Turns out the usb c board with the sim card slot is what needs to be replaced. This video will help. The board is removed at the 34 minute mark. th-cam.com/video/Xwz4ILXMMpA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=0JLQMDFACmWKNbab
Here's the part you need amzn.to/3UQHf4O
So did anything ever work? Because I just got my Sim and USB c board replaced but it didn't work and now I ordered the antenna to have that replaced.. but I'm I throwing money away or was your issue resolved? 😢
I am sitting at my desk, literally JUST replaced the USB-C / sim board for my S22 Ultra and... it's still not working. I'm ordering replacement antennas now to see if that will solve the issue. Fingers crossed it'll work because it's still much cheaper than buying a new phone. Will update in a week when the parts come in.
@@Sneezus420 if still not working, might be software or possibly the sim card itself.
@@ItsBinhRepaired I'm willing to bet it's not the SIM, as I've had sim card issues on a Samsung phone and it will prompt you to check your sim if it's happening. When I lose signal I still see the cards data populated in my settings. I will try to swap it out if the antenna replacement doesn't help either. FYI my phone is completely up to date on public branch updates.
@@Sneezus420 hope you're able to figure it out.
Hey guys i try changing the charging port board and it worked for me, i read in some forums that it worked for some users so i ordered one on ebay just swapped it in and it works like normal
Fixed the signal issue? :O
@@ItsBinhRepaired yes it did, am getting full signal (all the bars) no drops since and the data works fine also no slow connectivity, am still shocked at how easy the fix was
@@dienescoutain damn! I filed an insurance claim to get a replacement phone, which cost over $100...I was thinking it was a bad software issue. :(
@@ItsBinhRepaired dam sorry to hear and it only costs $14.
@@dienescoutain yeah :(
Awesome!!!
: )
Hey I just saw this video and i think I've the same issue with my s23ultra. The signal bars always fluctuates and only occassionally stabilizes, which is also causing a huge battery drain. So, do you think mine can also be an antenna issue? And what's up with people replacing the USB c port.
It seems it's more commonly the usb c board. I recommend replacing that one before trying the antennas. I'm not sure if the S23 Ultra is designed the same way though.
Should I just do an insurance claim and get a different phone? The back of my s22 ultra is shattered (has been for a long time before the stupid connectivity issues started). It just seems like not knowing whether it's the usb issue or antenna issue can be annoying and time consuming.
Seems to be most likely the usb issue. You can get a replacement back cover as well.
I didn't change the antenna flex cable and only the usb c board with sim card slot and my phone is working good as new thanks for the help :)
Yup, sounds like this appears to be the cause!
Where can I buy that bottle that you have the alcohol in? Nice video!
I actually just reused old printer ink refill bottles. You can use something like this amzn.to/4duFjGl
@@ItsBinhRepaired ok thanks
If you have the connection issue, try the usb c board. That is what appears to be the issue.
Nice nails!!😉👍
Thanks, they're very useful.
Hey can u try replacing the pba board I heard that's the fix waiting to try it
What's that?
Looks like that's working for a lot of people, replacing the usb c board.
I have no antennas But still have 5g, i didnt have issues until i dropped my phone after that it didnt seem to work as before, i have network issues and no signal, what should i do?
Try replacing the usb c board.
Are there seperate antennas for 3G,4G, and 5G?
Most likely. The one that's been failing is actually built into theusb c port board.
My s22u has weak signal problems..it’s only work at 5g area
Try changing the usb c board
I gotz e sim and its still doing no service problem
Yeah, that won't fix it. There are antennas in the usb c board
Did Samsung tell you if they changed your USBC board .did changing your USBC board fix your phone .I herd the antenna flex cable goes bad also
@@damensutherland7081 read all the comments. You'll see what other people had.
I think USBC board comes with the antenna flex cable
@@damensutherland7081 hmm not sure
20 Minutes of my life and the replaced antennas don't fix it.....
D: I heard other people fixed it by replacing the usb charge port board.
Did you manage to fix
@@elenikariolemou7363 replace the usb board
This is what you need amzn.to/3UQHf4O
For the love of God clip your fingernails
What's with all the little boys that are so concerned with the length of my fingernails? Do you tell all the girls with long nails to cut theirs too, or do you have some sort of guys with short nails fetish? Either way, I'm not into changing my appearance for your viewing pleasure. I'm not going to cut useful tools off my fingers just because it makes you confused about your sexuality or something. You might want to talk to your therapist about why someone else's nails bothers you so much.
@@ItsBinhRepairedtldr: "no"
That's no fun.
@@ItsBinhRepaired I was going to say... in this case.. those are tools.
