6:20 In my head it sounds like they analyze the "pattern" of every frequency of sound by how they behave over time, and use that "pattern" to make that sound again
It's definitely a unique take on drum plugins and seems to have some potential, still messing around with it, getting some pretty good sounds so far. It does seem to have a couple down sides, but it may just require further tweaking of settings. And thanks for the explanation on modal synthesis, that definitely makes more sense to me. Yeah, the easter eggs/references are pretty fun to figure out, still feel like I'm probably missing some stuff, but like you said, maybe just legalities. Thank you for watching as well and taking the time to leave your thoughts, I appreciate you doing so! Take Care!
Thank you for watching, I appreciate you taking the time to leave a comment, I will definitely be doing more modo drum videos soon. As I said in the video, the first few will probably be attempting to get Lars Ulrich (Metallica), Alex Van Halen, and Vinnie Paul (Pantera) drum sounds using modo drum. Anything specific you'd like to see?
I would actually really like to do that, I will hopefully be doing quite a bit of Modo Drum videos so I'll add Reggae to the list, thank you for your suggestion! I'm not too well versed in Reggae, but what I have heard I do enjoy a lot, great drum sounds and a really nice groove. Do you have any recommendations of some of your favorite Reggae songs I could check out? I'm always looking to explore music and listen to things I haven't heard before so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again!
Again, thank you for your comment, I was just watching Rick Beato interviewing Kenny Aronoff the other day and he showed his practice routine with some rudiments. I'm going to start working on those, but anything specific you recommend that I should work on as well?
Surprisingly good for Gigabytes/Drum kit oriented plugins. I mean, other sample based plugin is about 1 GB per drum kit

Yes, indeed, good for aging Budweiser and apparently making drums as well!

Thank you for your input, I appreciate it, I will look to include more drums into future videos.
