I actually hate KH1 combat. Maybe it because I didn't know choosing hard mean stupidly hard either. I ended up watching TH-cam instead. But KH2 combat look like FFXV (technically FFXV look like KH2) and it seem fun.

It is, KH1's gameplay is much stiffer than 2's, and you can really feel that with some fights. I've no hit Sephiroth in 2 plenty of times, never managed it in 1

It is a button masher. Like Donguri literally shows that was 90% of his offense. If even he has to do that then that's kinda telling lol

When you're forced into a battle without Donald and Goofy, Sora gets a solo version of Trinity.
