  • Hi,
I have talked about VLSI Jobs and its true nature in this video. Every EE / ECE engineer must know the type of effort this industry requires to make an informed decision about your career. Because A lot of effort is required to enter this field so if you did not like this field later on then there would be problems.
That's why this video is there !!
To tell about the kind of work and stress is present in the VLSI industry. I think it would help you all to make an informed decision.

I am a doctor but I am going to quit my medical studies in between, I also want to become krishna and learn vlsi design and win mahabharat. After that I will go to Google and resign next day.

That's Great Plan. Kindly execute and let us know your experience.
Btw Being 1% of Krishna would be very much tough for you as God doesn't trigger on small small things.

@@Singh-Rajveer you are wrong bro, vlsi is not a small thing. How can you say it is small .VLSI itself means very large scale integration.

    • @Singh-Rajveer
      @Singh-Rajveer  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      I Didn't say VLSI > Small.
It was about the reason you got triggered.
We both know, Why you are triggered 😂
      So, Accept the fact.
You are triggered with the reference of Mahabharata used in the VLSI video.
      However,
It was for the understanding purpose.
As we Indians are very much familiar with great stories such as Mahabharata.
But, You got offended and thought about leaving your medical profession and becoming vlsi engineer and Krishna together and also to Join google and next day resign as well.
That's why I said, Being even 1% of Krishna would be next to impossible for you.

Brother you are right vlsi industry also become tough due to lack of resources or solution to the problems a vlsi engineer faces in solving a practical situation like for IT guys there's also such challenges come but they can get help of stackoverflow etc to overcome this but in vlsi every problem is a New problem as I think

    • @Singh-Rajveer
      @Singh-Rajveer  ปีที่แล้ว +4

Yes, That's the reason freshers face a lot of problems in starting. The only way to get the thing done is using the help of someone experienced. That's when the team comes into picture. If there are experienced guys in the team then they would at least guide you to approach the proper way to solve the problem.
Otherwise a problem can be stuck for the days and would increase stress level !!

Usually 15-45% hike is there in the vlsi industry depending on individuals, projects and growth of team.
So if you switch just after a hike then one may achieve 60% overall. Currently it is not as much as Software on average but few exceptional people do well more than software guy but on average it is on lesser side in vlsi. Hi,
Write gate and Try in Tier - 1 colleges.
But if some electronics company visits your college for Oncampus placement then apply there as well because they will ask for basic electronics and digital electronics (gate) and verilog ( you may do a project in B.tech final year to learn this.)

Yes, Just take following things in mind
      1. Written test, Interview and final selection is totally based on your knowledge and skills
      2. We do M.tech to grap the opportunity which college provides by calling companies. So, If company is visiting your college then selection would depend on your skills.
      3. CTC may vary based on college reputation even for same profile.
For example texas CTC in your college was 18.5 last year while they offer 25 to top NITs and 27+ to Top IITs.

Would I get any job related to VLSI after the completion of any short term course regarding the same? Do you have any idea?

      Hi,
Actually, I won't truly suggest for training institutes rather M.Tech vlsi from top colleges the is best option if someone is from Tier-3 clg or having gap.
But, If you don't have that much time then CDAC can be an option.
Or the least recommended way from my side is:
Private training institutes and that should be as per your research. Take reviews from various students, placement records etc...

In Layout, you would get a lot of pressure and stress but the learning is very less. After few years in layout you'll feel like it's a labour work once you know everything. • @Singh-Rajveer

      1. Already shared roadmap for vlsi jobs.
      2. Recession usually impacts entire industry whenever it is there.Yet Last year, VLSI Full time roles were least impacted.
      3. I don't recommend any institute. You should do your careful research and feedback from students before joining any. Don't just reply on 1/2 feedback.
Also, Institute and colleges are just a medium to get an interview chance. Eventually skills and knowledge matters. Usually M.tech is preferred for vlsi roles if someone doesn't belong to top college in btech

      Kindly call me Rajveer !
VLSI has a bright future but don't know much about Manipal and its curriculum. It would be better to inquire from Manipal clg seniors. They can provide you with exact information.Uncle, Please Ask your son to kindly get in touch with seniors and ask everything (from academics to Placement ) before making any decision.
