Nice video Maxim! Actually the community maps still have a bug that doesn't let them use their custom sounds. The creator of pool day made custom noises for the inflatable toys, the showers, the toilets, the toilet doors, the lever.. And none of them work. But the creator know and told me they gonna try and talk about it to Valve.
So probably some other fixes to that next weeks.
The rubberbanding is the most annoying part now. It doesn't always happen, but when it does, holy shit am I annoyed. During such important moments too. That, and it REALLY feels like I should be getting AT LEAST 1 more shot in a guy only to find out I only hit him once. I'm not new to the game where I'm clearly just missing, some shots just don't seem to register. It wasn't even like this when the game (CS2) came out so idk.
Same feeling here but the rubberbanding is only my second most annoying issue, movement is still sliding more than past versions of the game, it no longer feels snappy to move around, it feels more like a chore where before you felt like a Ninja.
I bet subtick is the root cause of both issues.

Also running and gunning is more accurate and the peeker's advantage got more retarded
after few moments, you can pull back the lever, and get back to cs2 version
you just teleport to another map, both map are on top of each others

The 'teleporting backwards when you get shot' issue returned.
It was never really fixed, it was just a lot worse in the beginning

There's no way the gsync, vsync, reflex combo has less input latency than running everything turned off? The caveat being you need to maintain 1% lows higher than the refresh rate of your monitor right?
reflex always wins or ties with fps cap
why do you need vsync and gsync at the same time? isn't that enabling vsync is just ruining the point of using gsync?
@@nodrognameerf Apparently enabling vsync in the Nvidia driver is the correct way for gsync. Doesn't break it.

Reflex reduces input latency massively, but vsync part is questionable.

Pretaining to 3:02, for those on Windows 11: Windows changed the keyboard setting naming scheme, In the Settings app go to, Settings - Time & Language - Typing - Advanced Language - Input language hot keys (keep in mind that 'Input language hot keys' is a small hyperlink like button at the bottom of the settings window.

approving changes someone else made before releasing them in your product is foundational in development nowadays, so it would make sense for them to do it
I don’t know if they fixed it already, but we found a bug on memento: if someone is standing behind the green and white curtains in the market area next to the bombsite, it is actually fully visible on the minimap and the player model is visible through the wall as well if he hugs the wall 🌞
I appreciate that Valve is helping us with setting up the most optimal settings. But it's also a bit worrying because they've not done this in the past, so it feel like what they're saying is "we can't/don't know how to optimize the game further, so you do the optimizing on your end instead". 🤣

The problem with disabling the shortcut for changing kb layout is that there's a shortcut you cannot disable (win + space).
It was bothering me so much thet I went into tje registry and deleted all keyboard layouts
Imma be honest, people complain that the last 2 updates made the game worse, while for me the game feels MUCH CLEANER since the last 2 updates

Maxim, are you in charge of placing the next video pop up on the video? It's literally showing up in the middle of the video when I was about to read the settings recommendation.
Windows key + space can also toggle between keyboard layouts and as far as I'm aware, there's no way to disable that natively with Windows settings.
Yeah, there is no way to natively disable that, unfortunately. I use Powertoys myself to remap that combination to another command.

i've never asked you to do anything, but im BEGGING you to do this now:
please go and make a video about this gsync recomendation. test all the combinations of vsync and gsync settings and report back. PLS PLS PLS. im loosing my mind about this. 7800x3d and 4090 here, and with everything off, the game looks and feels choppy and nowhere near as smooth as csgo did on similar framerates.
if i turn on gsync, even when over 400,500fps im noticing input lag. maybe just placebo, this is why i'm loosing my mind about this.
it gets ever more complicated once you factor in the different gsync standards. i have xl2566k which is a gsync COMPATIBLE monitor. even more mess.

The keyboard issues is Spurce engine based I believe. I have same issue everytime I exit Apex. I have a startup command that executes to remove US English everytime I boot my PC 😂

Hey Maxim.. since the last game update before this one. My FPS in game is always 138. I tried putting fps_max on 0 and 100 and 150 and 400 but it’s always 138 fps.
It doesnt stutter or lag.. it is smooth but it is annoying.
I used to get like 250-400 fps

The rubberbanding has to be a side effect of Subtick, they need to revise this as it just doesn't feel great not knowing how much of the action happened a second before you dies, that second or however long is annoying.. maybe a proper killcam that removes the superfluous action would alleviate but really there shouldn't be this long of a wait before you die.
I would like to have an HUD radar with svg graphics. They are crisp in any resolution and small in bytes
Haven’t played for a week. Came back from vacation and played last night. I had the highest average fps and 1% lows ever. 530 average fps over a 2-hour session on Casual 10v10 (this is actual average fps measured over time with MSI). 7800x3d (-30 PBO) and 4070 Super (+240 core, +1,500 memory OC, flattened the curve at 950). I play 4:3 1440:1080p at maximum video settings. I think I will soon upgrade to a 27 inch oled 360hz monitor as my ancient 24 inch 144hz Benq seems to be bottlenecking my setup. So, for me, they did improve the fps, stuttering and 1% lows with the last three updates.

Dont go oled. Terrible brigthness.. 300 nits or above is a must unless your house is a cave or u still live in your moms basement 🤷♀️
I'd love to know what their angle is on the video settings, is it just to keep noobs quiet? Optimum was at odds with the recommendations 2 years ago and i don't think anything has changed? see his video: "Unbeatable Input Lag + FPS Settings (Frame-cap, Reflex, G-Sync)"

idk why yesterday when i launched cs 2 it recommended me to use 75 hertz refresh rate and i have 60 hertz monitor STILL yeah lol but like when i changed it it feels lot smoother but like why is this the case how its possible to go from 60 hertz monitor to change it ingame to 75
Yea I finally decided to take a break from cs till the rubber banding and network is all fixed im tired of losing gun fights
instead of removing the language switching shortcut i just removed all languages, and kept english with my german layout

I really dont understand why the devs dont fix major problems in the game itself which have been known for almost a year now. How comes that we still CAN NOT BOOST without bugging, dont make weird water noises without doing any input etc. They are aware of the problems, they know how to reproduce them and yet nothing has changed. I am actually starting to think that the devs are incompetent and we will get another major with major issues.
New updates are fire, good changes overall. I really like them.

They're essentially the same thing. Gsync is just Nvidia's way of handling vsync.
