t even heard of it - and other searches didn’t result in anything helpful. I believe your video showing resetting network settings fixed it! THANK YOU!

After trying everything on TH-cam I took my phone apart. I noticed the female antenna connector on the charging port board was slightly damaged. I would only get signal outdoors and would have trouble getting signal/data if I was driving/moving to different areas or indoors. I swapped the charging port board and now my phone signal works as it should.

So many users are havinf this issue, most commonly after a software updates, this raises suspicions, and it is quite possible that the developer could have intentionally put a bug to causes this issue in their update, what are the odds, of course it is possible, when they want the users to move on to the latest versions, its just business, they dont truiy care about anyone, all these mega companies care about is their wealth.

    • @DragoonMS

From what I've seen in a Verizon forum, it could be a hardware issue; some folks have found that there was something screwed with either the flex antenna or the charging port. If that's the case, how ironic that the problem persisted through the S21, S22, & S23...much like how the Z Fold4, Z Fold5, & Z Fold6 all have the same garbage rear cameras.
